The Shadow of the Wind is one of my all-time favourite books. I alternated between reading the physical book and listening to it on audible, read by Daniel Phillpot and it was EXCELLENT. He did the voices so well. I don’t understand Spanish but it sounded authentic the way he spoke when doing accents or pronounced Spanish words. A beautiful book 😍
The Invisible Life of Addie Larue definitely has those cozy vibes for days!! It doesn't matter what's going on in any scene, the writing style just screams coziness. Awesome recs!!
I agree with you about Shadow of the Wind. I'm reading the translation, and loving it. And anything by Sanderson is great. I have finished the series, but wish I hadn't. I want more.
‘The time of year that I can wear turtlenecks every single day’ 👀👀 But you sassed yourself before I could! Yes to Ninth House! ‘May I throw a middle grade on here’ Here we go Pages and Co.!! I still need to read this
Also Discovery of Witches takes place during fall... just saying the academia straight into Halloween vibes are IMMACULATE. So glad we got you pushing our All Souls agenda My top fall recs that you didn't mention are: The Accident Season, The Scorpio Races, and The Picture of Dorian Gray *insert pumpkin emoji here*
I don't read that any classics, but my copy of Dorian Gray just arrived, would you say that it's easy to read? 'cause I've been reading Jane Eyre for months and I still don't finish it even when I'm loving it. But, Dorian Gray is easy to Read?
@@ramirez4630 Dorian Gray is pretty short, and was also written later than Jane Eyre so the language is a little more accessible. It's still a classic with prose that's a bit more complicated than most modern writing, but I would say it's one of those classics that are easier to read for people not used to classics.
Mel this is the perfect time to read The Headmaster. It really fits the fall vibes. It's very short but still feels fleshed out to me. I think you'll really enjoy it 🎃
Girl I just wanted to say that your hair is gorgeous, your makeup is gorgeous, it's also quite strange watching people talk about fall when it's spring and a million degrees where I live and the fact that I FOUND A UA-camR WHO LOVES BOOKS AS MUCH AS I DO!!! 💕💕💕👏🏼
I really want to read Ninth House because I loved her Six of Crows duology! Also agree with you about the Addie Lerue; the atmosphere and vibes and cozy!
A recommendation list that included a translated book 😱 Thank you for putting together a list includes all different genres. Ordering Shadow of the Wind for sure.
Hi i came back here after reading Dowry of Blood and I loved it sooo much. Based on other recommendations that I have already as well I realized we kind of have the same taste in books. Love youu keep making videos ❤
I adore The Shadow of the Wind. And the whole series, the first book is definitely the best one, but the whole journey in time is just magnificent. And I just love the female main character of the last book ;) By the way, did you know there is music on the website to accompany the book/reading? It is worth a try!
🎃 Discovery of Witches is definitely on my wish list. I found books 2 and 3 in my local charity shop and now they keep calling me from my TBR shelf to read them but I need to find Discovery first!
If you liked shadow of the wind you’d love the prince of mist, it’s by the same author and fantastically atmospheric, if you haven’t read it yet I’d definitely say check it out.
For people who doesn't like dracula (like me xd) I'd recommend carmille, it's such a good classic book and also have lgbtq+ representation (yeah I know it's rare to find a inclusive book in the 18's but hey, Carmille have it) and it's more old than dracula.

I am intrigued by a discovery of witches and am going to buy it on kindle asap. Magic, romance and ancient history all speak to me
ooo i hope you love it too!!💖
How long does it typically take you to read a Sanderson book that chunky? And since you annotated it does that take away time ?
depending on my momentum, it could take as little as 2/3 days👀
Oh yes the rollnecks! Cant wait to see the roll neck collection in the upcoming videos 😊
it’ll be loud, present, and voting😮💨
