- Skyrim is game with more than its fair share of colorful characters and personalities. However, not all the NPCs we get to interact with in the world of The Elder Scrolls 5 are the most honest fellows, many of Skyrim’s people have fallen to a life of crime. So today we take a look at five more criminals and their secrets you may have missed in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.

PythonFalls Aventus probably had a choice of dead bodies, the butcher was killing people in the city. So he probably just had to find a fresh grave and steal the organs
KingJacks that’s an interesting theory you have there. Now that I think about it, that makes more sense than having killed someone by himself, when he could have “found” the components he needed for the ritual from an existing dead body. If he’d been an adult, it might be different, but that would have been the easiest way. He probably followed “the Butcher” back to Hjerim and took what he needed from there. Either that or maybe he went to the Hall of the Dead, and got what he needed from there. I suppose either way is possible, and definitely more believable than him having “murdered someone to death” on his own, as Nate says.
I swear Aventus used his mother's corpse to perform the Black Sacrement.
There's a reason to kill Paatrhunax. Lore wise, it should be done.
Charmes I believe he’s saying that it’s just a matter of time before Paarthanax reverts back to his former self and his formerly evil ways, and history repeats itself. I hate to put words in someone else’s mouth, but that’s the only reason that would explain his thought process. If that’s the case, I don’t give a rat’s ass. Under no circumstances will I ever kill Paarthanax with any character I use to play through Skyrim. Besides, I disagree with that logic anyway. He rebelled against Alduin and his dragon cults and freed all mortals who were enslaved to the dragons. He also said himself that he meditates daily to maintain his current ideology and avoid succumbing to the evil temptations of his draconian nature, so what I don’t get is why would he rebel against his draconian kin to help mortals free themselves from Alduin and slay him, only to turn around and do exactly what Alduin did, and turn against man, mer, and beast kin?
I'm still looking for the bastard who stole my sweet roll. At least the guards are on top of it. I didn't even have to say a thing and they knew someone stole it.

You can kill all the guards Telrav calls before initially talking to him and when he reaches the camp to find all his friends are dead he responds by saying "what the.." before turning hostile.
The chicken man was a genius if he attacked a settlement with even one chicken whoever killed it would be attacked by everyone there
the chickenmancer is actually one of the most powerfull necromancers in tamriel. I mean he resurrects 3 chickens when most can only 1 and the dragonborn 2 if he played with necromany for a long time.

Chickenmancers are said to be in the cult of the mythic dawn, as the egg they worship is symbolic of dagon, because the egg looks like the oblivion logo, or this could all be false, and they worship the chicken daedric prince

From 2:29 to 2:35 you are incorrect. Yes Mannimarco was a powerful necromancer. He does play an important role in Elder Scrolls II Daggerfall. However, he is not the antagonist in that game, and at no time in that game do you kill him. In fact, giving him the totem of Tiber Septim is one of the possible endings to the game, and one of the many endings to be considered Elder Scrolls Cannon (Warp in the West)
However, in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Mannimarco IS the antagonist in the Mage's Guild questline, and must be killed.
There's also ESO
Who IS the main antagonist of TES 2 anyway? All I heard was something about a king who was ressurected in spectral form and started killing people because he dearly missed his wife (who was High Queen of High Rock at the time) while he was dead.

Even after 7 years and well over 3000 hours in this game, I still have not come across the last set of bandits

I was walking in Windhelm when a vampire attacked and killed an npc.
The *Stormcloack Guard* walked near the body and said: *By the Eight, what happened?*
I went to Falkreath once, then three vampires and a dragon attacked at the same time, I loaded the save five times but no matter what someone died, so I stopped trying to save them and just hid the body.
Hey Nate. I wanted to tell you Thank you from the deepest corner of my heart. My year started off really badly, finding out several youtubers I enjoyed watching were actually really awful people. I just kept needing to jump from category to category just to not be swallowed up by my growing depression induced apathy. The internet is where I go to avoid the stress of real life so it was really problematic for me that the place I go to wind down was now creating more stress than it was curing. I found you randomly in my recommends one day and you had several things in your favor such as being a countdown list of random facts of a franchise I casually enjoy. Your channel was a sort of safe haven for me to watch that was friendly, entertaining, and consistent. When the drama got to be too bad for me, I'd binge watch your videos for a few hours to calm down. You and your channel were there for me this year when I needed you most. You became my gold standard when choosing new channels to watch and it's lead me to branch off into a lot of subjects I had never been interested in before. I can never thank you enough for how much you helped me. I look forward to all the great videos still to come in the new year ^_^ Peace out Nate.
On a side note, the Chicken-mancer might be on to something. Chickens in the Legend of Zelda series were some of the most dangerous enemies in the game.

I’m surprised that you hadn’t mentioned anything about the Draugr in the Battle-Mages Castle. The Blood Hoarkers Hideout. In the very bottom of the castle and behind a locked door was a dead Draugr named “Japhet” and there is a “Japhet’s Journal” alongside a leveled weapon and a chest
Once it was late at night and no one was around so I assaulted a chicken by hitting it with my bow just to spite them all. It was truly criminal.

For your next one, you should do the random encounter where a thief appears and tries to rob you. Show the dialog if you are part of the Thieves Guild, the dialog if you are wearing Thieves Guild armor, and the dialog if you are wearing Nightingale armor. I have played for 6 years and have never come across this dialog before. Probably because this is the first playthrough that I decided to wear vanilla armor.

Hi Nate! Happy New Year’s Eve. What I love about the Chickenmancer is that they included him as one of the stories in Inigo’s dialogue (mod). I accidentally explored Hob’s b4 getting the Flute return as a quest, so I think it may not have triggered the event where the thief chickadee yells for help. I just found her already murdered to death. I also have a mod for a mace called the Resurrection Rod (NO, it doesn’t “lift” the spirits of malfunctioning rods). I am now wondering what would happen if I used it to bring back to life victims like this thief who were meant (scripted?) to be sacrifices? Would it just be a Roggvir situation, where they drop dead again, for no apparent reason? So far, I have only used it if an NPC or stray animal have been accidentally killed in a fight with a dragon or invading vampires or other predators. Sorry, Darwin! 😁

I am impressed sometimes that some characters in The Elder Scrolls get time to write a note before dying. By the description on some journals it appear that their opponent is murdering them to death while they are writing.
Isn't there a way to save Larina using console commands/cheats? I'm curious if she had any extra dialogue and can be freed.
Nope nothing
I actually managed to save that first girl. You can mountain climb up that rock face. If you get up there, unlock the cage, and kill the necromancers from back to front of the dungeon, you never trigger her death. She just stays in the cage and stares at you.

I have to admit, I was so confused when I encountered the Chicken Necromancer that I just walked away after killing him and realized that he resurrected chickens. I was very VERY confused.
Manimarco is also a main bad guy in Elder Scrolls Online.
Mannimarco The King of Worms can also be fought in oblivion in the mages guild questline

You break the quest. She eventually despawns, the necromancers never spawn, and it's just annoying. Especially since you can actually wall jump up there.
