- I show you the newest addition to my Hellion Twin Turbo Mustang from Recaro. The Sportster GT is one of the most successful street/strip seats to date and I show you the full install process from start to finish. The seats match my car perfectly and these are the perfect upgrade for a monster Mustang like mine. I could not be happier with the way these look and feel. That's hella sweet bro but recaro needs to make their own brackets and electrical connections. I absolutely love the red. I have a ruby colored mustang GT (Rapid Red) and those would pimp out my ride for sure

Those seats are awesome! They look great in the car. The only thing I find a little off is, the patches of missing carpet where the original seats covered the bottom of the car's red metal floor. I imagine there are some options to fix that. Great review Racer X!

RacerX. Your Mustang looks and sounds fantastic. The new Recaro seats really makes the interior pop. Looking forward to some 1/4 mile passes in your current Mustang or your new Dark Horse. Most dealerships I've spoken with have mentioned the Dark Horse inventory was being allocated

The first time I had Recaros was in my 2004 Saturn Ion redline I bought New off the lot in 04'. I was impressed and it spoiled me from that point forward. I bought an 21 SS 1LE this past fall and thankfully Chevy partnered with Recaro and they came with the package, in fact it was one of the solid reasons I decided to go with the 1LE. I agree with you, Recaro is good stuff man.

The Recaros that came in my 1LE are power, but it isn't even necessary. Extra weight that is not needed. I'm the only one who drives the car, so I may have adjusted them once. Your seats are F'ckn sick racer x, perfect for the car man.

Nothing beats having OEM electric seats with heating and cooling than aftermarket uncomfortable hard sport seats.

Man they are nice. 3500 for a set with sliders and hardware needed is steep though

@RacerX9 what is the pricing on these? I'm considering these because of the market on the OEM supplied Recaros from Ford. Guys are price gouging for seats with blown bags and less than desirable condition. Also do these have airbags?

Are you going to do a rear seat delete on the mustang?
I know the Ricaro seats are marketed as racing seats but for how much you’re paying for an “upgrade” it’s hard to justify losing heat/cooled and power functionality. I’m planning on picking up a Dark Horse in a couple years but there’s no way I’m paying the extra money for seats when I’ll be sweating my ass off in Georgia heat.

Pole position seats have harness holes almost "closed" with just 6'0 height
How’s the reliability been since the twins ? I get mine back tomorrow I just installed the fuel system and I’m gonna push 900ish

Installed the car lock in a 2022 charger hellcat .. it discharges the battery while parked
Working with car lock they report their device does not interface with car computer
They use 2 pins on the odb
Dealer recommended remove car lock device an drive for couple day w/o CARLOCK
So far the car battery stays charge..
no positive results yet
Working with dealer and CarLock.. but looks like the CarLock device can actually discharge battery to low as 10.2 volts making difficult to crank car??? Let you know

415 wheel stock.. 900 wheel at only 12.5 psi .. car is capable of way more though

When you reviewed the Camaro you knocked it for the high window sill height and commented how the Mustang had better visibility. So you made yourself sit lower in the Mustang and achieved the same thing youdidn't like about the Camaro?
I drove a Mach 1 and Camaro with Recaros. I didn't care for them because of the tall thigh supports. They push the legs together. I just didn't find them comfortable for very long.
The colors look good with the other changes you made to the interior.
The Mustang still has larger windows compared to Camaro so I really didn’t notice much change in visibility. I still like the Camaro quite a bit though

I prefer no power seats. Power seats take too long. More inconvenience then convenience.

WOW a Dark Horse, what are your thoughts that your Ford dealers will sell your car or position to someone else? Remember greedy dealers will do anything for a buck, I heard many many many times dealers dont have to honor anything they say
