Shifting Sands: The Anatomy of Geopolitical Conflicts in the Horn of Africa

On Tuesday, February 27th Professor Mehari Maru, Professor at the School of Transnational Governance and Migration Policy Centre at the European University Institute, discussed geopolitical competition among great powers and their extreme interventions in Africa and how they will substantially undermine peace, governance, and development on the continent and dent the effectiveness of continental and regional institutions such as the AU and RECs.
