I liked Diana plump too - bless her, as a former starlet she felt under terrible pressure to be as thin as she had been in her youth. She talked about her 'fat forties' but by today's standards, she wasn't even especially big! And she was beautiful and magnetic whatever the scales said! What a tragic loss at just 52 - God takes the best ones first. She had so much more magic to share with the world. She loved Coronation Street and I reckon she would have made a wonderful landlady of the Rovers! My goodness she'd have given Bet Lynch a run for her money! Mind you, I bet EastEnders would have been after her too - she would have beaten Barbara Windsor hands down as a landlady! And this is a rare glimpse of Diana's home kitchen - love that she had a telly to watch while she cooked. And apparently Di was a wonderful cook. Imagine going to one of her dinner parties, what fun!

I just love Diana Dors - being herself was her best role by far, she had such incredible natural charm. Thank God it's captured on film, so we can keep on being inspired by her powerful charisma.
What a star - what a woman! Taken far too young at 52, but what an incredible life she packed into 52 years. I'll take quality over quantity every time.

Been a fan of DD for years since childhood and even later in her life her kind , generous personality shone through. You never even thought about weight or anything like that. You just loved Miss Diana Dors and all the films she'd made and guest appearances on chat shows etc...She was something else. Lovely lady.

Dors carries her weight well always looked kinda in proportion her charisma and sparkle never faded stillmissed by many to this day
If anyone epitomized "Big & Beautiful" it was Diana Dors...she looked much better when she was fat & it was a shame she slimmed down 😦😢🙁

It's funny really looking back at these TVAM slimming episodes from 40 years ago - the obesity epidemic was a long way off back then. By today's standards, Diana and the 'Dors Dozen' dieters aren't even fat!
