How to Repair a Leak in a Hard Sided Pond Liner with JB WaterWeld

When I found a leak in my hard sided pond liner I fixed it with WaterWeld. It was easy and it works. My pond no longer leaks and other items that I've patched over the last few years continue to hold water well.
Caution: always wear gloves when working with this product.

Can I do this to the inside of the liner instead of the outside… so I don’t have to take it out the ground

@@MrTonychachere no, I tried sealing my pond with marine weld and flex seal and it still leaks😩🤦🏾‍♀️ so I’m just spending the money on a new liner

Sorry for not replying earlier. This product could work on the inside, but I'm not sure how you would find all of the spots that are leaking if you don't take the liner out of the ground. Because the liners are dark in colour (and usually muddy) it's really hard to see if there are multiple cracks/holes--you might find one but miss others.

why can't you just fill bottom of pond with concrete? Dont have to take out of ground or move anything? Boom never another leak!

I did that and it worked for almost 2 years until the water got underneath the concrete and the pond ended up cracking beyond repair trying to remove the concrete
