Let’s just say that the flight attendant told the pilot to make up an excuse and not fly under the influence or she’s going to tell. The next time the pilot will just get high and NOT tell his friend he’s high, and flies the plane. No, he needed to be fired, and it’s crazy how Envy is making excuses for that pilot. It makes you wonder how many excuses he’s going to make for Cesar, his real estate friend who’s being investigated for fraud.
Oop. Word. Also just casually disregarding all of the lives on that plane that were potentially put at risk. Cutting a friend a break is ok when it only effects them and maybe you but as soon as it’s affecting the potential death of innocent people idgaf who you are but yo ass needs to face consequences.

If I drive under the influence with my child in the car, I deserve to lose my child, because my child’s life is in my hands. The pilot doesn’t just have his life in his hands, but many other lives in the air and on the ground. He deserved to lose his job.

As a flight attendant, I can tell you, we love when passengers bring little gifts and notes! We make sure the whole crew knows who brought the treats. And everybody makes sure that passenger is well taken care of!❤😉

I’m very disappointed in DJ Envy’s enabling. What this pilot did was not only selfish but dangerous. He endangered people on the flight, as well as on the ground anywhere they may have crashed as well as the trumpet. He would’ve caused the families of the victims if he did crash. The flight attendant absolutely did the right thing by turning him in. This is not something you cover for someone for. Covering it up, left him opportunity to do it again. The more opportunities he would’ve had more potential opportunities their would’ve been for the consequences to be much worse for everyone. He deserved to lose his job and should never have another job that places other people’s lives in his hands ever again.
DJ Envy clearly has an immature mindset. He is more concerned about being loyal to a person "friend," than about what the right thing it is to do. That pilot has to suffer the consequences for his irresponsible behavior.
What a lotta people don't know is that this is how Aaliyah died allegedly. At the time it was rumored that the pilot flying her plane had been high on cocaine. Truly sad and irresponsible to not at least not to take the drug around the same time you are going to be taking a flight, sad!

All pilots should have to undergo and submit a urine test 2 to 3 hours before a takeoff as being high during take off puts the passengers at risk as well as people on the ground at risk.

Just because you have drugs in your urine doesn't mean you're high. Weed can be in the system for about one month. Cocaine two,three days. Technically you could do a line of coke on monday and still have it in your system on thursday.

I flew a few weeks ago with Delta on a morning flight. Before takeoff the pilot comes on the intercom and says, "This is going to be a short flight, sit back relax, take a nap. I'm tired too, so take a nap for me. Take 2 naps!" ... I was speechless by his remarks but I hadn't even thought of the possibility he could've been high the night before..
