I have been driving a '67 Valiant Signet 4 door with a 225 and automatic, as my "daily" for OVER 24 CONTINOUS years now! Like that one, the looks are modest to be kind... But she sure is RELIABLE, and so simple to do any work on when needed!

I daily drive a '67 Valiant Acapulco, the Mexican "equivalent" to the US's Signet. It sports the 4-on-the-floor stick coupled to the 225 (all stock), is a pillarless 2-door hardtop (stock too) and already comes with those round side marker lamps. On the flip side, it came with not even a heater or dash vents for that matter. Unique car at that, but reliable as a dependable workhorse and every bit as pleasurable to drive as is a head turner too.

I have one of the last '76 Valiant sedans- it is very strangely optioned. Low-trim line, but had a V8, HD suspension w/swaybars, HD cooling (26" radiator, shroud , clutch fan), map light, passenger side mirror, carpet.

Those lights on the side are not turn signals they are side marker lights. One year only and they do light up whereas the following year 1969 rectangular side markers do not light up but are only reflective lenses.
