Oh, as a heads up: I emulate the game at 1.3x speed, since the cars are pretty sluggish stock and tuning doesn't get saved for me. It's good practice though, since it translates pretty well to handling properly tuned cars at the actual arcade!
I enjoy realistic racing more, whether it's in a sim like Assetto, or literal real vehicles like go-karts or my Celica. However, when it comes to arcade racing, the WMMT games just satisfy me the most when it comes to flying through corners at speeds you'd bin it at in anything else hahaha
Oh hey, WMMT! Ive been trying the third game recently and even preparing a video guide on how go setup - its pretty cool as well but oddly enough there isn't step by step guides to help people get into it. With how I've enjoyed it so far, I definitely have to give this newer one a try (don't know if it is 4, 5 o 6, but it's definitely a newer gsme than 3).
This one in particular is 6R, so the second newest one in the series. I haven’t played any of the previous games (well, other than the original WMMT6), but I very much enjoy how the cars’ handling is actually similar to real-life go karts in many ways. Definitely hit up the arcades irl too, since that’s where you’ll find the current WMMT that everyone’s playing, that being 6RR haha
@EreNyn3 i live on Venezuela, so unfortunately there's no shot at finding WMMT cabs here. At least I know that I should then take a look at 5DX or 6 on my PC (if I could play on a real arcade tho, that would be fantastic - most of what I hear of WMMT is from how hectic it is in real PVP races)
Yeap PvP is a lotta fun, although it does depend on the kinda people you’re up against haha Most people I know who play are very chill, so races are competitive but not particularly heated. I’ve seen a couple players that take things a bit too seriously though (you can see some vids of those exact types of people on social media clips and such). Personally, I don’t think you’re missing out on too much not being able to try the arcade machine; if you’ve got a solid sim setup at home, you’re definitely getting just as good of an experience (even if you’re not playing online)!
Admittedly, I haven’t actually played any NFS games yet, but I really like how they look aesthetically. Definitely gotta try Most Wanted sooner or later, since I’ve heard the most good things about it!
@@EreNyn3, if you do want to try Most Wanted, be sure to install the mod named Most Wanted Online. It refreshes the game, adds large quantites of new content and allows career completion in multiplayer. If you enjoy the mod but dont't like the looks of the game (the piss yellow filter is ugly), try installing Plak Graphics - a paid-access mod made to work with MWO perfectly. There is a free trial version, however the mod is currently on sale, and as a person owning the copy of Plak Graphics, it's worth every penny.

Reasons why I never want to play this game in the long run, even NFS and Forza had better handling than this TXR ripoff

I’ve always loved the physics in this game the most enjoyable out of all the arcade racers. Even more than things like NFS or Forza!

since you're a racing game fan, may i ask about your opinion on the nfs series games? not just a specific one, but those you have played (if any)

There are a couple tutorials right here on UA-cam that'll tell you everything you need to know and download. It's not too difficult of a process!
