Hi Thomas big fan of your work just a question if you have the time , I have a 2000 2000 Volkswagen beetle 2.0 AEG I recently came across a no fuel problem. I turn the key and the pump doesn't turn on. So then I take off 409 relay and I turn the key and put three lay back in and you can hear the pump turn on and then when I start the car with the relay out and I put the relay back in it'll turn on for about 5 seconds and then die out and when it dies out i hear it click in the relay which i think it stops providing electricity to the pump? If you can help, I am more than happy too. Pay you for your knowledge and time. Hope to hear from you. Thanks
Start with a full system scan... to see what codes are stored in modules. FP relay is controlled by the ECM... determine if the relay is turning off because the ECM is no longer controlling it or because of a relay / wiring fault. Using a test light to check power / grounds / control etc. Nothing specific jumps to mind, sorry. If other things are acting up also (relays clicking, lights dim etc), check the main chassis ground connection under the battery tray.
Thanks for replying. I really appreciate it. So I actually opened up the FP relay .with the key in the start position. I cranked the engine and it was just turning over and I noticed there was no contact between 2 points inside of the relay so I kind of manually made it come into contact it to see what would happen ..I first heard the pump kick on and then shortly the car started just fine. I turned it off after about a minute and I turned it back on and it worked. So do I have a faulty FP relay? Is that what that means? Or should I keep on troubleshooting it? But I will scan tomorrow all the modules with my VCDS
Hello Thomas, my vehicle is a VW Bora 2005 1.6 16v. I close the windows with the remote control, but when I lock the doors, I want the open windows to close. Which cable triggers the comfort module? Can you help me, which is the cable that lifts the 4 windows?
It's not a single cable. It's the programming in the comfort module. You have to activate "windows up when locking" with VCDS or similar... if the option to activate is not present, then the software has to be reprogrammed / flashed to get that function working... but that can't be done with VCDS (can not flash software, can only change settings).

@@EXOVCDS I have vcds and kkl cables and programs. Could you write which option? What exactly does it say? Can you send an example video?
