Like... he'll NEVER go ANYWHERE ELSE on that map from now on assuming he ever did, It's a terrible position that gets players killed 999,999 times out of a million and he'll also feel validated with his tier3 camonet and binos setup and probably no food. Good for him I suppose...

When WG decided that your average 40er should be given a good scoring game to keep him hooked on the illusion he has a clue. Then you get games like this.
I once did 10k damage in a similar situation from one position on Stalingrad in the FV4005 shooting only AP rounds and penning all of them. It happens

That enemy team is how Wot makes money, they are fully special.
Perfect scenario. ELC had the vision, Prot stayed put and kept his flank safe, and most of his team weren’t in a position to shoot any of those tanks. Any other time the Mauschen and Kunze panzer would have been obliterated in about 2 seconds with all the guns trained on them.
It's like going beach on overlord, it works once in a blue moon and that 1 time sticks in the mind so they will always go there just like this td sit at base and they will come to you.
As soon as he was on the last shell, I was like "It would be hilarious if he ammo racked somebody with that last shell" hahahahaha

A few years ago I saw Jaga replay doing around 12k from F7-G8 area. More or less as dumb as that. But hey, you must hit what is to be hit to get such result first.

They could make the Grille 15 so much better if they gave it this gun in a fully rotatable turret with some more DPM as second gun option. Would be the same concept as the 2 preceding tanks in the line. Small gun for DPM and consistency or BIG gun for LOLs

Could be one these rigged battles. So many tourists, I have never seen this.
Now I know where the rest of the playerbase luck has gone, to this one battle where you sit in one bush, enemies don't blind shoot you at all, go in the open repeatedly, rng directs your shots like god and to top it off you even get an ammo rack at the end 😂😂 lottery is probably easier to win
I'm actually more shocked that the ELC didn't just pop. Whenever I sit on Malinovka T8+ whatever light stands in that bush is usually dead within 3 minutes due to repeated blindshots.

Yeah this is why campers don't move, out of 1k games this guy did this and the other 949 were prolly a lot less influential. I have trouble playing like this and I certainly won't sit in base, and indeed, we are prolly playing it wrong in our triangles. lol

This isn't a 1 in a 1000 games. Most players will never have a battle with 13k damage in a 100k+ battles. This was a combination of quite a bit of good rng and two completely incompetent teams. If I was the WT here, I wouldn't have been at the house, neither would I have done 13k damage in any other position I would have chosen. Takes some special kind of luck on luck to get this.
But yea, judging by his stats, he doesn't influence many games at all. The way he played here seems to be reflected across most of his games.
I'm pretty sure that this "CobraAspect" character is a Wargaming employee, I'd say that last shot gave it away 😛

The ELC did the job as he was seeing everything he could kill from the static position.
Being rewarded for camping , even in the softest is still a rare day to given that many shots. I 3marked this tank long ago , and realized the only way to do that was to push and make shire you always had targets but I guess when the targets always come to you ?
I think this is one of the main things that keep people playing WoT. Even if you're not an amazing player, as long as you keep pumping out games, you can occasionally just get lucky and have an amazing game to show of the stats for.
By the end I was thinking: He's not gonna get what I think Daki is hinting at, right? RIGHT?

This is just the perfect illustration to explain why damage records in WoT are meaningless and rarely deserve to be featured in any other way than "This player got blessed by extreme luck".

This makes a good case for defensive play, however on the standard 15-0 game which lets be honest happens 9/10 times, an aggressive play style will pay off more.

I love how with the final shot, he very clearly missed, and shot at the 257's gun, but then the game just quickly corrects that happy lil accident he had, and teleports the shell to the middle of the 257's turret, then rewards him with an ammo rack to boot

Waffle is my most fav tank. I did my record for 9000 dmg, and I always play in heavy lines. My average dmg with this is 5k.
My setup is rammer, turbo, and improved rotation.
And I don't have improved aiming in all of my tanks because rng does the works.
You can't have vents on the waffle because it is an open topped vehicle
