What model Gyre is that in the video? And was that not enough flow that you decided to add the ecotech QD?

Thanks for video! What mode and % did you settle on? Are you going to keep it in addition to your gyre? Why did you add it in the first place, since it looked like the gyre was providing so much flow?
Mr. Largo glad you enjoyed it :) I ended up going pulsing. I will run with gyre as I belive the gyre flow is impossible to bead. reason I added this is because the gyre always has the current going same direction. This allows me to mount on opposite and and have more of that random we all look for.

How do u know what mode u are on with out reef link?
So you ended up removing the hood on the cubey. Was interested in it but seems like innovative marine nuvo makes the most sense. No one seems to like the lights on the cubey
baseballhunter42 no I still have it on it. Haven’t removed it. Light is decent but may be adding a prime :)
