It's a difference between expecting continuous entertainment, just from passively playing the game the same way over and over. And actively planting seeds and learning new things, to proactively make game more interesting for yourself to play! The difference between passive consumerism that leads to stagnation, and proactive continuous adaptation, that leads to you getting better and better at game!

I actually have been taking a break from playing cs for abt 3weeks, it is less that I don't enjoy cs and more that I need the time for other things.
I will finish the break in abt a week, but I really want to get back to the game already, mainly because of the major.
W video once more, didn't watch yet.
When I have more than a week off I start envisioning me playing the game hahahaha. Just proper daydreaming!

@@kneel69 nowadays I play a lot of RuneScape (the soundtracks you pick sound so much like RuneScape btw ahah) but I played them all like wow, 4story, aion, path of exile, metin2 and more

One thing I like to do to reduce burnout is to hop on community servers and play some minigames, something cs was intended to do. One thing for my student people, don’t play on weekends. It’ll make playing cs feel more rewarding because you waited the entire week to play it, and you can get work done as well
I’ve been playing since 2004. I’m not amazing and usually sit right in the middle…when it doesn’t feel fun anymore, take a break. That goes for any game.
Dust 2 Comp has been my anti-burnout safe haven. I’ve been grinding away at Premier mode a lot, and I’ve needed a break more than once a day lately. Since I’ve only picked up CS as recently as the CS2 announcement, it’s a map I’m wholly unfamiliar with - and since it’s Comp, I find that I run into some of the quirkiest, least-try-hard teammates the game has to offer.
And when that doesn’t work, I watch your videos ;b

I only got my PC 10 months ago, never played Keyboard and Mouse before. So it'd be interesting to compare. I'm around 8,000 score btw.

Whenever I take a break from the game I return as a monster. Hungry and entering flow state faster. The problem is that this desire and hunger for the game lasts for a "limited time" and that's the time I need to push for rank ups.

Recently finished getting my first knife just by trading (from nothing, didnt use real money). Now I am hella burnt out. I am really enjoying singleplayer games now. Havent touched cs in 2 months now

I found uninstalling really prevented me from burning out
I took a 3 day break forgot the bad habits took another 2 day break lost 4 games in a row and a 4 stack decided to go in to my Molly and give me 30 minute comp ban and lost 1k (a 4th of elo) and now I’m half way down

You got any tips on learning maps in cs? Everytime i try learning a new map i get bored and queue up a game of nuke like i always do
10k hours in cs so not just bs here. Take it slow as in learn the basics of every map but one take at a time. For example Mon - Inferno B smokes, Tue - Ancient mid take, Wed - Anubis A Take/smokes and so on… Doing this means your not spending too much time getting bored learning nades but still doing enough to develop as a player and still get your matches in each day.
Use UA-cam for these executes and then test the nades for yourself then try and use them in a match when you can.
Write which take you have learnt or have it in a spreadsheet to see your progress and you’ll see your in-game knowledge developing rapidly.
Forget about the pixel perfect pro smokes and flashes just learn the basics on all maps first and then add to it and you’ll be flying in no time

I know its off topic in regards to this video, but im wondering. Im a 9500 elo wrist aim only (due to a disabilty) guy, i feel i need a higher sensitivity to make up for checking corners quickly enough. Im on about 1300 DPI with a 1.00 sens ingame. Is there anything specific i can do or learn to have more control with said sens? This is as broad as you can think of it, for example should i prefer close angle fights, should i snipe, am i better of being smart (util) than drilling aim that feels endlessly inconsistent? Any feedback is much appreciated, thanks to anyone in advance :)
