Your close, but spitting out random addresses would take forever, with very low possibility for success. Instead, I think once they've narrowed down your named, they're using data brokers like beenverified to find all the addresses of people for that specific name, and then they're commenting all of those.
Definitely would make a lot more sense. Just pulling a name out of my ass, John Cusack, prob only a few of them within the US.

How to combat this. Block several addresses in multiple different cities and states including yours. Also you can block N, S, E, W, North, South, East, West. You can also block Street, place, road, boulevard, parkway, as well as their abbreviations St, Pl, Rd, Blvd, Pkwy. That should stop that real quick

I feel like the easiest way to combat this outside of just youtube involvement is just not having your personal information in banned words? If some comment bot posts your name who cares and who knows? The only issue this really arises to is small content creators on the off chance someone from their real life finds them and posts their real name and address in the youtube comment section, which is already insanely a low chance of that happening.
And again the validity of said comment how does anyone know that they are speaking truth? They don't, and most people would just brush it off

To avoid getting doxxed, don’t block important info. That’s how they will find you. Bonus you can block fake info to mislead bots

My brother that is the exact OPPOSITE of what you are supposed to do. Literally don't have any personal information such as your NAME in the blocked list. Literally just have nothing. If they do find out your "real name", they won't even know it is your real name because their comment won't get blocked.

What's even the end game here? I don't have any blocked comments other than porn sites and stuff about that one trolling group. If someone I know posts my address, I delete it (hasn't happened yet). If it's a random guessing bot, I leave it alone (for obvious reasons)

I suppose it’s actually fairly easy to defeat these bots, though. If you do want to prevent being doxxed, just put a bunch of decoy names/addresses in your block list as well.

The only solution I can think of to fix this problem is to censor a bunch of random names and addresses, including your own. This would censor some legitimate comments, but it solves the issue where people you know comment your name and address, while giving the bots a bunch of random names and addresses that are impossible to piece together.
The solution is to accept that those word list are public and use them as such.
Only ban your own name If it was already leaked same thing for any other personal data.

The solution to this is not to only block list your address and name, but a ton of other random ones too.

Eventually they will evolve to guess your account details, imagine losing your 1k+ Steam Library just to a lousy bot just miraculously guessing it, or even bank details, it's like a plague these bots.
You might think that narrowing it down to five names isn't that big of a deal, but they can narrow it down more with multiple comments. If they send 10,000 comments with five names each, two of them get blocked, and those two comments only have one name in common, that's the blocked name.

An block list should always be considered inherently public, since the public can interact with it and thus reverse engineers it. Doesn't matter If Google already have your name, only if it's already leaked should you add it to a block list.
I think on this one site you can see the blocked words of any channel
all you have to do is just search up “youtube metadata,” click the “MW metadata,” paste in the channel link, and everything is there, so even putting your info on a block list in the first place is a bad idea
