Camino de Santiago - Sarria to Santiago - May 2022

In May 2022, I walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain from Sarria to Santiago. This is something I have been wanting to do for years. I travelled through Galicia with my backpack in 5 stages, staying at private albergues along The Way, meeting countless fellow pilgrims, and finding some time to contemplate.

Thanks for posting...I just did this at the end August/early September and because I'm so slow I did a large amount of walking in the dark (latest start was 5:25am). So it's lovely to see some things here that I missed with my head torch!

I walked the Camino Frances in 2023. In my opinion the last 100k is a joke. People were taking cabs and buses along the way to get their required two stamps a day. In other words - cheating. Yet they got a certificate.
