The fact Sweet never even gave CJ credit for destroying the loco syndicate (which he def would’ve heard about even in prison) and says he did “nothing” for the hood is still wild to me. Sweets leaderships what really did “nothing” for the hood and let the Ballas take over with crack to start with.
@@eaglefangkaratedojo7473 Sweet is a hypocrite. I'll give him his flowers, though as narrow-minded and immature as he is, he is old-school, loyal and incorruptible, but he was the reason for the downfall of why Grove Street split and lost influence. Sweet was passive, and even in an unused conversation between CJ and Big Bear, Bear reveals that it's because of Sweet not because of CJ's disappearance and for Sweet to attack CJ for having priorities unrelated to the hood and compare CJ to Smoke is atrocious. He even admitted in the mission "Reuniting The Families" that CJ solo brung Grove Street back up single-handedly. Yeah, he defends CJ should anyone put him down, but that's more his big brother instinct than anything, I think, as he still continued to give CJ a hard time. CJ, just like Victor who used his brain, Sweet is like Lance, who used his brawn but acted impulsive.
CJ had to get away from everything to finally get some peace in his life from his childhood grief, misery, and the pressure Sweet, his family, and gang put on him. The death of Brian was just the tip of the iceberg which caused him to leave or get kicked out of Los Santos and live in Liberty City temporarily, and with the death of his mom, Beverly, on top of the constant disrespect he was given was enough to be the tipping point for CJ to prove his loyalty and show that he's not a coward or a busta. Mans deserves better and never gets any credit, respect, acknowledgement, or recognition for his selflessness, loyalty, or hardships. Bro is definitely a well-written three-dimensional protagonist who had to prove himself and atone for his show of "cowardice" when he clearly did more for everyone then he was shown or given and didn't ask for anything in return. I most definitely relate and identify with CJ.
True, he has always been underappreciated by the people closest to him. It's very good that he met Woozie tho, he was the one to show CJ the appreciation he deserved
@@SebaInit True, plus Kendl, Cesar, Woozie, Denise, Millie, Ken, Kent, Maccer, and Madd Dogg are the only ones to ever show unconditional love and/or appreciation towards CJ. Off topic, but I also believe characters like Tommy, Mercedes, Candy, Asuka, Maria, Kenji, 8 Ball, Victor, Louise and possibly even Catalina and Salvatore would've shown that to him too, given how unappreciated but popular CJ is.
Great video Sweet was a bad leader, its why that many underlings decided to betray, without doing anything or any objectives its anarchy inside the organization.
@@SebaInit tbh i dunno why Bdup has any fans he is a backstabbing bastard who betrayed his gang brothers, if some says he is pragmatic, i am a pragmatic, and would use it to help the gang as possible, not to use for my own personnal gains, with risk to be blasted like most snitches ended, in which world he thinked he would work when he knows how the OGs are strong in GSF, especially CJ, who did so many things and crushed the Ballas before and after Smoke betrayal.
Yeah, it don't make sense cos then how come Cj didn't know his father, right? I'm aware of it, that is a plothole in GTA SA, but that is what it says in the magazine so you know.

Thank you ;d Yes, people like B Dup, Big Bear, Ryder and Smoke didn't like how the gang was run and it resulted in them turnin their backs on Sweet

@@mermils yeah I mean I didnt know that B Dup had 'fans' but imo he is a money-driven selfish pussio
It’s no way he was only ten that doesn’t make sense
He wasn't the target, just like cj's mom
