Is using these router bits safe when relying on the ball bearing on the router bits instead of the router fence? I am making an S-curved bottom stile and an S-curved top stile for wainscoting in a stairwell. It’s a big router bit, and the stiles are only 3", thus the question.
Thanks for asking! The plate is not from Woodpecker but is a private label manufacture, made to Infinity's exacting specifications. C.N.C. machined from premium 6061 aluminum, it is guaranteed flat to within .005" across its surface.

@@InfinityTools thanks for the reply, I bought Infinity Tools Aluminum Router Table Insert Plate to replace my Kreg plastic insert plate for triton last night. The Kreg plate is 1/32" higher than the red plastic insert ring. I bought the Kreg version to replace a bosch router table combo. I don't understand why most company can't give their customer a flat surface. It's not rocket science. Hopefully infinity version can perform much better.

Is it possible to use this technique on thicker framing like windows or doors that need a minimum 16mm to max 26mm rebate for double glazed IGU's, (Insulated Glass Units)?
