Good video- just what I was looking for. One, possibly daft, question - with the cement in place as shown, will you still be able to disassemble the stove/pipe if you need to next time you sweep this stove ?
Hi mate just bought multy fuel , I’m use to working industrial burners as I in charge of them at work place , on my portway stove can get a high temperature but it goes down to 250 most times. Sily question I have 2 vents fully open to draw air first then put both to midddle , what’s the best way to keep both controls working to get best heat if that makes sense 😂
Use the speacial paste in a tube and use cilicone gun i used 3mm rope and packed it first
Nice one. Thanx.
👍

You shouldn't have to remove the pipe. You sweep from inside the wood burner. 👍

You don't want both vents open when the fires on when the fires. Close the top one and Keep the bottom slightly open.
Thanks mate so after got it to right temperature shut top vent , and keep bottom slightly open cheers Zach
Good advice, thanks. With the method you do it, won't the pipe still expand and contract and make a gap which means there is no seal there?
Thank you, no it shouldn't. It can't push it up. 🎩🎩
