When Thrift Smart opened, they prided themselves by being a more upscale thrift store in the area. They'd only put out the best of the best. It's super close to me (along with a couple of others), but Southern Thrift is my preferred for clothes and random stuff. I briefly worked at Southern Thrift, and they notoriously price things high, but the "color of the week" deals can be a steal. The downside is that a lot of great vintage clothes would get sorted out to recycle or trash because they weren't "perfect." I had an old Givenchy sweater come through my "keep" pile, and someone tossed it into the trash and got onto me for letting it go through since it had normal pilling on it. The manager got involved and agreed with me to sell it because it was designer. Once I got a DVF robe for $8 there. There's no telling what all they've let slip through, but that's how all the ones around here seem to operate.
@@anashvillegirl I love that you worked at southern thrift!! I would’ve bought everything that came through 😅 yes I definitely understand the price… I think I just love to dig for gems smaller thrift stores. Guess it’s the thrill of a great find. I found a vintage DVF dress last year and need to style it! So happy to have you! 💕
Nothing like holding that book in your hands. Perfect way to go places in time.❤
@@user-bu3th6qd3f YES!! A kindle or phone doesn’t even compare! I’m old school 😊
Loved the look, pigtails, bandana, and earrings❣️❣️❣️
@@Pinkwaterballoon wow you are so sweet thank you 💕
The vest looked good and good find on the bags too.❤❤❤
@@user-bu3th6qd3f thank you!!!
Vintage, (Older than 50 years), antique, (Older than 100 years)
@@robinkulaszewicz9952thanks for the comment! I think vintage is at least 20 years or older. I was born in the nineties, and things from the early 2000s are now considered vintage. Makes me feel old 😅
Nice finds.
@@SandraQuick-c8h thank you 💛
