The average person has 4k-5k unread emails, by 2030 you'll need a seperate OS just to sort them
i have 9
I still have an email address from 2001 that has been used as a dumpster until not many years ago, and I'm pretty sure that by 2030, it will have become a spam black hole that will destroy the internet and possibly the universe.

Tem mails are one of the most useful things online. It's hella annoying to need to watch a site temporary and it asks for your email.
Yeah or when retailers say: "and your phone number is" like excuse me? You don't need my number
Dear Mental Outlaw: please do one on mastodon-fedyverse-gab. Way to much talk around about how federation is the future of social media and not enough about how much it can suck ass.
Thanks my dude.
I'm surprised you didn't spoke about 10minutemail.com...
Any particular reason not to? Do you know any reason to do NOT use it?
@Bernd Lauert FINALLY SOMEONE WITH A BRAIN
@Bernd Lauert Thanks, but that doesn't answer my questions...
@Bernd Lauert Well, the 2 temporary email providers shown re-use emails or make temporary emails permanently accessible, which isn't the case with 10minutemail.
That's already a massive difference, don't you think?
@@espertalhao041 not really, say, do you like cheese
temp mail is easy
finding a phone number, is hard, tho, unless you go to physically buy the cheapo sims, basically all of them are blacklisted, or already used and services limited to X per number
>ethnic slurs
I prefer the term "gamer words" 😎
i tried guerrilla mail once, but there was only a landing page, no form or way to use it, then i used yopmail, which is my favorite, and the best part is it creates a "mirror" mail address which is only one way, let's say you create "secret@y..." it will create a mirror "def-not-way-to@y..." or something like that, you can subscribe "def..." but if someone puts that on yopmail to check the inbox, it won't open, or will use a different inbox, as long you're the only one that knows about "secret@y..." you're safe
10minutemail is my go-to tempmail

About four years ago, I had the "great" idea of making an email for every service I'd use, and that quickly turned into an annoyance, starting with making them. Google blocked my IP from making any new emails within the first 7 I made. I decided to keep using those 7 emails and using them evenly, just making sure that every service I'd use would have a completely randomly generated password that was around 16 characters. But, then the other annoyances came with managing so many. I'd be cool if a single email could generate a sub-email, sortof what Apple does internally with their "sign in with Apple" thing, where it'll generate a sub email and password for everything you ever sign in with it. But, it's just all a hassle for a teen who's just getting into the idea of keeping myself safe online, yet, not anonymous.
Recently, I've been shifting all of my frequently used and important services into my main email, but I'm still forced to maintain those 6 other emails since some services are locked to them. Though, I've been wanting to set a higher standard for myself, like regularly shifting my passwords on most of my important services, perhaps using a password manager rather than manually trying to keep track of my passwords, and finally disabling autofill.
I see how the world is becoming so connected, but how people don't try to keep themselves protected online just for the convenience and commodity. I'm stuck between wanting to become a shadow and keeping the modern comforts that come with the lack of privacy. Perhaps, I wish to be both.
@tingc-o a I have 7, those are the first 7 I managed to make before getting IP blocked for a bit. I think it's my main, my backup, one dedicated for facebook, one for twitter, so on and so forth.
I originally meant to generate an email for EVERY individual thing, so in theory, I'd have dozens. Which brought me that idea of having a main email capable of generating sub emails like the Apple example I gave, that'd be cool.
I didn't know I could host my own but I'll definitely look into that. Sounds fairly interesting!
For now, to deal with the main issue plotted in the video, spam being the main concern, I've spent a while setting dozens of filters, so it's typically not an issue at the moment, but that obviously doesn't fix the safety concerns. It just makes my inbox usable, even with dozens of services mailing me. I've also unsubscribed from many email stuff, as in the option to have it stop mailing you.
Thank you btw, I appreciate the suggestion!
@@Derpuwolf you got ipblocked? i've made over 100 emails through gmail
@@Derpuwolf Im doing through the exact same thing a year later. Sucks man, but atleast we’re aware. it makes us alot less vulnerable
Make different accounts, then forward all mails to one single account. I do it myself
just buy a domain and set a catch-all address for it
A domain is similar to a junk dedicated email address - it can be used to track you.
my personal Club Penguin record is 15...
It seems that some services - like instagram - blacklist tons of temp mail addresses. Or they use more sophisticated account creation screening.
this channel is growing fast af boiii
HI DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO CREATE AN EMAIL THAT ISN'T "TEMP"PLEASE HELP
also how do i get the internet?
@tingc-o a HOW DO YOU TURN CAPS OFF? THANKS FOR ANSWERING MY QUESTION. I CANT USE THE INTERNET BECAUSE MY MOM SAYS IM NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE HOME I LIVE AT 127.0.0.1
What about a temp number?
do you have a discord?
Free e-mail accounts with all the necessary features and plenty of storage space are now the _de facto_ standard, but interestingly this is a double-edged sword: they are free because your personal data (aggregated or otherwise) are valuable to those behemoth providers, and therefore they will not offer temporary e-mail addresses as a service. But this is exactly what keeps it easy for spam companies to ban temp e-mail domains whenever they are created. If GMail offered temp e-mail addresses, the spammers would have to resort to (prohibitively) more difficult ways to vet addresses.
First thing in the morning: check to see if there is a new Mental Outlaw video I can learn something from :)
I use gmailnator it has the best success over any other temp email service. Gorilla mail is kinda garbage most services know when you use a temp email.
Loving the hide from silicon valley videos, keep them coming! I'm trying to follow in your footsteps with the glow boys and am documenting the journey on my channel
Obviously using my real name on UA-cam was a bad idea but that's a holdover from another time haha
I think you can change your name on UA-cam
@@T404-i9w with the glow boys it's damage done. The record is there from my 2007 GMail and Google doesn't delete anything
Almost all service emails have a little "unsubscribe" button in them, most of the time it doesn't require you to do anything more
The best is yopmail, but it's the first service to get ban when sites are banning temp mails
A lot of people: **getting spam emails because they used 1 email for each service you use**
Them: **Discovers Temp email sites**
Also them: *YES NO MORE SPAM EMAILS*
Great explanation and examples. One of my subscribers referred this video to me, and I'm glad he did. Cheers.
Bro can u make video for good OPSEC on Android...tq
A couple of sites I always end up going to and that I've had the most success with are gmailnator.com, fakemail.net and smailpro.com, that last one used to be free, but now it's paid for premium domains, which kinda sukcs because it pretty much had legit gmail accounts, free domains are still ok
Hey man, may I know what is that feature-blocking add-ons on your browser that allows you to block certain element of a site?
BTW, in android use SimpleLogin
It gives you email aliases
I use Random email generator since 2019
It helps me a lot...
Guerrilamail also exposes your source ip as a SMTP header if you send any emails from their service. You should plan accordingly (vpn or tor) to mask your source IP when using this service.
I am thinking of using temp mail to sign up to chatgpt. What do you think good idea or not?
What do you think of services like SimpleLogin or AnonAddy?
I feel like you could just use one new trash email and use the search feature for anything you actually need
can i copy a email and still receive the email as well as the orignal email
I actually was thinking about this only. Damn
Spooky.
Simple solution: use Gmail and setup the categories right. If something manages to get through that it's a miracle.

Nice. Didn't know that you could get into the inbox of a throwaway email that easily.
Nice hacking tutorial. but... still no flag... maybe wrong email address?

I used to post on a forum that allowed guest posting. to fuck with this one guy who refused to make an account I used slippery email (rip) to create accounts with his guest names. He kept using the same name til it had a good 8-10 spaces between the two words in said name. Good times.
I use email service that supports use of personal domain.
Whenever I need to register, I will create an alias email address. And when I get the registration email, I can disable it. When I need to reset password, I will just create the same alias again.

Ethnic is the best and sociologically better substitute for race, because races don’t exist in the current world anyways.
i need to make a new throw away account every time I need to update my graphics card drivers because i bought an nvidia card and need to use the gfForce experience like a shill.
I got a duckduckgo ad. Hey, at least it fits the channel and doesn't try to sabatoge the message like religious ads on atheist videos
What if you sign up for an account using one of these emails then you forget and can't do password reset bc the email account has expired

You can create a random one with a password manager

I've heard of 10 minute mail, is that any good?
that is the one i use all the time, ive never had it rejected, just keep an eye on your 10 minutes because once it runs out you are screwed if you need further correspondence with it, luckily it has an option to extend your 10 minutes before it runs out incase you still need more time.
I usually use 10 min emails for those 'x' days free trials accounts
I personally use temp-mail org
Pls make one for phonenumbers
tempmail.ninja is another one i use often

@@user-lc8jd6sn2b I don't, but I really should so I would have someone to talk to. How about aliases?
Love the dark humor
For me, just have 3 separate email address, one for personal use (receiving emails) , one for some important sites(e.g financial, education, etc.), then one for registering some lesser important sites(e.g forums, coomer sites, etc.). The importance of this is that if you happen to forgot the password of one of those account, you can simply just recover it since you register it to an email address that you know. Temp email is only good when you just need to download/view something to a site but requires you to register in order to download/view what you need in other words, register and forget scenario....
@Vayne Hi, I have one email and want another for certain orders and classes, etc. But I want it different than gmail and don't want to give all my personal info. How should I do this? I don't know much about this tech stuff...so frustrating
