you're actually on lower side of uptiers. 5.3 and 5.7 especially doesnt always have lineups for all nations. 6.0, 6.3 and 6.7 vehicles are more common. And it's still playable. Because good luck when uptiered from like 7.3-7.7 to 8.3-8.7 and face apfsds, stabs, laser rangefinders, when you have solid shot no stab.
Most people play the 6.0 tiger, forcing games to often hit 6.0 a lot. This is due to the tiger 1 being moved from 5.3 to 5.7, basically meaning people force uptiers for the better version, if they can.
Tip, never use the brakes to stop and take a shot with the panther, just release the accelerator and let it coast, there will be a brief window of time where the gun will be super atable while still moving.
The Panther is so artificially bouncy. If you look at videos of them, they're pretty stable and then in WT it's worse than any other tank in the game despite having a very stable system.
It's not. It's pretty realistic. The panther seems bouncy because of how War Thunder controls. There is no easy way to smoothly accelerate or brake smoothly. it's either full throttle or full braking with keyboard controls, so it seems exaggerated. On a controller, if you know how to drive, you can keep it very steady.
Absolutely love the Panther line-up. Best performance for me has always been the Ausf. D, but the slow turret traverse just limits you a lot worse than the reverse speed. Panther G is quite fun to play. Also, I wouldn't recommend trying to brawl with a Panther (due to the reverse speed and shi**y side armor). They are best for longer range engagements imo.
Yea but the problem is there is not many maps left where you can use that long range in your favor. Majority of maps are way to small and require brawling
10:10 fun fact is the Panther gun is so ridiculously strong you can upper front plate the Jumbo in that situation. Thats why I barely play the jumbo anymore is the long 88 and 75s you face every game make armour irrelevant
Yea would say panthers G is the best defensive version where as I found the A as the better aggressive panther due to turret traverse and mobility even if minor. Best I’ve learned to angle the panther is using rocks or debris to maximize the frontal armor while minimizing the killshots on the side angle. Fortunately going slow enough around 8mph is a poor mans stabilizer. No reversal is true, dont reverse if you do you have to go forward to do it and turn around unfortunately.
My problem with the panther is that everyone and thier mother knows its weakspots which probably stems from it being a tagret in the test drive for most nations. To mitigate this you need to engage defensively and and at range and that is just not my playstyle.
I love the panthers but my play style is passive for most vehicles. I do however find myself shouting when I end up in a spot where I need reverse lol.
You kinda suck in your panther. Panthers are excellent tanks, even at close quarters, you just need to to understand how to turn corners. The reverse speed issue exists even with British tanks. Its best to travel in groups of 2 or 3 in case someone makes a mistake. These are not super tanks, but very capable tanks.
@@DawgIVLife sorry, I dont know what those are but please dont remove this miserable sound from your videos of vehicles you dont like, it's hilarious. Also I think you'll enjoy the fast humwee thing which ie from Japan I think?
I got bullied by these in my 4.7 lineup and now I get so much joy lol penning them using an IS-2. Also the ammo change is here? I've been playing air arcade a lot so I haven't really paid attention to ground lately Edit: I consider panthers my opps and it's on sight
The buff is already in the game, where APHE has stronger spalling and the cone of the round keeps traveling through the tank. Reduced fragmentation spalling is not in yet and still needs to be voted on again.
The APHE buff was not voted on and was coming to the game no matter what. The APHE nerf which was the fragmentation cone still needs to be voted on again and it has to be a majority for it to be implemented.
@@JackTheNoober the turret traverse: 💀 If you're going by BR then the VK-3002 is better. it absolutely obliterates 4.0 and 4.3 when in downtiers. Sure its total dookie in uptiers but it is also is very fast mobility wise. Not very good turret traverse either but the downtiers allow u to get killstreaks against KV-1s, 75 shermans, and the mid T-34 models
@@PilotPRT I don't understand, the turret traverse wasn't that huge of an issue for me personally. At first it took some time to get used to but after that it's no biggie. You just need to anticipate a lot and spin the turret ahead of time and use the turret lock thingy a lot. Personally for me the D model is in the perfect sweet spot, enough mobility, protection and firepower in a sweet spot of BR. I don't think a little bit of turret traverse is worth jumping to 6.0 because that BR is a hell. Every single game uptier where you keep facing the Americas 6.7-7.0 MONSTER lineups. Man I wish Tiger 1H was still 5.3 :'( I used to play only 5.3 Germany for a long long time. I unlocked the Tiger 2s, Leopard 1 and Marders with just 5.3
@@PilotPRT can be played somewhat on urban areas too. Just pre aim the turret and don't over extend so you have friends on your sides. But yeah I personally like more sniping and ambush tactic.
Ah I am not the only one man I have a stupid high kd in the other panthers like 2-2.5 ish This thing? I can’t even get it past tier 2 modifications Something about it just urks me for some reason
Most german tanks are hit or miss, the br change for the tiger 1, basically killed it because you always will use the 6.0 version over it, due to the better top hat. Panthers suck ass, they are slow in every respect, their turret is shockingly easy to pen and that doesn't even count the hat weak spot. Meaning they can easily be out flanked, or flat out penned by many other med tanks in it's br. When the Shermans still have a better turret, speed and rotation. The panther does have a good gun, how ever I often just take tigers if I have them on roster because their turret gets penned less.
Panther is a sniper at heart, dont push too close
Also getting used to playing without reverse helps a lot
How tf 7/10 of my games at 5.3 and 5.7 are in full uptier?

6.7 is very popular
@revan22 got 8 8.7 games back to back playing 7.7 Britain... it's pure suffering, especially with the helis🫠

honestly, if given the choice between the tiger e and a panther A I always prefer the tiger, not sure why
For me it’s the over pressure round if it pens the other tank is 100% going to be knocked out.
@DawgIVLife ya the OPhe round is great, even better if you're fighting German players. Shell eats panthers for breakfast
I think the vk is really good just because the br. It doesnt get sucked into 6.7
I've noticed heat rounds have a 50 50 chance to one tap panthers no matter where it gets hit
Not every Panther suffers. The Panther 2 is my love
Panther 2 is amazing
One of my all time best. Just shows how play styles can vary. Patience is a skill all to itself.
THX BRO it’s my favorite panther you can get in the tech tree

Man, I thought I was the only person that hated the panther for its flaws. Bouncy gun, reverse speed and all the other stuff that plagues it
