Bro they have side Mount adapters. It's cheap as hell. The bolt is longer and also has another head to unscrew and put ur power wire onto it and screw it back down. Look it up. Positive side Mount adapter for amp. If u can't find it lmk and I'll find where I purchased mine and give u the link.
Do you need an aftermarket radio for this? I know a friend of mine ran into an issue with his oem radio not having ports for the rca so he had to get a new radio, so im not sure if that applies with these radios too
@spreaderniter01 ok so I ended up doing it on my own, unless you buy an aftermarket oem radio they don't, you need to buy a line output converter I think is what it was called, and wire that in
On my 98 Extended cab there’s a screw close to where the rear seat mounts to the floor on the passenger side of the vehicle. I don’t see it securing anything at all, it’s just there. Looks like it might have been put there for grounding accessories. Didn’t even have to sand the area either. Nonetheless I used that instead of drilling a hole.
@@chuckhammond6960 I still have the compartment for the jack infront of that screw, not sure about the compartment for storage though never seen it unless you’re talking about the storage/compartment box for the jack.
I have a 92 c1500. Did the sub take up hella space? I don't like the fact that in order for you to have subs you have to slide the bench seat forward a couple of inches.
Rod M . No it does not take up that much space . I still have room for junk back there lol As far as the seat having to be scooted up a bit, it works fine for me lol since I’m kinda short haha
I have side post on the battery of my 99 Silverado 1500 and it is easy for me to do my light bar and subs under the hood there was a little red box that you open you can hook positive and negative to it without having connected directly to the battery made it a lot easier
You have 2 auxiliary terminals on the fuse block that u could have hooked on too that would have made it too easy but you did a decent job none the less. Also the lap belt bolts are great for grounding to without having to drill any holes. I know u prolly don't care about what you could have done so I'm stfu.
Hey man who knows if ur active in 2023 but those auxiliary terminal are u going to have to put a fuse thing protecter? Or can u just run it with the 30 amp fuse that it is located in the box
@@sophiapresley8558yes you need an inline fuse.the 30 amp fuse in the box will only let you run a 300 to 400 watt amplifier. But if thats all you need thats fine.
Out of all the vids on here this was the most helpful
Thanks
I love ur vids u make it so easy to follow along and super easy to understand
Quick question: how do you run the wires into the radio and the subwoofer? To be specific the power wires and the rca cables
Was going to get the same speakers for my 05 good choice!

Joshua Deacon ok thanks!
hey bro a year later and i need that link
I don't know if you know this but under the hood is a fuse box and there are terminals for accessories there.
Earl Bubba no I didn’t , thanks

Trying to figure this one out as well. I have found adapters on the internet that may work, but idk

Do I connect all blue wires of just specific ones

There was originally a rod there bolting down a compartment for storage and a place for the jack

If you look at the fuse box there's two accessory bolts I just used those to power mine
What speaker did you use? Wanting a sub in my 89 Chevy Scottsdale.
It's a kicker sub
What did you think about the cerwin Vegas after some time?
Still work great

@@matthew1er Lol that doesn't work for me I'm big so I need some space. I watched your video of San Francisco where are you from bro?
Where are you supposed to put the ground wire? Does it matter? Or can you just put it on any metal part of your truck?
I screwed mine straight into the floor of the truck I just sanded the metal a little bit to where it is bare metal
Hey bro how well does it sound with 1 10? Lmk please. I’m gonna be using a 10” and I’ve never had a system so I need some feedback haha
It's give it a lil more bass but It would sound way better with two 12s or one 12..
What’s the diameter of the box? I have a obs single cab and I’m trying to find a box online that will fit like that
If you go througj summit racing they have them custom fit for the truck
What beat is that playing when you're opening the amplifer wire? Sounds nice
That came out fire😍 g how much was that in total? trying to get me sum for my obs
About 350 max
Where did you run the power cable through
FvG Boss through the passenger side fender then under the door seal
HENSON GARAGE Thank You
Good video, but 8 gage is undersize for 1000 watts.
Can show how you ran the power wire
When I was installing my light bar on my 94’ k1500 I ran into the same problem with the battery post.
Nathan Hill how’d you get it to screw back in cause I can’t get it
With the wire terminal on

Sucks to be yall i just got a battery with both top an side posts lol
How did you get it through the fire wall?
I just went through the door electrical grommet
Would this be similar for an 04 single cab Sierra ?
Yup
Where did u run ur power wire
Through the passenger side fender and then through the electrical door grommet into the cab
And then under the door seal to the back of the cab
I'm sure your fuse holder melted by now?
Idk
Can you let the seat all the way back with that box there
Yea pretty much
