The fact that I have been watching Zoe since she was in her early twenties and now she is having her second baby it’s insane 🥰
As a December baby, always make her birthday feel special and not like a continuation of Christmas. My bday is Dec 28, and my mom did a great job of splitting up the celebrations. I always had bday gifts wrapped accordingly, I always chose what we did and ate that day. And she would not allow other family make their gifts be a two for one deal. Because of her, I actually have birthday memories ❤️

I have two December born daughters, 3 years apart.
it's a magical time of the year to have a baby. I remember looking out at the light. from the hospital window and feeling an enormous sense of gratitude. I know for certain they never felt a sense of sharing their birthdays with Christmas.i made sure of it and told other relatives to please differentiate the two separate holidays.
Congratulations both! So excited to watch this second pregnancy journey. I'm a December baby myself (I don't have any children!), pretty close to Christmas (19 December). Something I always really appreciated was my parents making sure my birthday was a clearly SEPARATE celebration to Christmas. Mum made sure I always had birthday wrapping paper - small, but makes a difference. I had a party or a special day that wasn't about Christmas at all etc. It made sure I didn't get lost in the buzz of Christmas and still felt special!

I’m currently 33 weeks with a little boy due in August 🥰 I’ve been very lucky pregnancy symptom wise but like yourself, my anxiety and mental health has suffered a lot. Mainly through the first trimester and now again in the third. I have anxiety anyway but didn’t expect it to be this much of a struggle. It’s reassuring to know I’m not alone! X

I was due 23rd December 22 but I went into early labour and had an emergency c section at 36+3 weeks (28th November is his birthday) and that time of year to have a baby is amazing! It’s so festive and cosy and you can just sit watching Christmas films and having baby snuggles and he’s 7 months now and it’s all the fun stages in the nice weather! 🤍

We had our first (and only so far!) baby girl over Christmas after a lockdown pregnancy, which I agree was a blessing as I was sooo sick everyday for 20 weeks 😂 but Christmas time was so lush to have a baby, the cutest outfits, the nicest food, can finally have a little drink, sofa days with Christmas films! Getting to grips with breastfeeding whilst having my husband off for the two weeks of paternity leave and then an extra two weeks for Christmas. ❤

Huge congratulations! I'm absolutely delighted for you all. I actually found 2-3 the easiest! And my third was a December baby. She was born on Christmas week. It's honestly the most wonderful time to have a baby. Crazy, but wonderful lol!
I had a December baby - 12.12.22 I was due Boxing Day so very glad she decided to arrive 2 weeks early!
It was lovely having people off over Christmas but it did make the visits a little overwhelming at times. This was our first baby so maybe that’s why too!
I do think she came early due to all the endorphins due to Christmas. Because like you I love Christmas. We watched every vlogmas daily when doing feeds! It was a highlight of my day! X

1 to 2 was hard - I have a nearly 6 year old and a nearly 1 year old and it was really hard at first but it got better and now I couldn't imagine life without my 2!

I found it harder from 1 to 2, our first one was an easy beginner baby, second one was much harder and you already have a child to care. Especially the postpartum is harder since you can't really relax, but it really depends on the baby and also your surroundings. My husband found the first pregnancy and postpartum much harder, since it's all new and you don't really know whats going on.

0-1 children is definitely a slower paced adjustment but 1-2 is better in different ways. You already know what it's all about, you know when things will get better soon regarding sleep and feeds. Yes you have to look after two children and try and rest but they will be growing up with baby so as things get easier with the new baby so will they will with terrible twos etc. And then you get to watch the magic that is sibling love. Congratulations!

I'm sure you guys will find so much grace in your transition from 1 kid to 2, you've both made parenting look so easy ever since Ottie was born! I'm a second child and I was always told "if you were my first, I wouldn't have had any more"!!!!!! I had a December baby, was perfect I had a Christmas music playlist and she came out to holly jolly Christmas by Michael buble! Only trouble I had was having anxiety and struggling with noises and big groups, she was born on 20th December so I carried on with the Christmas festivities and it felt a bit much in the moment
My 2 girls have almoust the same age gap your girls are going to have, they are 3,5 and 6 now and it’s so beautiful to see how they play together for hours🥰

Congratulations Zoe❤ I found the 1-2 hard but in a different way. i was far more relaxed in terms of the baby schedule. But 2 kids is a hand full I am constantly busy with both haha but I am so looking forward to the two kids playing together in the future just like your 2 girls!

I’d say generally if 0-1 was hard, then 1-2 is easier and vice versa
