I'm 28 and recently graduated with my bachelor's in biological Sciences. Being a Christian girl in college was NO joke, especially in my field. Constant blasphemy left and right and alot of it directed at me. By the grace of God I made it through all of that unscathed by listening to pastors like this. ❤

You believe a false gospel. Voddie doesn't teach the gospel. The gospel means “good news”. The gospel is the proclamation of who Jesus is and what He did for His elect only. The entire Bible (Old testament and New Testament) foreshadows and proclaims who Jesus is and what He did for His elect only (John 5:39, Luke 24:44).
Jesus is the Son of God (John 3:16), fully God and fully man (John 1:1 & 1:14) and second person in the Trinity (Matthew 3:16-17).
The gospel is God’s testimony concerning Jesus as revealed in the Holy Scriptures by the Holy Spirit which proclaims how Jesus the Christ (John 1:41, Matthew 16:16) was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:23) and born under the law to redeem His elect who were under the law and save His elect from their sins (Matthew 1:21, Galatians 4:4).
God’s elect /sheep are the people past, present and future from every tribe, tongue and nation God actively chose to redeem/ justify/save based on Christ. God chose in Christ before the foundation of the world was laid according to the good pleasure of His will for His glory (Revelations 5:9, Ephesians 1:4-5). God actively created and chose a people from every tribe, tongue and nation before they were born for salvation whom God has always loved because of Christ and only Christ (Romans 8). God’s elect are vessels of mercy prepared beforehand for glory to make known the riches of His glory (Romans 9). God’s elect/sheep are God’s chosen vessels of mercy that are Jews and Gentiles because of Christ. (John 10, Romans 9:23-26, Hosea 2:23)
God is Holy (Isaiah 6:3). God’s law is holy and good (Romans 7:12). The law of God demands perfection in word, thought, and deed at all times (James 2:10). The law was given through Moses (John 1:17). The law condemned all mankind and brought knowledge of sin (Romans 3:19-20). All people are under sin and none are righteous (Romans 3:9-18). Sin entered the world through Adam and death through sin and death spread to all mankind because all sinned. (Romans 5:12-13).
Jesus Christ is the Passover lamb without blemish (1 Peter 1:19) for His elect by God’s sovereign grace (1 Corinthians 5:7). Just as the Israelites were released from Egypt after the death of the firstborn (Exodus 11-13) - Jesus Christ the firstborn of all creation (Colossians 1:15) justified all His elect at the cross from the wrath of God(Romans 5:9-11). Jesus willingly went to the cross (Philippians 2:8) and offered one sacrifice for all time for His elect He sanctified (Hebrews 10:11-14) as their representative and High priest. Jesus was crucified for the elect’s sin and raised for their justification (Romans 4:25). It pleased God the Father to crush His only begotten Son( Isaiah 53:10) and God the Father accepted Jesus’ perfect sacrifice on behalf of His sheep( Acts 2:23) . Jesus paid His elect’s sin debt and there is now no condemnation for those who are married to Christ (Romans 7-8).
By Christ’s knowledge He justified all His elect (Isaiah 53:11) and finished His mission (John 19:30). All of God’s sheep will believe God’s testimony concerning Christ because Jesus justified them by His perfect sacrifice on the cross. Not one sheep Jesus died for will perish. Jesus is the good shepherd. Faith(believing God’s testimony concerning Jesus) is the fruit of what Jesus accomplished for His sheep. God’s sheep are righteous before God by the imputed righteousness of Christ provided at the cross as prophesied in Psalm 32 and fulfilled in John 19. All Jesus died for are regenerated at God’s appointed time to believe God’s testimony concerning Christ on who Christ is and what He did at the cross( Acts 13:48).

The ‘good news’ is that you can repent and be saved! But what Voddie preaches is spot on!
@Mark 1:15 I don't think you have heard voddie preach much. You may have a problem with the founders organization, but after reading 2 paragraphs of what you sent, I have heard Voddie use the Word to argue both points. You may want to do a little more research into Voddie.
His church is in Africa. He is Dean of the School of Divinity at African Christian University in Lusaka, Zambia. However he's written many books and much of his teaching and preaching can be found online. He mixes apologetics with his preaching and is spot on about today's culture. Before you listen to anyone saying he compromises the Gospel listen/watch/read what Voddie says for yourself.

The depravity of man knows no bonds.
As a result of this sermon, I re-read Ephesians 5 v 8. For years, I had read the text as "you were IN darkness", when it actually says "you WERE darkness". While this may seem minor for some, for me, this helped me to understand Psalms 51:5 in a new way. Without Christ as our light, we ARE darkness, will live in darkness, and can only produce darkness.

@breadandcircuses8127 God’s word says that we are called out of darkness into his marvellous light. Not only does scripture reveal what happens in darkness, but we can also reflect on the darkness in our lives. Our sin nature, and what has led us to do.

I have been studying the Bible for 29 years and I teach the Bible , I am hearing this for the first time and shocked . I am glad I always believe we will never ever stop learning and we do not know it all .

I’ve been aware of Kinseys approach to the sexual evolution hypothesis but as a Survivor of Childhood Grooming and sexual abuse for children with Special Needs ie Epilepsy this actually makes me feel quite sick I was 11 going onto 12 into 13 the Trauma never left me and I am just turned 60 now I forgave him eventually but the nightmares never fade or go away everyone who’s ever shamed or abused me have been forgiven by the grace of God and our Lord Jesus Christ because life’s too short to live with hatred in your heart so I asked God to remove the heart of stone and make it flesh so that I am able to feel again praise Jesus Christ Amen

Submission and oppression are two different things, submitting to your husband should come naturally from a place of love its not something that is forced upon you. Dont let the world lie to you. Your husband is not the head to oppress you but to protect you and you are hes helper and a helper is not slave remember helper is the same name given to the Holy spirit. The gospel is God’s testimony concerning Jesus as revealed in the Holy Scriptures by the Holy Spirit which proclaims how Jesus the Christ (John 1:41, Matthew 16:16) was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:23) and born under the law to redeem His elect who were under the law and save His elect from their sins (Matthew 1:21, Galatians 4:4).
God’s elect /sheep are the people past, present and future from every tribe, tongue and nation God actively chose to redeem/ justify/save based on Christ. God chose in Christ before the foundation of the world was laid according to the good pleasure of His will for His glory (Revelations 5:9, Ephesians 1:4-5). God actively created and chose a people from every tribe, tongue and nation before they were born for salvation whom God has always loved because of Christ and only Christ (Romans 8). God’s elect are vessels of mercy prepared beforehand for glory to make known the riches of His glory (Romans 9). God’s elect/sheep are God’s chosen vessels of mercy that are Jews and Gentiles because of Christ. (John 10, Romans 9:23-26, Hosea 2:23)
God is Holy (Isaiah 6:3). God’s law is holy and good (Romans 7:12). The law of God demands perfection in word, thought, and deed at all times (James 2:10). The law was given through Moses (John 1:17). The law condemned all mankind and brought knowledge of sin (Romans 3:19-20). All people are under sin and none are righteous (Romans 3:9-18). Sin entered the world through Adam and death through sin and death spread to all mankind because all sinned. (Romans 5:12-13).
Jesus Christ is the Passover lamb without blemish (1 Peter 1:19) for His elect by God’s sovereign grace (1 Corinthians 5:7). Just as the Israelites were released from Egypt after the death of the firstborn (Exodus 11-13) - Jesus Christ the firstborn of all creation (Colossians 1:15) justified all His elect at the cross from the wrath of God(Romans 5:9-11). Jesus willingly went to the cross (Philippians 2:8) and offered one sacrifice for all time for His elect He sanctified (Hebrews 10:11-14) as their representative and High priest. Jesus was crucified for the elect’s sin and raised for their justification (Romans 4:25). It pleased God the Father to crush His only begotten Son( Isaiah 53:10) and God the Father accepted Jesus’ perfect sacrifice on behalf of His sheep( Acts 2:23) . Jesus paid His elect’s sin debt and there is now no condemnation for those who are married to Christ (Romans 7-8).
By Christ’s knowledge He justified all His elect (Isaiah 53:11) and finished His mission (John 19:30). All of God’s sheep will believe God’s testimony concerning Christ because Jesus justified them by His perfect sacrifice on the cross. Not one sheep Jesus died for will perish. Jesus is the good shepherd. Faith(believing God’s testimony concerning Jesus) is the fruit of what Jesus accomplished for His sheep. God’s sheep are righteous before God by the imputed righteousness of Christ provided at the cross as prophesied in Psalm 32 and fulfilled in John 19. All Jesus died for are regenerated at God’s appointed time to believe God’s testimony concerning Christ on who Christ is and what He did at the cross( Acts 13:48).

Yes, we black grandmothers saw this coming back in the eighties and when sending our children to college. Unfortunately, politics has taken this to the extreme and has separated adult children from their parents.

I truly believe it's nothing short of child abuse, the indoctrination they are instilling in Our children. For their own pursuit of political power, they are willing to force a whole generation of children to believe they are victims, that they can't succeed, can't achieve their goals, that they aren't good enough & that their neighbors hate them. The best way to fight this evil is to lead as many people to Christ as possible, and also to educate people. If "our people perished from lack of knowledge " then we the body of Christ must be educated and spread the truth.
You don't lead people to Christ. They hear the truth and respond to the truth by faith in God, repenting and asking God for forgiveness and cleansed by the blood.

PRAYER REQUEST Bro and sis please pray for my sister who is in University she was kicked out of most her classes for her Christian beliefs and what should have been her 3 year of Uni has turned into her first year she has been fighting for her beliefs for years, and because she was kicked out. She didn’t get all of her credits and so she’s technically on her 1 st year despite being at the same university for four years now she is really discouraged because she should’ve already graduated. Please pray for her.!
I hope her situation is sorted now. May the Lord continue to strengthen her beyond her understanding

In 1970 I took a Psychology 101 course that dealt with Kinsey. He was a small little pervert who was held in the highest regard by academia. Today's world has been in the planning stages for many a long decade ... it didn't just happen. It's going to take God's people, coming together to put Satan behind us once again. Do you put Sunday as the most important day of your week? Do you make sure that Church on Sunday IS your work ... your job ... your responsibility.
