Category 4 Typhoon #Manyi made landfall in the Aurora province in the #Philippines on November 17, 2024. This storm was named #Pepito in the Philippines.
You did it, you actually did it. You survived 4 TYPHOONS in a single month, in a single country, and Man-yi was the final boss - a Category 5. *you are absolute legend.* Stay safe Stas.
IKR? If the US East Coast had had 4 Cat 5's in a month....it would be laid waste. Here, it's Tuesday. Strong people with great hearts. Truly inspirations. Best Regards and Best Wishes!
That night was wild and intense man. Iam a local here in baler and wow. when catanduanes was hit, thats our hint that any storm will be heading this way. so glad that there is no casualty, the local govt is working round the clock to evacuate the residents.
I had a goosebump watching this😢 i remember when i was young in our province in Quezon always hit by storm! Keep on Praying for my Beloved Country and People of the Philippines🙏🥹
We've to Sabang Beach in Baler on Nov 9 and Nov 10, we were lucky that we did not pick Nov 16 for our weekend trip we dont have any idea there is storm coming that time..Nov 10th on our way home typhoon Nika was coming in to Aurora province..Thank God were safe. Praying for people of Aurora to give them strenght and faith to rebuild their new home. Stay safe..
I can't imagine living in the Philipine, which is always hit by deadliest typhoon almost every year 😢😢😢, i am so grateful living in Indonesia ,stay strong philipine ❤
Great footage. I will watch this again with my husband, who has never experienced typhoon in the Philippines. Hopefully next time, you'lll chase the supertyphoon in Catanduanes. But it will be a bit challenging as oftentimes Typhoons cross the island at night time.
The danger is not "that the wind is blowing," it is "what the wind is blowing." I have seen people cut in half by blowing road signs and implied by tree limbs and lumber-it is a really dumb idea to stand out in the wind during a hurricane or typhoon.
Very good images, it is a miracle that such weak structures have held up. The struggle and resistance of the palm trees is moving, they are exceptional creatures, well adapted and prepared for these deadly blows of nature. I hope the locals recover soon. Formidable work, greetings.
Winds were really low so everything east of the Sierra Madres got hit very hard. The mountains destroyed the storms structure so west of the mountains were spared its wrath.
Yup! The eye of the storm passed a hundred kilometers north of us in Cabanatuan City, I never thought it would skip us, so instead Pepito hitting Dingalan or Northern Quezon, it went poleward a bit, passing dinadiawan in Dipaculao, Aurora, or some 30-45 kms north of Baler. When it passed Baguio City, it was just a severe tropical storm, or broken in half from Cat 4 to Cat 2.
@MonkeyLuffy-e7j You didn't really get my point here. I was talking of the 4 typhoons that struck Luzon in the span of a week recently to which IMO Man-Yi (Pepito) is the strongest to make landfall. You're talking about Goni which was 4 years ago.
@@rudytheastro.5023 then you should have clarified in the original, but I'm glad that you edited it now, previously, you just said strongest to strike Luzon and that was Goni 4 years ago
Shit!!! You’re Crazy guy staying out there! But gonna admit you did survive 😅!! I did that here in FLORIDA DURING THE HURRICANE. But JUST FOR FEW SECONDS!! But you man you nailed it. Like nothing!
just the north of this the northern eyewall of man yi feels it strongest winds , based on the photos from dinadiawan its like super typhoon haiyan scene, the green mountain turned into brown
Bro the wind is having a sound and to many debris or swinging away and the inglesian church is chilling i glad thst im not in Aurora or else im cooked and meanwhile bro is celebrating from the freaking typhoon and i glad thst you are safe
I've Experienced Typhoon Pepito But All Away From Samar We Were Bombarded With Hard Rain We were like staying in a hotel because the rain was so hard in my area
Dang dude this is cool. Imagine being over there in between the storms was pretty bad (_|_) too. Lucky V was lucky their awning stayed. Makes you realize what kinda cheap third world S hole we live in here in the USA sometimes!
Yea and it was wind signal number 5 for my location just southwest of Gonzaga, Cagayan. However, as is very common with tiny powerful cores, they can’t make it over the mountains. The wind was maybe 30mph and there was barely any rain. I drove around the following morning and couldn’t even find any trees down.
Also when it was Typhoon Nika or Toraji our wire that was connected to a tree suddenly sparked out of no where, We were shocked, And the winds were whistling too….
You did it, you actually did it. You survived 4 TYPHOONS in a single month, in a single country, and Man-yi was the final boss - a Category 5. *you are absolute legend.* Stay safe Stas.
Yeah, the typhoon landfall streak just the past 2 weeks is very tiring
Thanks for the kind words. It’s been a wild ride
Your unbelievable man

5 typhoon in a single month, Kristen, Leon, Marce, Nika & Pepito...
You had a crazy adventure out there, Stas. Safe travels! Hoping that the people of Luzon will quickly recover from these typhoons.
Thank you for kind words

One casualty in cam norte my home province sadly
The howling winds, reminds me of Haiyan and Rai when it hit my area. Traumatizing yet mesmerizing at the same time.

@zennelryderjoshuapacpaco631 ?
Amazing coverage.
Those structures held up well.
Well, here in the Philippines, our homes are built with concrete.
@@SergamingPlayz not all. but most.
Thanks. Most walls are concrete even if roofs are flimsy
@@JayDodz Yup, especially in provinces or informal settlers here in Manila. Their homes are sometimes made from wood.
Ground Zero was in Dipaculao, Aurora -90% of structures were destroyed including the concrete buildings.
The one dude at the gas station casually walking around as the trees start falling. lol
Filipinos are tough

Bravery...camera work...editing.....Fantastic.
Appreciate it!
Wow thats a real storm chaser! Unlike other hiding on the hotel and they called them selves a storm chaser.. you're the real one bro! 👍 Thanks
Thank you bro. I like to put myself out in the full fury of the storm
Hiding in a hotel is fine. In the end, it's surviving that counts.
I'm so relieved because I went to Baler on Friday and went back home in Manila on Saturday, 1 day before Pepito made landfall near Baler...
You timed it perfectly!
Amazing Job! You are truly one of the best chasers out there!
Appreciate that
You've had a marathon chasing a barrage of these typhoons over the past few weeks. Great documentation work
Thanks. It’s been a nice ride
Your shots is far more better than media in the Philippines
Thank you I’m glad you like it! I’ll have video coverage of future typhoons so make sure to check back
That wind shift @5:48 is just wow 😮
Love this work. You really are a brave storm chaser and you were not hit by a flying metal roof sheet.
Thanks for the kind words, it was a close one!
Glad you’re safe mate💪🏽❤️🤙🏽 this video gave me anxiety😢 been experiencing these kind of typhoons on our beach.😢
Thanks! I'm glad you're safe too.

Congrats on your successful chase! 🎉 Glad you're safe.
Thanks! It was definitely intense.
Great typhoon chasing video! Your video is the best to show the amazing power of this category 4/5 Man-Yi super typhoon!!!
Thank you, it was a powerful storm for sure!
The wind was howling. Great footage as always. Take care.
Thanks for watching, I will!
OMG Stas, That was some insane footage. You are rocking it in the Pacific this year!!!

Easily the strongest storm to make landfall in Luzon since last 2 weeks ago IMO. Also that Howling winds was surreal.

That's scary. Be careful🙏
Wow! you are brave! subcribed! haha
Thanks, I appreciate it!
You didn't experience the eye? I was able to experience HAIYAN's eye back in 2013 in Ormoc, Leyte...
The typhoon's eye did not pass through Baler but further to the north in Dipaculao.
Sobrang lakas kapag nasa mata ng super typhoon. Matutumba ang sinomang nakatayo sa labas. At kayang pataubin ang kotse.

How would you rate the winds out of 10?
9.5/10

It’s a website. Tropical tidbits
1:59 the wind can't carry you if you have balls of steel.
😜
how come you didn't chase Usagi?
I did but it was very weak, not worth making a video. The core was very tiny and dissolved at landfall. I was in very center and barely had any wind.
@StasisChasing oh ok
Usagi was a Category 5 Super Typhoon with 160 mph winds though
Yea and it was wind signal number 5 for my location just southwest of Gonzaga, Cagayan. However, as is very common with tiny powerful cores, they can’t make it over the mountains. The wind was maybe 30mph and there was barely any rain. I drove around the following morning and couldn’t even find any trees down.

Also when it was Typhoon Nika or Toraji our wire that was connected to a tree suddenly sparked out of no where, We were shocked, And the winds were whistling too….
The winds are strong imagine if it blew a human away
4 typhoon that almost wipe out the east part of luzon
November was pretty wild
Is there footage of the backside?
Crazy.
Pepito is very distractive! So traumatic to see its powerful wind and rain!
