Underrated AF! Deserves way more views. You know what you're doing man, a rare case here on YT
I was creating a Moc Up and couldn't figure out what they were using with the drum track.Your video helped me find what I was missing. The "Whoosh Bang" They used it every time they wanted to accent a hard hit on beat one. Thanks Joe I like how you break down all the sounds to show what your using.
Really helpful insight. Excellent.
That’s 6/8 time is genius! Thanks!

Love your sessions Joe.

This is a good tutorial - thank you
thanks a lot mate, really useful
Fantastic video. I do own Damage 2 but not strikeforce, but feel I miss exactly those drum sounds you showed from Strikeforce. Do you know a patch or way to get those also done in Damage? Thanks for your reply.
thankyou sir love from india
Great video, many thanks. If I may ask? In a track, would you keep them separate or create a summing track and add any further processing to that?
Thanks for your comment! It depends on how your template is set up, and preferences to be honest. The way I have my template set is my percussion is split into developers. So I have a "Heavyocity" folder, an "8DIO" folder, etc, etc. This is only because it helps keep me organized, and quite frankly my percussion group is the largest. Then all the individual folders are routed to a master percussion stem, so I have the option to do bus processing. Often times this is just simply an EQ, and maybe light compression. Most of the intense processing happens on the individual stem since they all sound so different.
Thanks!!!

Whats mixer on your table for ?
Hey, it's actually a monitor controller. I have a few different pairs of speakers in my studio, so it allows me to switch between them. As well as other things, like plugging in aux cables or other devices.
