We just booked our trip to St Regis Maldives over water villa basically all on points.
180000 UR points for 2 RT Premium economy from NY to Taipei.
90000 Thank You Points for 2 RT in economy from Taipei to Maldives with 3 days stop over in Singapore.

I’m planning on doing this. I have a player 2. And I think I got her convinced that it’s a good idea to get all these cards. Lol. But I think I may go the Marriott or Hilton route. I know I’ll have to apply for more cards to get that done though. So we’ll see. Thank you for posting this! These are my favorite videos. (And they help me convince my player 2 that cards are great!)
I have Conrad Maldives booked with Hilton points later this year, with a stop at the Conrad Hong Kong and Disney on the way! Just counting down the days until I get to be there.

The problem with the Maldives is hotels are isolated from each other. You need to combine multiple cards points/free nights benefits in order to make it worthwhile and not go broke on the transfers. Other destinations you can just take a cab to move around for little cost.
Do you plan on making anything soon covering the Amex airline incidentals with Delta and Southwest? I’m sure for a lot of people out there that made their AFs a little easier to justify.

Trying to decide between Hawaii, Tahiti, Bora Bora, and the Maldives for a first tropical island trip. Also getting to the Maldives might be cheaper going KLM and transferring points to Flying Blue?? Or booking through Delta and using your skymiles balance, maybe?

Hi Sebby - question for a future video. Let’s say you want to leverage points for a nice trip but don’t want to give up earning points for the trip. I’m thinking specifically about a first class long haul flight where you want the miles (in my case I want the Delta MQM’s). I know usually getting points and earning points are mutually exclusive or are they? Can you add some clarity on this for your audience?
Sebby what do you do when you have chronic stinginess with your points? Therapy?
What do you think? Hyatt with Chase points or Hilton points at Conrad and use $100 resort credit and Diamond status. Which gives best value?

can you do this for a lot of cards. I use amex with an aero plan transfer program but i live in Canada so not sure if mine would be the same.
Hotels are harder with Amex. Possible via Amex / Hilton but just more costly.

On the Delta website. Should be pretty straight forward. Delta points have pegged value in most cases.
But Player 2 Sebby clearly shows you how this is basically Free. Why else would he make a spreadsheet (duh) ?!
