This is such a great episode. So glad you two got to see a sloth. Those monkeys were too cool also. @ Marisa------> If Tim won't buy you a ticket, you give me a call and I'll wire you the money. 😊😁 As always, you two stay safe !!!
I spent 2 months in CR back in 2010. The park entry prices are high for non residents, but the money allows Costa Ricans to have access to nice parks for a good rate. You can look at it like your being gouged or just be happy to be helping out people who have to work alot harder to make a living than we do, as Americans. I was told minimum wage there was $2/hour and educated people were making $5/hour. Their economy relies on tourism, so if North America is experiencing a recession, their economy slows down considerably.
I love your perspective! It's really a wonderful way of looking at it because it's very important to remember that as a traveler, I'm already being given such a great opportunity to see different countries of the world, and many of the people I come across will never have that opportunity. So it's ok for me to spend more because of it, especially if it helps the local people to enjoy the beauties of their country just as I have. Beautiful words, thanks for sharing!
HI,,, You guys are a delight to watch, doing it a bit different and thats good,,, PLUS your wife is SO EASY on the eyes.. I will track down more of your stuff.. Thank you so much Eddie Sydney/ Australia Jagna/ Bohol Philippines.
Thank you so much for watching Darren! We are having a blast as we prepare for our new journey to Alaska, while at the same time reliving our travels through Central America! Thanks again for the kind words!
Great episode! You guys are very inspirational! I just went on a mini adventure to the indiana dunes state/national park. (2020 KTM 390 adventure -first bike). I love your videos! All the best to you both!
Thank you so much Jonathan! The 390 will be such a fun bike to zip around on! The 1190 isn't nearly as 'graceful' as some of its more smaller cousins lol.. Whenever I get on a 250/350, I can't believe how amazing they handle in the worst of any conditions. Have fun and thanks for tuning in!
What a great video! I want to go to Costa Rica right now. Thank you. Ps. My Tiger wouldn't start this morning and I was so angry that I could have exploded. When I came in from the garage, I watched this video and it calmed me right down. Thank you for helping me not motocide (murdering your moto) or maybe it is should be called Tiggercide (murdering your Triumph Tiger). Anyhow, thanks for being the sole bright spot in a crummy Saturday morning.!
We are so glad that the video was able to temporarily take your mind off of committing moto-murder in any form! I know sometimes all it takes is to be able to hit the reset button to be able to attack the issue with a new round of patients. I hope the Tiger is back up and running. Take it on a small test ride down to Costa Rica and back to make sure the Flux Capacitor has been dialed in correctly... Thanks again for the positive feedback!
Do you need a bike with higher clearance for travels if you don't plan on leaving the pavement, or is that an unrealistic expectation when traveling in Central America? I have a vulcan 900 classic.
You can stick to pavement. But we were very thankful to have the extra clearance. The PanAmerican Highway can be taken all the way down and you should be in good shape. We know people who have ridden down on Harleys. You can totally do it and you will love every mile!
Thank you so much! I think that we were the winners when it came to being fed for the basic task of feeding rabbits! There are a lot of amazing people in this world and we are proud to have met a handful of them!
Lol... It was totally worth it! I hate sounding like such a cheap@$$ in our videos lol. With everything that we have experienced, I would happily pay twice as much.
Danke!

Another great video. Thanks for sharing your experiences! Feeding bunnies is lame but necessary.
Thank you so much! I think that we were the winners when it came to being fed for the basic task of feeding rabbits!

Well, $100 for both of you and so far over 1000 people have seen Mistico Hanging Bridges. That's less than 10 cents per person. A bargain!
