This is why it’s been so helpful for me to know Jesus. Because the whole point is I’m not worthy, and I’m accepted by Him despite my failings. And He takes me as I am but doesn’t just leave me there. Instead He makes me more like Him, helps me to do better, which is something I can’t do on my own. Whoever’s reading this, I’m not sure if you’re a Christian or know Jesus, but it’s the most important decision you could ever make. To admit your failings and all the things you’ve done wrong, believe in His death and resurrection, and rely on His goodness and perfection to have a good relationship with God instead of your own efforts. Because God is so holy and blameless, he can’t be around sin. All of us have messed up at one point or another, and that means that we can’t be near God in heaven, and we are actually deserving of Hell. Nobody can make their way to God on their own. His free gift of knowing Him is so precious and will change your life, both now and after death. God gives so much peace, and I highly recommend asking a pastor or a Christian friend about it.
this can be really hard as a yt creator especially, it seems like an endless production cycle. I love it and am also overwhelmed by it- also in the context of capitalism when you aren't making $ from it it seems like a "waste of time".
