hey John I think that in the first question the answer could be simplified by using the formula of equilateral triangle's area the perimeter is "a" and the total sides of figure are 6 so the side of a triangle is a/6 (all sides equal) using formula the equation becomes √3/4 x (a/6)^2 = 16√3/4 this simplifies the equation and we get the direct value of a with saving lots of seconds I know this might be out of concept but I believe that what matters in SAT is to get a correct answer ASAP
