And also the rivalry which appeared later on was mainly focused between the croats and serbs, which made the big two cliques in the former Yugoslavian team. I remember teoman Alibegović as part of the youth team and Damir as bosnians, but they were not in the A national team
To ti je cuvena Hala Sportova na Novom Beogradu, gde je KK Partizan igrao domace utakmice punih 25 godina, do 1992. Ako mene pitas, to je najbolja dvorana za navijanje, jer je 3x akusticnija od Pionira.

I cant understand why croatian players bring the war politics shit in the sport and use this crap to turn back to serbian athletes like divac or savic, iam from greece ,greek and turks never run good,if i was a good friend with a turkish person and the politics start war this mean i cut my fruend because its frim turkey? The truth is like Dražen said once,war was happening in Croatia not Serbia and Šibenik(city where Dražen and his family lived) was under serbian siege. Dražen said "we were close friends but he never called to ask is everything ok with me and my family. He wasn't interested, and if war was happening in Serbia i would call him to see is everything ok with him or he need any help. I guess it is not that big friendship and we just lost contact". That was Dražen's words and documentary is just typical american heartbreak story. Fun fact is that they were good but not best friends. Dražen's best friend was Stojko Vranković actually, so this movie is not the whole truth.

You know, JNA comander in artillery position, Serbs natiinality, he turn artillery against own army, and stop attack JNA on bridge, and save city. Dražen was half-Serbian, even if he feel 100% Croat. But, in that time, our nation fellings was on stereoid. All of us. We felling like we must defend own self, becouse much stronger enemy attack us, killing us, take our teritory, city.... War was been brutal, with crazy amount of angry and war crime.. in that moment, flags have much more then only flags. For Dražen, and for Divac, and for all. I alwas say, its best team in wrong place in wrong moment.

Vlade divac was a soccer GK in Yugoslavia. He was too tall to play soccer. So they tell him to play basketball because you're too tall.
