I've owned all trucks and had to work them hard and maintain them. We've run an h2 in the northern salt winter's for almost 20 years and its the most well made vehicle I've ever had. People always shizzing on the h2 but own one, use it for what it was built for, and recognize its uniqueness, then you'll see its a serious amazing American machine.
Original owner of a black-on-black 2009 with both Adventure package and Luxury packages. Added some aftermarket wheels and tires, wrapped the bottom half with red vinyl, installed some torsion bar lift keys and have had no problems for the 100,000 I've driven it. Still get thumbs up and compliments. Haven't sold/traded it in because I can't identify anything I'd rather drive.
The alpha trim with the adventure package had front and real locking differentials. Absolutely unheard of for the time that these trucks were built. Not many of those made. That is the rarest unicorn of all Hummers.
You gotta drive the Alpha version it’s the V8 5.3L engine then you know what a H3T is man, that truck was ahead of the game and went down cause gas prices smh 🤦♂️ lol. Look at the door mirrors chevy trucks barely started doing that and if you look at where they used to be there is just a black triangle covering space lol. This is my second H3t and I love them. Great video by the way.
Decent video. That truck isn't much above a base model. The two blank buttons are used by options on other trim levels. Maybe a little less of your personal opinion of GM in future videos.
theirs one thing about a hummer, you get in a crash your gonna absolutly destroy someone elses car before u get a single dent, my grandpas h2 got rear ended the gmc yukon was totaled whole front end demolished, his back bumper had a single scratch that rubbed out and his license plate holder cracked.
OK, even though we seen to agree that H2's were pretty atrocious I would still love to see you do a review of one. Granted, due to gas prices it might be hard to find one still out there 😁
the blanks on the dash are for accessory lighting you could have dealer added. i think your reluctance to say you like the truck is due to h2 derangement syndrome. this is where you base your opinion on all hummers by the general consensus of opinion of solely the h2. just say what you really think without connecting it to hummer at all. not the h2 or even the h3 suv. its its own truck. pretend its a chevy if it helps.
Geo and Saturn suck in all ways, bad drive bad parts bad paint. Find a 20 plus year old geo or Saturn with that many miles that look that good. It’s an off-road truck/ suv build and more comparable to a jeep. H3 and H3T are some of the best that GM had to offer. Jeep just made the truck tho… took em long enough. Bad review on the overall but the resale price on H3T speaks for itself.
8:10 i like how the seat controls aren’t even accessible anymore without sticking your finger in there and wiggling it around! GM quality has always been dog shit thats why they break down every other month!
I had no idea these were that rare. I like the proportions, very Jeep Gladiator or Defender 130-ish. The H1 and H3T are the only Hummers I'll give a pass to because they're actually good at what they do, gas mileage and build quality not included. The H3 is meh and I can't believe all the H2s weren't scrapped when gas hit $4/gal. H2s have no redeeming qualities. And the image of the stereotypical H2 driver! Stereotypes come from somewhere!
Geez - You must be somewhat manly to drive one - You see better fit for the comforts of a Honda Civic. You're reviewing a truck that you are not equipped to give your opinion - Like if I were to review a set of High Heals and then complain that they were tight and my toes were squished. Lol.
I have a 2009 h3t alpha with adventure package, one of the best trucks I’ve ever owned
I did not know they made a pick up truck version of the hummer H3 it looks so cool
At least there's no turbo to worry about . The engine should be the best part . Didn't mention pretty sure they rev happy and sound good

And came with the 5.3 V8
I actually have one. Solar flare with matching snug top
@@lancenovak1931 I have a 09 h3T alpha with the adventure pack as well , I would kill to have your snug top!!

The V8 version of this is so cool
This looks better built than the H2 before it.
The value is in the eye of the beholder.
some eyes need glasses
I WOULD LOVE TO BUY AN OLDER ONE. AND USE CURRENT TECHNOLOGY TO MAKE SOME UPGRADES.

It's in good shape because it was taken care of. I've seen lower mileage cars that look like trash.
GREAT VIDEO AND EDUCATION. THANKS FOR SHARING.

The H3T is NOT full time 4X4. It is AWD unless you shift it into 4WD.
THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Looks to be in great shape for that many miles
Yes my dad owned a h2 and it’s was gray and it was as a great car
10:57 Make a list of GM product mileage compared to age
wow, I never knew this existed!

So weird but now I want one. Prices Kinna high tho
Can anyone help with the name of the part that’s right under the left taillight
That is beautiful I bet the gas is trash though
These are super rare

the front grill looks like a JEEP.
Judging from this individuals voice, I assume that he is not an outdoorsman nor is he an explorer. So therefore this would be a moot review.
That a jeep pick up truck

Big guys don’t do well with the interior 😂
