- 29th étape of the Camino Francés from Sarria to Portomarín.
All étapes/videos to Santiago de Compostela are going to be uploaded over the next days and weeks.
After many journeys on the Camino de Santiago in the past ten years, this time the focus lies on the video project. Thus not a lot of stopping and exploring during the étapes (some breaks and encounters are cut out).
COVID-19: Filmed in the summer of 2020 when Spain and the Camino including most albergues were open again for a few weeks after the first lockdown. Masks in all albergues, bars/restaurants and when crossing cities. There will likely never again be as few people on the Camino as in summer of 2020.

I've never seen so few pilgrims after Sarria! Thanks for making me feel a bit 'over there'.
It`s so different like that. Maybe I`ll make a video in the future comparing some parts of the camino when more crowded in 2019 and almost empty in 2020, it makes such a big difference for the experience. Thank you so much for watching!

Hi Furio, thank you again for watching! Sorry the videos don`t come regularly these days, many things to finish before I go to the Camino next week (but I`ll try hard to upload the last few videos to Santiago before I leave).
Yes, I filmed the Camino to Finisterre in 2019 and 2022, will start to upload the episodes after I get back in August. Maybe I`ll start to upload the Caminho Português first and then Finisterre (because the Camino Finisterre was filmed right after the Português 2022). Hopefully I have time to make a small trailer on the coming weekend😄
