It would have been cool to mention how Dark Sister ended up at the bottom of a certain lake for a time, but that would have been a huge spoiler for HotD.
That is the moment I am waiting to see in the show. It's like jump and stab and everyone dies! Such fun!

@@GeniusChazz444 bran was literally not in season 5 because the show writers meant that his story and arc would be far ahead of the other characters… 🤦🏿♂️😂 so instead of giving us more of his powers and brynden rivers, they gave us the horrible dorne plot, tyrion being a stupid gimp and littlefinger selling Sansa to the boltons… 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️😭

I really kinda hope they show that a few houses actually had Valyrian steel in the HotD era- not just the Targaryens & Starks; House Corbray has Lady Forlorn, & House Royce has Vigilance- & that there were even a couple of Valyrian steel duels in the war...
People suspect that Arya will be the next wielder of Dark Sister. I feel that would be inappropriate considering the shoes she would have to fill how much grander than what a displaced heiress to Winterfell and faceless man in training could ever amount to

I agree. Dark Sister has always been wielded by Targaryen warriors. it would not make sense for it to be passed down to Arya. There’s no connection there.
Since Dark Sister is one of grrm’s chekov’s gun. Imo, DS would help push Jon’s legitimacy & cement his identity as a true Targaryen.

@@danbauer3669 come to Texas be willing to start @$14.50 per hour while assisting/training for no longer than 1year because I don't have apprenticeships with people who are not willing to learn and then go full on their own. I've had seven apprentices how to probably a dozen that ended up going full on and every time I have a successful apprentice that goes on stays with the company I get a raise for that so I don't play around with my money lol

Also, Blackfyre is a "Bastard Sword", it's hilt is more of a "One and a Half-Handed Sword". You can hold it with one or two hands, though with two hands it may be a tight fit, albeit still possible. Or something like that.

Tbf it says that Dark Sister is 1200 mm long, which is pretty normal length for a longsword, so its not that small
It's not about its length, it has a thin blade, not thin enough to be a rapier but not wide enough to be a longsword.

Why didn’t Aegon the unlikely ask Brynden to give dark sister back to house Targaryen?
It was bestowed on him by Daeron the Good. It was Bloodraven by right
You cant do that, it was given to him by his brother Daeron, you cant just take it back when it was a gift, that is like Viserys asking Daemin to give him back Dark sister when it was gifted to him by Jaehearys.
Technically he would have, if anyone else he knew of was able to use it, but old Duncan the Tall was not suitable for such a blade, and the king himself had seen far too much bloodshed at this point to be willing to use the sword.
Here’s a question , all who read this comment , which character in ASOIAF in your opinion has the bestest legacy , me personally I pick Aegon because of his conquest and the impact it had on the centuries that followed !
Jaeherys definitely over aegon, aegon might have conquered the 7 kingdoms, but jaeherys truly turned them into one

@@user-io5mt1hf5g well yes, of course, but not just Aegon, him his half brother, and his 2 sisters, whos children absolutely destroyed the realm, and plunged it into chaos, if we are talking about legacy, jaeherys' legacy is still felt in the world at the time the books take place, before the old king, it was just 7 kingdoms that got conquered, he shaped them into one singular realm, the realm we see in asoiaf is the realm jaeherys built, not aegon, the seven kingdoms weren't the seven kingdoms until jaeherys, aegon is by far one of the most important characters in this universe, but what we see in the books we read was formed in the old kings reign

Jaeherys lead to the Dance Of The Dragons when he allowed Viserys to become King tho he was forced into doing that ! Aegon was and is playing a big part in the fight against the White Walkers according to Martin !
@@user-io5mt1hf5g Jaeherys led to the dance in the same way the invention airplanes led to 911, he held a great council, in hopes to completely avoid a dance, wasnt his fault most of his children died, Jaeherys did everything for a stable realm, the roads and laws he put into place are still standing today (in terms of the book series) I honestly doubt the iron throne would even be a thing without all the things jaeherys did, again, yes, Aegon is a highly important character in this universe, but in terms of legacy, Jaeherys takes the cake, at least in my opinion, and i respect yours, just wanted to give my 2 cents

These stories and histories are biased perspectives of the in world authors. GRRM is clear on this, nothing is "true", its all perspective.
