- We updated our awning fitting brackets so thought it best to share with you an updated fitting video.
We got sick of the years of having to settle with plastic caravan accessories that are available for VW Camper vans. At CampervanCulture.com we have developed a set of awning brackets that allow you to fit our quality 2500mm x 2500mm ARB awnings imported from Australia. As you would expect these are high quality awnings and our fitting brackets are made right here in the UK within a square mile of CVC HQ. Unlike the caravan kits that are available our Camper van kit sits the awning bag a little higher so it doesn't catch the side loading door.

Had one from you a few years ago great bit of kit just had front extension. My advice is be careful getting it out and putting it away in a bit if wind. But once deployed solid as a rock.

Love the channel and cvc website. It would be very much appreciated if you would do a T25/T3/Syncro buying guide. I've been looking to buy my first van and have found that prices often don't reflect the quality of the van. It would be really helpful to know what you can get for your money at different price point within todays market and what to avoid.

Nice! Although... I'd like to see a longer version that extends further forward, and I'd like a choice of brackets that maybe crank backwards tighter to the roof. Having a fixed steel roof, I can't help think this sticks out a little too far. Oh, and different colours. A nice grey or blue to complement my Bluestar :D
If you had a pop top it wouldn't lift up with side roof rack brackets if it was put closer to the van.
Mine came with a foam pad on the side of the bracket does it matter front or back for that one?
Is that sliding window fitted in the wrong side? How come the rear portion slides forward?
Do you stock brackets that would fit this awning to a t5 with a pop top?
I’m really disappointed you don’t sell the brackets separately! :-(
Why not sell the Brackets separate for those of us who already have the Arb awning?
I am sure there would be enough demand for that.
Just bought a high top Toyota hiace and Would love to be able to find an awning installation process like this for it. I’m guessing these brackets fit VW vans only? love your work btw 🤙

Any chance you can supply part numbers for the brackets and awning used in the video?
I have a T3 but there are very few of them in New Zealand. So ARB down here have trouble finding what I want.
We make these brackets so you have to buy them from our web shop here in the UK and we will ship them to you.
Do you have any tips for fitting this to a Devon side opening poptop? I have fastening clips on the pillars where it’s mounted in the video. The middle pillar is free though. Thanks
On a devon roof people normally move the clip that is on the B pillar back to the C pillar and that works.

My gutter is rusty towards the rear wheel so could I mount the awning with the rear clamp further forward than shown on this video? It would avoid the rust patch as I'm not sure how strong that area of gutter is.
Hi, Some people fit them slightly differently to avoid that problem. One bracket on the B pillar and one bracket on the C pillar on the back side of the side door frame.

Hi. There are heaps of pictures on the product listing for our T4 one. The awning works exactly the same, it is just the brackets that are different.

Yep, they do one for the Bay Window. I was in when one was recently fitted, it looked great!

We only sell them as part of the full kit inc the awning.
