sorry im late again. I havent finished replying to the previous videos but again, i see there are early birds again thank you so much for staying tuned. ^_ ^ I just wanna clear some things.
- You probably didn't expect this song. I mainly chose it for the thematic music during the final battle and to emphasize how she's willing to be the bad guy for the sake of her ideals. Also, the desperation because this is the only route where she goes hegemon.
- the tragic relationship between edelgard & dimitri who were once good friends.
- "I'd give up for you."
we all know she wouldn't and didn't because Dimitri told her to cut a path to a future she wanted no matter what.
- "you gave me advice, I chose genocide."
please know that this song is from PoV of Frisk from UNDERTALE and that doesnt apply to Edelgard.
She doesn't commit or want to commit Genocide . its TWSD who wants to kill all Nabateans and thats not really what Edelgard wants. (CF/Black Eagles spoilers)

I agree. I personally think she took the crests stone to rid of herself of emotion so her feelings won’t get in the way of her battle, but even then her emotions still come into play. A little fact if you didn’t know, but Hegemon Edelgard will never target Byleth at all. She only counter attacks if Byleth attacks, but that’s it.

I feel like Edelgard only took the crests stone she allowed herself to have a meeting with Dimitri and hear him out, and since her emotions probably got in the way to let her even do that, she probably knew if she fought them as herself she would hesitate to kill Dimitri and Byleth. Even when she takes the crests stone, she never attacks Byleth unless you attack, then she’ll counter attack but that’s it
Solid song but I don’t think its use here really matches Edelgard’s general lack of remorse throughout the routes. Nothing Left to Lose I thought really captured her vibe but this one is definitely a bit out of character. I was waiting for the original to be from Dimitri’s perspective (with the “I think you’re just mad cause your single” line being hilarious given Edlegard’s unquenchable thirst for Byleth). Nitpicks aside, I love the musical so far! My girlfriend and I are checking back everyday to hopefully see that Dimileth ship land.
