    Great job. I think this is the 3rd or 4th build I've watched and yours is by far the most capable looking. The others have the look of mixed parts while yours looks like everything fits perfect. Nice style and fabrication skills 👍.

      Thanks John, at the core we always try to make our bikes fit for purpose. Whatever that may be, but for me, form and function needs to be a continuous process until it looks right aswell

    Like I said: great job on that bike!!!, if you guys build a Harley cafe racer style that might change my mind about Harleys, keep it up!!

      @Purpose Built Moto , yes I' ve seen it but is not a personalized quality job as you guys do, ain't gonna be unique is just something that anybody (with enough money) can buy. By the other hand you know "cafe racer; build not bought"!!!, cheers!!

    You did a nice job on the build.Those pipes poking out up by your seat looks like you could wreck yourself on them if you go down.Not really sure what they are for.
    I like your exhaust.I like to build pipes too.
    It would be nice to see you riding the bike just to see how it fits you.

    This thing is amazing. It came out so so rad man. Love it.
    Also, 300km on a 1200c tank?
    I still have to fuel up every like 120 miles on mine? What is this sorcery

    • @betrolhead
      @betrolhead 4 роки тому

      120 miles = 193 kms. i have a 1200c tank and get about 300 on highways, 200 if city riding. hope this helps.

    • @PurposeBuiltMoto
      @PurposeBuiltMoto  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks mate, did you follow the series?
      Yep I get about 300k's to the tank. The Lectron carbs run a lot more fuel efficiaent as well as giving you a better and more responsive power.
      With the 1200C tank and the carb I was on about 1/2 a tank when the bonnevilles and other bikes were looking for fuel during the Wide of the Mark trip.

      Purpose Built Moto ofcourse i did! The build turned out awesome. Can’t wait to see it in the feature film. And it deserves all the praise its getting. I’ve already started on my sporty, ordered your slim push button switches today too. Gathering up parts now and will start on the build. Cheers and keep up the awesome work!

      How about the throttle assembly. Did you have to get a custom throttle cable?

    Placing lights on the fork guard? They won't be rigid, moving up and down, vibrating all the time - It's not a good idea at all.

      Yakuza 69 thanks for your experienced insight. I rode this bike for 2 weeks straight through all types of off road terrain and on road, the headlights worked perfectly.

    Harley Davidson should consider to come out with scrambler/cafe racer/streetfighter kind of bike.
