I have been using the cumulus 25 for 10 months i tried the cumulus 26 today much more firmer ride its more of a rocker then 25s it feels very different then overall
Cumulus 26 vs nimbis 25 for everyday walking / dog walks an gym working out mostly upper body in them maybe elliptical or bike n possibly runs once rainy season here is over in pnw. im 6'3. 250 lbs
Great review! Just a comment, u are telling that the new version is lighter by half an ounce but converting the value in grams, u write more weight in grams for the new cumulus! 😉
It's my go to running shoe in general but I have my issues with the 25: The outsole is too soft and has no stability at all compared to earlier models. After an hour it's like you're running on a muddy ground constantly sinking in. Worsed thing was the heel though: I don't know what it's doing but I got pain which I had never before and no other shoe does to me. I really hope the new heel area isn't like that anymore. I can't even put the finger down to the exact reason.
Hi Ryan Thank you for the review I moved away from carbon plates for now Would you recommend this shoe for tempo runs and race day...? Pace for race day for me 5:10 per km for half marathon and doing my first marathon in 2 months
Carbon shoes don't work for me, I did a half marathon last week at 4:54 km, I'm 86kg 188cm and found the novablast 3 Le to be an absolute dream to run in. I think I'm a good weight to really get good bounce out of the the foam, found my calves to be really fresh after the race which is unusual for me (previously used cumulus 24, kayano 29, evoride speed and also glideride 3s for long runs)
Don’t know about that outsole… I feel like if one was to run or step in water the shoe would be slippery everywhere. I don’t think ASICS would want to be responsible for that. Huge liability.
It’s a good looking shoe and I like the rocker!

So does this mean it’s a good upgrade ?
that outsole is like a walking/aerobics shoe :P
Great review. Can’t wait to get mine and put them through the paces. Not sure about the lack of rubber and the durability as a result. Time will tell!

New Cumulus vs. Novablast 4?
Nov 4 ride similar to Cum.25. 26 is an evolution.
Cumulus seems like a great walking shoe, right?!?
It is excellent.
Asics website mentions the weight as 253 grams which is 13 grams less that Asics cumulus 25.
That’s what he said 0.5 ounces half of a ounce = 14.1 grams
Is Novablast 4 or Cumulus 26 better for the Passatore 100Km? 180cm x73kg Time about 10 hours

25 is shit.
They need to make neutral shoes in kayano 25 look and style for everyday wear
