The best way to butter your corn on the cob, just dunk that bad boy! Forget the rolling or spreading, dunking is by far the superior method in terms of both taste and technique.
@2:32:16, Lane maths is easy. In one direction 4 lane highway comes to junction of another highway. Usually you dedicate 1 lane for exit. So 4 straight lanes turns into 3 straight lanes. Then the new merging traffic is +1 dedicated lane to be your 4 straight lanes again (doing this 4 times total, 2 times for each highway). However if you need 2 lanes to shuttle a major highway to another major highway, then space out when each of those two merging lanes come in. Cities NPCs are hardly perfect as they queue way too early for some interactions. That is where you have to try a fix. (Cities NPCs do also pretty poorly when faced with multiple movement options in a given lane. Rather limiting combined movement options helps NPCs with their early queuing.) After a fix is implemented then observe how the NPCs are navigating before you make any final upgrades. (The other helpful tool is looking at what kind of traffic is using particular roads. Maybe commercial traffic is sharing roads with residential traffic and you can make an earlier exit for the commercial district to reduce the use of a given intersection/interchange.)
Very excited to watch this playthrough with the Emberpelts! Maybe I'll catch the live next time. I'd love for some close-ups on the new crops - apples, tomatoes, peppers.
thinking of other possible uses for the pine resin 🌲 ... do the contamination barriers need pine resin to be produced? 🤔 scuse my ignorance. --- I just got my answer at 1:35:00 contamination barriers just need metal. Maybe it's only the lubricant that pine resin is needed for 🤔

In my opinion, you should ALWAYS have at least one Inventors Hut set to max priority so you always have a slow stream of science points coming in. It's not a lot but it does 100% add up and does make a massive difference.

I mean come on, they couldn't even build a simple Dam early on because they didn't have access to screws because apparently natural beaver dams consisting only of logs strategically placed for structural integrity aren't osha compliant thus they couldn't build them... 100% Osha Beavers for sure!
