As the side hall player I usually have success with what you showed during the early to mid round, but I’m never 100% sure what to do after I get 1 or 2 picks. Is it better to keep trying to hold down side hall or fall back to elevator to hold site for a push?
Depends, since if you give completely you are asking to get timing punished and you allow the Ts to gain a bunch of space for free, so doing something like jumpspotting from the ramp sandbags (my team made up the callout “water” for them since there are two different sandbags). You could also play. Tucked down yellow with your teammate jumpspotting, since in a man advantage you can use unexpected setups to win the numbers game by always going 1 for 1 and chipping down the other team while gaining info. I wouldn’t play super passive though, since you earned the right to have the important control. If there is no good reason to stop looking at it for a long time then you shouldn’t
ive personally grown to like ramp smoke + bouce molly off the crane (tho i might start using the bounce of that steel beam) and fight for ramp control. Sometimes its done as a 3 man squad 2 ramp + 1 short. best spawn for ramp goes there instantly second best mollies and third smokes and goes short. its also good if you get ramp control for free short can rotate and second guy can go short. (tho i play with lvl 6-8 faceit so what i know :) )
so everything is the same even with the newer spawns? because ive been throwing the ramp molly and it does like 12 damage to the last player and every other player beats the timing completely
On B stairs you should still be able to get the molly off, throwing it on the stairs versus throwing it into the doorway makes a huge difference even though it’s in a slightly different spot

You forgot the most op b spot. The turret. You can stay crouched and let the other b player bait you inn with shooting at them so You can uncrouch and shoot from above then fall down and peak left or right, and you can smoke infront of you and fall back to the default posision if pressured and it lets your other b player play that posision. Thats why you dont always have to go 3 a but if its pistol you always do it when you hear sounds. If the turret is used its almost impossible to rush b and extremly hard to take. You controll all the figths and its so good. Be carefull not to use all the time or too move around a little on the box and crouch so its Harder to pre-aim you. And i would have destoryed you with ak or deagle on that peak even with old spawns. You just bounce the Flash and pre-fire. I hope they add vertigo yprac map to the workshop again. Very simple but so effective
if you're talking about the mid flash it will blind people who can see the hole in the ceiling and the generator flash at B will blind anyone in the open

If you throw the yellow smoke (as it’s called) it will make life very easy for your side hall player if the other team doesn’t rush you. Try it out
