Im from the Philippines which is very close to Thailand and this is also something that you can see everyday in the streets. I was surprised to see so many views and comments in this videoappreciating their cutting skills and it made me realize that I shouldn't take this for granted! Shouldn't have complained about not having blueberries, raspberries here when I can get coconuts, sliced watermelon, papaya, and pineapple for less than a dollar here practically any day 😅

Realmente, lá existem frutas diferentes das daqui. Por exemplo o Durian, que é parecido com a jaca e tem um cheiro muito forte, mas é uma delícia. O gosto do Coco verde não é tão saboroso quanto o nosso.

Im from the Philippines which is very close to Thailand and this is also something that you can see everyday in the streets. I was surprised to see so many views and comments in this videoappreciating their cutting skills and it made me realize that I shouldn't take this for granted! Shouldn't have complained about not having blueberries, raspberries here when I can get coconuts, sliced watermelon, papaya, and pineapple for less than a dollar here practically any day 😅
Ugh! Papaya is sooo hard to find, so I envy you!

For those who have never eaten the fruits shown, the coconut meat is soft full if flavor, easy to chew. Pineapples are sugar sweet, nothing like the unripe fruit sold in the grocery stores. Dozens of different mangos, fruits never seen any where else.
Philippines also has fantastic street food, especially fruit!

However, there remains many outside of those tropical regions who have never even seen a coconut or a fresh pineapple. Those living in or near bigger cities have higher probabilities of finding fruits canned like pineapple.
As stated in my original comment; " for those who have never... I attempt to describe the experience of eating a couple of those fruits shown in the video.
It's a remarkable thing, the life changing experience traveling to far away places can bring. The realization how different things are.

On my visit to Thailand the street food in Bangkok was unbelievable. Everything was prepared in front of you and the quality was excellent. I ate nothing but street food in Bangkok for 2 weeks. I hated to leave!
