Love the kit bro! Paiste & Tama forever!
This is exactli my combo 😁
At home I'm paiste pst3 and Tama stagestar guy, for practice. At gigs I'm a Ludwig classic maple and Paiste 2002 guy.
Happy drumming, people. No matter what you use!
Thanks for the review. I play 2002s and have everything from 10” to 24”. I need a China to round out my palette.
Great review, sounds awesome!
Thank you very much my friend!!! 🥁🥁🥁
2002, so delicious. My favorite ride is the 2002 20" and my fav hihats are the 2002 15" SE. The Signature Full crashes are perfection to me, but the 2002s are great also.
Nice review and great sounding cymbals
Thank you very much my friend!!!!
Exquisite sound ❤
Awesome! I also play on a Tama kit with Paiste cymbals, mainly 602 modern essentials, and Axis pedals! 😃
You choose the right gear Angelo!!! 🥁🥁🥁
Tama and Paiste. Ahhh yes...
My favorites are the 18" crash, 10" splash and 18" China. I had a pair of 14" SE hats years ago but they're a bit too bright for me. I now play the Signature Dark Crisp hats.
Great review Daniel , Paiste is great 😎
Thank you very much Tax!!!! 🥁🥁🥁
I've been partial to the crisp sound of 2002s since I was in highschool in 2000-2004
Paiste 2002 are the best!
It used to be 2002 were too powerful for anything,
Don't know if it's your Mike's, but they sound great
Thanks for watching. For me they are the best.
Can someone please explain to me what happened to Paiste cymbal cleaner?
It hasn't been available for years now. Did Paiste just stop making it and decided not to tell their loyal customers!?? If so it's a dumb move.
I've been playing Paiste since 1979 and I've never used anything but Paiste cymbal cleaner for my cymbals.
With that said, my cymbals are in need of cleaning and I have no Paiste cymbal cleaner and I'm not taking a chance with the other guys stuff. PAISTE WHAT'S GOING ON?
2002 rules
Yeap!
If you want some inexpensive cymbals to compliment the 2002's in the very best possible way, the PST7's are absolutely incredible, especially the larger thin crashes and the light ride. For as good as the PST7 19 thin crash sounds, $140 is nothing.
I agree with you!
Can you help me soon, should t choose paiste 7 or paiste 8 or paiste 2002 ? Hope you reply soon, i need very much, thanks you very much 😂
I always choose 2002 over any other cymbal.
@@DanielCharavitsidis Thank you very much, I'm in Vietnam, I'm just an amateur drummer, playing drums purely for endless passion, I had to save for a long time to have enough money to buy paiste cymbal, dw hardware set. (made in Taiwan) and drum set, to me is a huge amount of money, please help advise me whether to buy the dw design set (American technology but made in Taiwan) or buy the dwperformance set ( imported directly from the US) once again thank you very much,
@@trinhphuongtuvi1518 I prefer Tama Drums. DW is Great company but I don't like the fact that they sell made in China products at the price as if they were made in American.
@@DanielCharavitsidis The dw dissgn set made in Taiwan sells for 50 million Vietnamese dong, only empty, the dw performance set imported from America they sell for 70 million Vietnamese dong, also just empty, not including 10% tax, so Should I buy the Perfomance set or do you advise me to buy the Tama set like you said?
@@trinhphuongtuvi1518 I like Tama Drums and I buy Tama Drums. You can buy the Starclassic Performer set which is amazing for it's price.
If you are a hard hitter, you will dent these instantly. Buy the Signature or Rude series. The formula is different from years ago.
Yes I know. I use 2002's since 2001 and never had a problem. I don't like the sound and feel of the Rudes. The signatures are fine but I prefer the 2002 line.
There's a difference between hitting hard and hitting with bad technique. The latter will give you issues.
@@feebypeels2883 i have never dented my signature series paistes. The formula is different for the 2002 series, or maybe the batch was bad. I used to use Zildjians, and I never dented those either. Bad technique? Nice try.
I have used Paiste 2002 and Ziildjian classic cymbals and never cracked one. The cheap cymbals I started with cracked. I think part of it is placement and striking style. I think it was more me not knowing what I was doing. Plus drum miking is more prevalent now so you don’t have to play as loud.
@@ThreeCeeProductions i have been playing for 40 years. I have never dented a cymbal other than the 2002 series. Bad batch I suppose. Buddy rich hits extremely hard, so that theory is false. Neil Peart also hit very hard. My 18 inch power crash dented, but not the 16 inch.
Are those drums the Tama silverstar line? Does that happen to be the chameleon blue sparkle?! Do you buy chance have the 10" Tom it came with?!! I've been looking for years now and can't find one anywhere.
Also I'm a lifelong Paiste supporter, and player, since 1999.
Yes they are Silverstars. Unfortunately I sold this drumset and bought a Starclassic Walnut/Birch. Thanks!
