A couple of things have already stood out to me. These podcasts are paramount for the black community. For those who may not know, the Lavar that Micah referenced when discussing mistakes, is former Penn State and NFL linebacker Lavar Arrington. I am pointing this out for a couple of reasons: it’s good to hear Lavar working behind the scenes mentoring younger men. He wasn’t always shown in the best light during his playing days. Good work. Secondly, I gotta give some love to Micah for not only talking to Lavar, but actually using Lavar’s mistakes as tools for his own success. So often in the black community, we use someone’s mistakes seemingly as a challenge to repeat the mistake and try to improve upon them. I know that is a broad generalization, but I can only speak from my experiences.
Your absolutely spot on with this, actually what many dont know is Lavar was on Radio in DC on 106.7 for years and he talked about mentoring the younger guys at Penn State all the time and also mentoring youth in the DMV as well. Lavar poured out his life experiences to so many so that we didn't make those same mistakes in our lives.

Not to say he doesn't already have that in him but to have a conversation with greatness and know that you got that love and respect from some legendary dogs, it makes you feel so damn welcome wherever you are going. I'm a Bears and Buckeye's fan and I wish we woulda drafted Micah. Love his game and his character, hopefully Fields proves me wrong but I am happy for him getting drafted by his childhood team.

This show is what IAA was... You learn about people, you hear sound advice, you get to know how people think and feel. And no one is trying to sell you shit. And most of all, no one is interrupting trains of thought.
You hatin on IAA?? Bran & Chad are dope together. In it can be more than one podcast like these bro.
@@juiceplanet147 I`m not hating on anything. It`s just facts.

This is great conversation and I think a lot of incoming guys need this kind of support. It leaves you with a greater sense of "I can't f*** this up." Not to say he doesn't already have that in him but to have a conversation with greatness and know that you got that love and respect from some legendary dogs, it makes you feel so damn welcome wherever you are going. And that's with everything in life and I think too many are missing this sort of love from family, friends, community and all facets of society. Mentorship is a beautiful thing.
this show was f'n awesome, i was totally glued to it from the beginning to the end, as a Cowboy fan i am so impressed with Micah's mindset, maturity & hunger to be great, he is so special.
Micah's so smart. He's going to be an all time great.
I’M LOVING THE PODCAST!!!! I don’t believe I’ll be a cowboys fan again but I’m definitely a Micah Parsons fan because of this interview and I’ve always been a Michael Irvin fan. Thank y’all for allowing us to see this young King’s personality and wisdom outside of football
OH MY GOD! This officially my number 1 podcast now!
As a fan of Micah & the Cowboys this is so dope to show the type of person Micah really is to the world on the field & off. Pivot going Up⤴️
