Okay I finished listening and Jesus be my help 😭 I was convicted. I still am not in total agreement with everything that he is saying, but the majority is so clear to me and I’m praying God would open my eyes and help me to humble myself. We truly don’t know how wicked and deceitful our hearts are. Lol man, but God is so patient and gracious. Glad I listened in the height of racial tension and division. I long for equality, for peace, for justice, for God’s will to be done on Earth as it is in heaven.
Shekinah Anderson It’s so encouraging when Christians share their convictions and growth. It’s so easy to pretend like we always know how things are and how they should be-but admitting when Christ is renewing our hearts and minds requires humility and that’s a beautiful thing! Thank you for encouraging me to joyfully accept conviction from the Lord even when it’s uncomfortable!
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 For what it is worth, I am sorry for what has happened in terms of the way African Americans have been treated in The USA. Romans 8 however, gives me hope: "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." God loves us so much, he accepts us where we are at, but loves us so much that he will not leave us where we are. Be well, my fellow sister in Christ.
I so admire when people are willing to consider a different perspective and consider changing his or her previous ideas. Blessings to you that you can listen prayerfully and examine your attitudes, especially when confronted with Biblical teaching.
Katherine McArthur you’re so right. The sanctification process is NOT PRETTY haha. Thanks to God that he is gracious to us. I’m so glad you were encouraged by my “wrestling”. Thank you for saying that.
The Pious Priest oh man. Thank you so much for saying this. It means more than you know. If I was allowed to have a favorite passage it, it would totally be Romans 8. Haha Romans 7-9 have been blessing me tremendously in this time. I really appreciate the point back to the Lord in all of this.
I love Voddie, but that Duck Dynasty/ZZ Top beard looks ridiculous-like roadkill growing out of his chin. He needs to keep that thing trimmed and stylish, as in years prior. 😉
I’m a white guy married to a beautiful black girl listening to this in the midst of riots and chaos, trying to figure out how to best guide and lead and protect my family. This was an answer to prayer. One of my favourite preachers delivering a God-Centered message.
your marriage is an amazing testimony...all marriages are, if allowed to testify...but yours is special and i pray blessings on you and your wife as you lead by example. Your love is powerful. Fight (in the spirit) to protect your unity, your love...thanking God for your story. but please remember, not all will honor, approve, understand...What God has done, let no man put asunder. praying for you.
Institutional/Systemic racism is a term invented by social activist Stokely Carmichael. Like many terms invented by social activists it puts a word in front of the original word to pervert the definition of the original word(like: social justice, politically correct, democratic socialism). Although the definition is vague, systemic racism suggests that racism can be unintentional/incidental. I don't believe that nor do many others. Racism without intent isn't racism, you're just misinterpreting the situation or being offended. Being offended is a choice. People can be offended by genuine compliments or be unoffended by direct insults. It's related to that persons ego/pride Even if you disagree with my assessment there are many people much smarter than I who have debunked the concept. Systemic racism is a lie and it places blame on groups of people who have done nothing wrong. Sorry for the rant but I'm beginning to feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day
He speaks like no one I have ever heard. He is one of my best finds on UA-cam. I love that he uses the Bible as his go-to reference for how we should approach living together and relate to each other. God has made of one blood all the peoples of the earth but we separate ourselves by culture and ethnicity. We are one in Christ our creator and redeemer.
I grew up without a father and a lack of male role models. Voddie has been an incredible help for me. I hope to become a similar husband, father, and man that he is or at least the one that he presents. To be quite honest, I struggle to not idolize this man, but I do appreciate everything he has given me.
@@MBS_DrewI think he is a great man because he speaks with humility. It's one thing to be gentle and another to be passionate. To have both is a gift of the Holy Spirit because you speak with conviction that comes from above without the human will forcing it to happen in "your way your terms and your timing"
@CaptainYesz Exactly. I love how he's also very relatable and funny without degrading the message. When he talks about how we're all one race, he often jokes about how he was "blessed" with all that melanin 😂. The whole congregation laughs because they know he's half appreciating what God has given him and half slightly making fun of people who get so worked up about being pro-black. There's plenty of other phrases he says as well. I'm just so pleased to have found him.
Almost everything that he says in the video is exactly what I have been telling my family and friends, and boy oh boy have I gotten into trouble (insults, arguments, berating criticism, someone already said she won't ever talk to me). I am so happy I came across this. I will send it to everyone. He explains it so much better than I ever could. Great Message, Great Preacher Ethnic Gnosticism!!!
Not gonna lie. This was so hard to listen to. I love Voddie and I trust him. I don’t agree or like some of the things that he is saying, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not true. I’ve only gotten to 37 minutes so far. But I’m going to continue. And I’m also going to pray and dig in the scriptures so God can show me my heart and where I need to repent.
I agree Shekinah. I don’t agree with some of what he’s saying. I see he didn’t mention that institutional racism was a problem at some point in American history. And that that hurt changes people. But what he’s saying comes from a place of love. And yes, blacks shouldn’t be stuck in the pain of the past and should rise above when offended. We need to let Christ help us understand.
Love the name. As a reminder, Paul in Acts 14:9 after being stoned got back up and went to preach the word. I encourage you to continue seeking God and allow Him to continue giving you a biblical worldview. For we walk by faith not by sight.
God bless you sister!!!! I am blown away by your vulnerability and by the openness of your spirit, to consider points of view that might strongly contradict your own. I'm convicted by it, to be honest. I think the cure to what currently ills our nation would be everybody taking a step back and doing this very thing for a change. Each and every one of us. Carefully consider the other side of the coin, with sincerity. Myself included.
THIS is the message our churches need to be sending from the pulpits! The modern church is being changed by the culture far more than it is working as a change agent for the culture.
This guy jalways cuts a straight path to the truth. In this case, where whites are wrong, he says it clearly and unapologetically. Where blacks are wrong he does just the same. I am convinced that this man is a Believer first and foremost.
Ha ha. I find it funny that you ask how “whites are wrong”, but you don’t ask what I mean by “blacks are wrong”. I’m just referring to stereotypes. Where there is racial division, Voddie calls everybody out. If you’re thinking I’m a social justice warrior; you’re dead wrong. I’m just a guy he’s so sick of all of it.
Eric_ Martindale It was a simple question of valid question. It sounds like you have a lot of ideology in your mind. To be able to assume so much from such a small question
1. “In this case”: Speaking of this sermon exactly. 2. “where whites are wrong: When white people invoke tokenism or succumb to a false sense of race-related guilt (if you actually watched the sermon). 3. “When blacks are wrong”: When black people claim sole authority over all things racism. ...although this one didn’t seem to bother you.
As an African man I bless God for Voddie. This makes you rethink your whole understanding of affirmative action: “Because of the color of your skin, that makes you a weaker brother and we have to lower the standards for you” That’s straight racism.
Where anywhere in this message did he mention for Christians to speak to other Christians and non-christians the truth in love? That's scriptural too and for whatever reason he didn't bring it up, makes me wonder. He spoke a lot but he didn't seem to speak from real experience, which is very difficult when you face it day after day after day. The way he speaks, makes me think he he's from black privilege. Because in this world. Green in certain Social Circles, is all that is seen, no matter if you're black, white, red brown or purple. Just saying.
@@onlybelieve777 Actually, I have no idea what you are saying? 1. You do not point to anything he said that was wrong? 2. The only thing you make is assumptions. Could you explain what "black privilege" is, because from where I am sitting, you are just judging someone on the basis of their skin colour and you should be ashamed!
@@orthodox9191 No need to get defensive. 1. I didn't say he said anything wrong because he didn't. He went to the Love chapter in scripture and he was correct. Unfortunately, he did not bring out one more important scripture, he did not mention that we need to speak the truth in love. To everyone. Scripture doesn't tell us to ignore injustice. but to confront it. When our Lord walked this earth He constantly clashed with injustice. He is our model. The only time He was silent towards injustice was when He went to the cross to pay for the sins of the world. Let's not forget that. 2. Ashamed I am not. It seems you are judging me, thinking that I am not black. I am and also other races too. To look at me and my hair I would be considered 'black'. That said, I was raised in a white middle class neighborhood. Based on what I heard I don't think he ever really experienced racism. His mannerisms tell me he's from 'black privilege'. Black privilege is someone who is black that has wealth (money - green) & power. There are many who are of black privilege and they have their own challenges, this is true. However, if he truly experienced real racism, he didn't convey that in his message. That's all I'm saying. ua-cam.com/video/rRIQ5GGfR9w/v-deo.html A White Pastor's Response To George Floyd - Excellent message worth listening to as well.
@@onlybelieve777 Brother. Please try not to read into my words. I have no need to be defensive. You wrote to me and tried to make a point. All I said was that I have no idea what point you are trying to make and that overall it seems like you are simply judging this pastor based on his race. I assumed you were black from the beginning. That doesn't mean you can't be a racist, Why does he have to mention that "we need to speak the truth in love. To everyone." What Christian doesn't know that already? When did this pastor say "to ignore injustice". I can only guess at why you are upset. Are you upset that he was not more critical of the bad things that are going on as well? That doesn't mean that he is not critical or that he doesn't fight injustice. However, let's not forget another thing. When our Lord was on the cross, He said "forgive them Father." Like I said, black or white or anything in between, if you are racist, you should be ashamed. I get your point. You may have had a different experience than me and maybe you are able to see things in this sermon that I can't (I am white). However, that is even more reason for you not to send me that message that you sent. How am I supposed to discern what the truth is when what I have to compare is a 50min sermon from a respected preacher and a few sentences from someone who came out of nowhere that wants me to take his word for it that this pastor is not genuine. I hope you can see the ego there brother! Maybe you should have first sent me the video "A White Pastor's Response" and asked to engage in conversation first before asking me to take your word for it! And yes, I will watch it. I love looking at everything from all perspectives. I will reply with some thoughts after I see the video. I the meantime, I would like to make two points: 1. Why are you saying that a black person with money has "black privilege" Isn't it obvious that such a person has "Green Privilege" Why do we have to get race involved in this case? 2. Why did you choose to write to me. I made a post praising the wisdom, humility and discernment of this pastor. What message are you trying to give me? That he is not those things? That he could do better? How would mentioning that "we need to speak the truth in love" have improved his sermon? Thanks.
@@onlybelieve777 Hello my friend. I watched the video you recommended (A White Pastor's Response to George Floyd's Murder). It was one of the worst sermons I ever heard and for sure the worst one on the topic of racism. That pastor is very irresponsible. I am sure God will forgive him though because because his mind has obviously become clouded and deluded with all that is happening. During these difficult time, we need strong and courageous leaders and not ones that panic so easily that they don't know what to do that they have to justify and promote riots!!! Now that is sad. I don't have time to explain exactly what I mean and why I drew that conclusion. I will write again later in the evening or sometime tomorrow to try to explain why this sermon IS NOT worth listening but is rather spiritually dangerous to listen to.
This man Mr. Voddie Baucham is a truth seeker/teacher of the highest degree! I agree with all of his message and I feel blessed to have found and receive his message from God! I pray that we all come to the point of respectively understanding and appreciating God's gift of ethnicity and supporting each other so as to achieve a higher level of understanding of Gods gifts of weaknesses and strengths in all of us. Not to exploit but to understand and support one another. This is the only way that I can see to preserve God's laws and gifts of individual freedom to choose, freedom to pursuit our true passions under our brothers and sisters in Christ! Amen. Thank you Voddie!
Beautiful teaching, but a bit one sided I think. Blacks are shown their errors but whites walk off free, instead have been unfairly made to feel guilty..
Wonderful, what a message for all of us. As God call Ravi home to rest, He called Voddie up to bat. Thank The Lord for this brother. And all of you who share the message of unity through Christ with love, patience and kindness. Stay fervent flock, for your father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.
God bless this wonderful Christian man who I am happy to call my brother in Christ. I have learned more about God and living a TRUE Christian life in the past year than all the rest of my years put together. Men like Voddie Bachman have much to do with that.
Very current message for a world and country lost in darkness, not realizing how deceptive sin truly can be. Only God truly knows man’s heart and yes leaders hearts too. One body in Christ many parts all with meaning and purpose equally before God, to be used to draw all men to himself and glorify HIM.
There is one race of created men and women(Lost Sinners) that have two choices: Self serving victims (you are your own god) or broken sinner (knowing you have no righteousness of your own and need a rescuer). The former? Doomed to self destruction by willfully blinding themselves to the truth. The latter? On a path of self examination measured against the eternal knowledge of God through Jesus Christ and the words of the Holy Spirit. Rescued from judgement by faith. Thank you Brother Baucham.
Just discovered Dr. Baucham this week. How come I've never come across him before?! God is speaking through him at a difficult time in our nation. The striking thing is that this message was preached over a year ago. Looking through the comments it is apparent that many needed this message today. Fascinating how God works in His time and through His providence. Never too early. Never too late.
This is the first preacher I heard addressing this problem as it pertains to the life of the believer everywhere . I feel the same way! Love you my brother and keep up the good work
Yes, Dr Bauchum. We've come a long way, and yet we're still in the same place- Divided by hatred, stupidity and pure evil. But; "as for me, I will trust in the Lord and He will direct my path". Thank you, God. Thank you, Rev Bauchum. J W
This is the Truth of God. The world needs this now more than ever. I thought it was just the US that had this problem but we are seeing it across the whole world now. Jesus help us!
Cultural marxism can come so close to hitting the mark, but still miss the real issue of conviction. Your Christ like perception ,was edifying.. "rightly dividing" the truth from the deception. Thank you.
What an amazing guy! He is a voice of reason in the midst of so much hate and decisiveness. You can feel the spirit when he speaks. A true follower of Christ.
This is a righteous man. A true and natural leader. The devil has lifted men like Sharpton and Jackson and since society has turned its back to God, they don't see God's light shining down on men like this.
Thank you Dr. Baucham, convicted on both ends for my own personal form of ethnic Gnosticism and my lack of biblical perspective on the beauty of race and ethnicity. What peace, joy and hope the truth of God's Word brings to us poor sinners.
God is using Voddie Bauchman to proclaim the gospel and the truth. I am reading "Fault Lines" . I have been listening to his podcasts and sermons. He speaks from the Scriptures
This Brother has an amazing spirit filled mind. What a gift and bravery to get to the heart of such difficult issues. I have heard his preaching on the Gospel and it is equally amazing.
I feel so incredibly blessed to have found this today! My heart has been hurting over all that has been going on and it has me feeling so defeated. So much wisdom and truth in your words. God Bless you!!
Thank you brother Baucham. As a christian I'm convicted and humbled by this great word of wisdom and encouragement. God is using you to speak to us, and I appreciate your gift and your words. Your humility and truth spoke to me, and for that I'm grateful. Thank you and God bless you!
Dr Voddie the reason you don’t get a lot of hallelujahs is because we are hanging onto every word you speak never have I heard such teachings or preachings such as the way God has taught you. I check the word of God with your teaching Amen 🙏 praise Jesus
Thank you, I will share this video on my blog. Founders Ministry asked Voddie Baucham to speak on the phrase that he coined - Ethnic Gnosticism. It appeared at first that he wasn’t too thrilled to tackle this, but he did. As another person commented under this video - “Persons who live on soundbites are going to find this hard-listening.” But I’m glad I pressed-on, it was worth the time. Too many are afraid to speak on subjects that might appear to be negative, or critical, but sin must be exposed and dealt with (Eph. 5:1-21). I appreciate how he called-out Matt Chandler for what I call reverse racism. What he said about “quoting men” is so true, that’s why I often remove names, and will say “Another scholar said…” Or “One commentary reads…” Or “One Theologian said this…” Christians - especially now with social media, it is terribly easy to get entangled into this, from either side that we may be on. Even if we’re right, we can be wrong (or sin) in how we tackled it. As Paul commanded - we must walk circumspectly. After all of this, Voddie closes with this admonishment (but the closing verse was more convincing & convicting). “So let us speak to the great ills, and evils, and sins of our day. Let us proclaim and trust in the Gospel of Christ. Above all else. And let us never ever forget, that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. And that we are all in desperate need of His grace. And that none of us is exempt.”
I don't remove names. If I quote a theologian or philosopher in my writing and research, I use the name for to not is to employ an every larger unproductive (and pretentious) colorblind attitude. Let the names evoke their fullness of scholarly work, personal life, sins foibles, etc.
Amen. All have sin and fall short of the glory of God. We all are guilty and desperately need the blood of Jesus Christ. There should not be a wall between us because we all lived in this depraved world. The world need the truth of gospel. Thank you Dr. Baucham for your teaching.
Along with the Apostle Paul, I can say that this message gives me new hope and love and pride for my People...Scots and Spaniards. And it also confirms (as Voddie has done for about a decade for me) that his work grows steadily more wise and cogent, even as he has always seasoned his words with grace. Brilliant brother.
You are truly a pastor. In the essential meaning of the word. Thank you. I have set a goal of sharing on FB the things that I am watching. I will be sharing this, because above all the rhetoric and politics, this message is the most important one we all need to hear, absorb, and act out in the love of God.
I was told by my church of 8 years that I couldn't sing on the praise and worship team because they needed a Black female singer this is a very large church in CT thank you Voddie Baucham I needed to hear this from you!
Having someone say "You could have a basketball team". I have 5 kids and my girls are tall and blonde - people say that to us all of the time. The truth is "Peoples hearts are the truth" I see what he means about being color blind - True, I am not color blind but I look at someones heart not the color of their skin. This is an important message here in 2020
I saw this escalate rapidly in 2007-2008. I had people ask me why I hate black people when I said I wasn’t voting for Obama. Id try to explain that I disagreed with him on nearly everything. I could vote for Dr Carson in a minute. All of this is exactly cultural marxism, and many blacks are convinced that most whites are racist. Truth be told, it’s a very small group. I’ve seen racism. I grew up in the 60’s and I’ve traveled a lot. All over this country. It’s tragic how easily they’ve divided us.
El Chapito you are a sad case. Do you know Nina personally to determine your outcome of her? You are the exact person that this pastor is talking about . 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️

@Nelson's Rudolph, Are you sure it's not hype? The people responsible have been arrested and are being prosecuted for murder. What's your concept of justice, and why are we still setting things on fire in major cities?
Nelson's Rudolph I thought it was innocent until proven guilty......Strange that you are the judge and jury on this case. But let me guess, all of the rioters, who destroyed millions of dollars worth of property and killed people, they are innocent, right? Looks like you are the racist.
George Floyd hype? Look into your heart sir. A man was killed in the most brutal and inhuman way and millions all over the world were rightly outraged. And all you see is hype? God help us if you are the witness of Jesus to a lost generation.
@@Str20ng I think you misunderstood my comment. I think its disgusting what happened to Floyd and those officers deserve justice. However, to make him a martyr for racism is crazy. We don't even know if racism was the motivating factor behind the murder. Floyd wasn't a good man either, he was a career criminal and had previously held a gun at a pregnant women's belly! To depict him as a noble martyr is crazy. God help us if the church is getting behind this political movement that is built upon so much confusion. Its this that damages our witness.
@givenemTruth Son sir please stop emoting at me. Its amazing how you can quote one peice of a sentence i said completely out of context. Please read the rest of my comments. My statement is in know way racist. I'm not even sure racism was the motivating factor behind the murder. It amazes me how you can quote one peice of a sentence i said completely out of context. Please do righteous judgement, stop slandering me, making assumptions about me and name calling. Please judge based on truth and not falsehoods, and have a little grace. Racism is hatred against neighbor and deserves God's judgement, along with every other sin. God bless you.
This message could've been given this past Sunday morning. It's from March 2019! This is nothing new. It's just coming to fruition now. PREACH, Dr. Baucham!
So thankful I got to listen to this message as I try to think through and seek wisdom going through so much division and brokenness in America right now. Thank you so much
I have now decided that Dr. Voddie is my pastor my rabbi. He is my teacher. He gives me strength to learn more away from him and learn more from his knowledge. Why things like this are not on the evening news I don't know, the world is evil turn to god.
Beautiful message. Much needed. I feel the world is trying to make us all the same and I think God wants us to all be different and beautiful and still love one another. We should all embrace our heritage. And love each other in Christ and all colors. He’s so right about the ditches. And we must always be alert to our thought and words.
Great & timely message! It's suddening to see such a blessing being used as a curse & subject for such schism. Most people obsessed with ethnic fanaticism got major underlying personal miseries they want to hide or refuse to accept & they use ethnic or race schism as cage.
What a great term to coin. At first I was confused but it makes so much sense! The hidden knowledge of subconscious intent based off of skin color. Wow!
You are one brave man of God. I actually felt kinda concerned because I know alot of people within in you but the true seekers God will receive it with the love in which was giving us. Thank you sir.
Thank you for this...my heart is so full from it, the truth is so precious. During these riots today, this means everything. May ALL hearts come to these realizations. God bless you.
Voddie your precious and bold in your proclaiming Truth. I value your teachings so much. Losing Ravi, just made me realize how important it is to encourage and thank those impacting my one little life. Please keep teaching and preaching 🙏.

Convicted and challenged and encouraged and humbled and loved by my King ...and I desire to be fruitful for His glory for He is so worthy of all of me because He died and shed His blood for all of me... praise Lord Jesus
Biblically true, he doesn't use the bible as a tool to put others in their place, but he puts himself in his place and shows you what spiritual fruit is.
The only thing I disagree with is that he says women can't be preachers. I think God would not discriminate like that in this day and age. I understand that when the bible was written that was the writers' belief.
@@rosemariesullivansandman699 Hello. I Just read your comment and felt the need to respond. The things is that the people who wrote the Bible were divinely inspired and so it was actually written by God through men (the authors) hence the supreme authority of the scriptures as testaments to the triune God and its absolute truth. Women cannot be pastors because that is the order that God ordained for His Church. John Piper once said something that I found helpful on this topic, he was asked about people listening to Beth Moore and other female 'pastors' and he said that dependance on a female to be your shepherd and that of a local Church at large (which the office of pastorate is, the shepherd of that particular flock or congregation) is what is forbidden, hence women cannot be that. I don't listen to Beth Moore etc, but I think it's possible that you can learn biblically sound teachings from whatever they teach, the caution is to not let her become your pastor /shepherd (and the fact that they choose to defy what is plainly written in scripture is reason to just be generally wary of an of their sermons in my opinion). Women can (and even should) be teachers of the Bible, speakers at conferences etc. They can teach the Bible and preach the gospel (in his context, to large groups of people for example), but they cannot occupy the office of pastor in the Church, as well as elder and deacon. All ordained by God. The world would wish to look at this as God probably looking down on women in some way simply because of this restriction but we, knowing our God is good, know that this is not true and His will is for our good and His glory. 🙂
How refreshing is this message! For once, UA-cam suggestions got it right! I can’t wait to watch more of his recent videos and learn about his ministries 💕

I’m a white guy married to a beautiful black girl listening to this in the midst of riots and chaos, trying to figure out how to best guide and lead and protect my family. This was an answer to prayer. One of my favourite preachers delivering a God-Centered message.
Voddie gives me hope that calmer heads will prevail.
your marriage is an amazing testimony...all marriages are, if allowed to testify...but yours is special and i pray blessings on you and your wife as you lead by example. Your love is powerful. Fight (in the spirit) to protect your unity, your love...thanking God for your story. but please remember, not all will honor, approve, understand...What God has done, let no man put asunder. praying for you.
I'm a Latino married to a black woman and I am in the same boat brother

Sorry for the rant but I'm beginning to feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day
My only regret is only being able to give one like.
Agre completely
Here after watching the 2020 riots so I can a Gospel perspective on this issue.
Amen!
Amen.
Found this today in the midst of all the racial division we are currently experiencing. Thank you for this message brother!
felt the same thing.
I'm in the same boat. What a godly preacher with a word that needs to be heard.
I love Voddie Baucham. I saw him preach at a homeschooling conference years ago. Strong man of God. America needs his message.
Same. This took my breath away and filled me with cleansing tears!!
Yup. HonestYouthPastor on Instagram brought me here.
Great Message, Great Preacher
Ethnic Gnosticism!!!

Good to know there people standing out there for truth...🙋🏻♀️
Hang in there brother, you have a unique and blessed role to play! Peace!
I am sorry to hear that. Prayers go out for you.
Stay strong, brother. I'd much rather share the same Savior with someone than the same skin color.
We all do. That's what the gospel is about. Continual repentance and growing in God's grace.
I don't agree with him.
THIS is the message our churches need to be sending from the pulpits! The modern church is being changed by the culture far more than it is working as a change agent for the culture.
So well said!!!
This guy jalways cuts a straight path to the truth. In this case, where whites are wrong, he says it clearly and unapologetically. Where blacks are wrong he does just the same. I am convinced that this man is a Believer first and foremost.
How are whites wrong?
Eric_ Martindale I asked because you said “in this case whites are wrong “. What do you mean by that?
Eric_ Martindale It was a simple question of valid question. It sounds like you have a lot of ideology in your mind. To be able to assume so much from such a small question
1. “In this case”: Speaking of this sermon exactly. 2. “where whites are wrong: When white people invoke tokenism or succumb to a false sense of race-related guilt (if you actually watched the sermon). 3. “When blacks are wrong”: When black people claim sole authority over all things racism. ...although this one didn’t seem to bother you.
This man is gifted beyond words. He's sold out to Christ and God's precious word. I appreciate his views. Everyone should hear this.
He knows what it is...he just ain't buying into it.
Thank you for being a source of common sense in this crazy world we live in. God bless you Voddie!
Dr. Baucham is Awesome! I wish he would come out and speak now during the time of protests and riots! Everyone could benefit!
As an African man I bless God for Voddie.
This makes you rethink your whole understanding of affirmative action:
“Because of the color of your skin, that makes you a weaker brother and we have to lower the standards for you”
That’s straight racism.
This is professional grade wisdom, humility and discernment!
That doesn't mean you can't be a racist,
Why does he have to mention that "we need to speak the truth in love.
When our Lord was on the cross, He said "forgive them Father."
Like I said, black or white or anything in between, if you are racist, you should be ashamed.
I the meantime, I would like to make two points:

Love listening to Voddie. He is such a tremendous blessing from God.

Wow. This is from last year and here we are in 2020.. this is such a powerful message! Thank you sir!
How dare he teach the hard teachings of Jesus and remind me of my own sin and that love means I have to be patient and endure all things!
lol...yes, how dare he
Just discovered Dr.

What he said about “quoting men” is so true, that’s why I often remove names, and will say “Another scholar said…” Or “One commentary reads…” Or “One Theologian said this…”
Christians - especially now with social media, it is terribly easy to get entangled into this, from either side that we may be on.
Possibly the Greatest Preacher of the GOSPEL I’ve heard in a long time!!! This man has a great gift, cannot say enough good words about him!
You are truly a pastor. In the essential meaning of the word. Thank you.
I have set a goal of sharing on FB the things that I am watching. I will be sharing this, because above all the rhetoric and politics, this message is the most important one we all need to hear, absorb, and act out in the love of God.

Grace and mercy, love and patience! This is a presentation that should spark discussion in all churches. Amen!
How refreshing is this message! For once, UA-cam suggestions got it right! I can’t wait to watch more of his recent videos and learn about his ministries 💕
Same here, even though I am Jewish I love every word that comes out with passion and from his heart G-d bless you Voddie!
And I have listened and loved many of your message"s in the passed. God bless you and your ministry 🙏
Thank you Jesus!!! Amen and Amen!! I now have the words to rebutt some of this stuff that I knew was wrong but could not see why in particular. Thank you Lord. And I mean from fellow black people, there's repentance to go around. Always repentance to go around! The cross says kneel yo!
Voddie fits all of the image that one might have of a Titan both in physical and intellectual dominance. When I see, listen and read this man’s work, I celebrate the sovereignty of God. A giant among men theologically. May God bless him, his family, and his ministry. Multiply is Lord! We need more men like him in today’s world!
