Hey Tim & Marisa, it's just me. I'm off work today. So, I'm catching up on more of your adventures. In the Central America episodes now. 👍 all the way !!
Thanks Micheal! I do have to admit that our editing and music inlay improved as we continued to learn how to make videos, but I hope that you find them enjoyable without the background music that we now use. Our Central America journey was still an amazing experience! We hope you enjoy the ride!
Thank you so much for all of the support! It great to hear that you are enjoying them!!! It makes Marisa smile from ear to ear when I read her these comments!
Bummed that you missed Caracol! Though that would have been REALLY hard on that big loaded bike. And really sorry you had such a hard time at this border. We walked across no problem (we rented motorcycles in Belize but left them at the hotel - we couldn't take them over). We're going back and watching your Central America and South America adventures, since we missed them back in the day (too busy doing our own!).
We loved every mile of Guatemala! The people, landscape, nature was incredible! You and your wife are kind souls. Big hugs from Marisa and I for being good people.
Just took that little hand cable ferry at the start of this vid on my KLR 650 2 days ago. I've rode past it twice in the last 5 years and decided to go for the 30 second ride. My border crossing went a lot smoother/ quicker that it looks like yours did though.
Wow, I'm glad to hear that the cable ferry is still in operation! It was pretty cool... And only two days ago, amazing! That's so wonderful that you also ride these incredible roads, and I'm glad to hear that the border crossing was better for you. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us!
Completely with Tim on pronouncing those names, maybe we both missed "hooked on phonics" lesson in school? Would be interesting to hear the story behind your Notier's Frontiers logo?
Hooked on Fonics! lol... We will definitely describe our logo in the next episode! It is a combination of a N and F... with an Arabic style to the N.. It may not have been the best choice for a logo... but it kinda works once you decode it!
We were there in January and February. Their seasons are a bit different from temperature regions, I've found that the hottest month in Guatemala is March. But in general it's hot and humid all year round in the north, and then a lot drier in the south (still hot obviously but in the mountains it can get very cold). Guatemala is such a fantastic country, any time of year is perfect to go! Thanks for watching and for asking the question. If you have any other questions, we're here to answer!
Well, I’ve added a new word to my vocabulary, “jungle-y.” With the natural report that you share, the sites and knowledge gained, and the video and photo documentation you have, you could probably start a speaking tour or teach as adjunct faculty at colleges.
lol... With a vocabulary that includes 'Jungle-y' mixed in with my mispronunciation of nearly every word of the English language, I am not sure how quick any colleges would be to exchange money for my blabbering on! But... I am glad that you are enjoying these videos!

Thanks Gino!!!! We are having a blast making these!
My wife and I recently decided to sponsor a 4 year old child in Guatemala...looking forward to seeing what her country looks like.

We actually have a taller Mayan ruin in Belize. Caracol is the largest manmade structure in Belize even to this day.
That is awesome! We lived Belize as well and explored a few ruins there as well!
Absolutely stunning country!
