@@thetypewriter6478 p.s. its ok to not like the blocking & favoring something else. Its not for everyone even when its popular, to each their own really.
@@AGKaiju There's no definitive way to test VS skill, tho Boost On battling is the popular way of challenging one's VS skills. Its down to personal taste.
I loved WMMT at first, but once I noticed I can't compete in WMMT cleanly I don't want to continue playing it. I wanted clean racing and going all in on this will only bring about bad habits.
Imo Go all out is more you need to maintain or try not to mess up which is more realism since in real life racing youre constantly ensure youre catching up or maintain your first place and if you messed up your lining its gonna cost the match which is better than those mfs who are being brake blocking
All Out Racing pretty much impossible, only if my others racer dare to hit that pedal to turn off, but it became intensively clean for battle although if you made mistakes, welp that's it but that's whay happened in real racing

what were the difficulties?

everyone on my area called it a mode for cowards who scared to block

Totally agreed with you on this ... I dropped the game because of the childish nature of the 'dirty' play@@djtroopers
@@thetypewriter6478 Unfortunately its Namco to blame since they did nothing to penalize blocking from the get go.

A true way to test a racer's skill, and a true way to see if a Blue/Green Aura is befitting.
IMO VS skills boil down to:
Boost On - Battling skill
Boost Off - Actual Racing skill

@@djtroopers True that. The scape of battle's changed over the many games.

@@X1erra I respect your opinion and preferences. I feel WMMT has a flawed perception of "clean racing" IMO.
Little fact that none of the player in my area knows this feature (excluding me)
Did try it once and it's really hard to catch up against
@@t4kum1zero95 People who don't know about Go All Out are caught off guard by how you can't recover from your mistakes.
The problem of maining lightweight cars in this game is that you get tossed around like alot.
PvP with the MR2 was a pain in the butt for me.
Using cars like MR2 in Handicap off is even worse. Sometimes, cars with better acceleration will pull away in an instant.

@@redbunn2282 Catch is WMMT doesn't have the right mechanics and *an actual ruleset (just like IRL Racing)* to make Go All Out actually worth it.
@@redbunn2282 and tbh as someone who's tried every VS format & style, I prefer blocking over Go All Out. I respect your opinion tho.

@@Mx64MaxyImpress I don't see real racing as the issue, its how WMMT's physics and lack of rules go against the idea of racing clean.
It may be not the most fun mode of all, but I really wanna do this mode so bad, if I have friends that are into wmmt..
It is worth giving a shot with friends, only if y'all are into actual clean racing though.
Its just not a very great experience. If all players have equal skill level the race results are pretty much determined from the start.
@@JoeKoh27 That's why Go All Out is very one-sided. Its focus on "actual racing" sacrifices intense competition.
