Man, it felt good to watch the Rangers play a high energy, focused 60 mins and keep fighting all the way. Feels like it’s been a while since they’ve played this type of game. Colorado is fierce and Georgiev always seems to bring his A+ game against NYR. Quick was also brilliant. A win to build on!
The second period had it's issues but I liked their game. They kept it competitive and close, not too many mistakes and defended well. Hopefully this is a tone setting win.

Oh man it was low scoring but pretty exciting. Both goalies we sharp tonight, congrats to Quick and the Rangers.

Georgiev is going to be toast by the time May rolls around, mans already started 42 games this year
I miss him, he's fantastic but he seems like he has to get a shutout every game to win
This was as close to playoff hockey as it gets id like to see this in a series for the cup
Quick was a brick wall….then he gets an apple in ot. He’s on another level this year
Yeah but MacDickhead almost picked it off. Glad it worked out but very risky play by Quick.
Oh, but Quick had a rotten apple in that OT! That clear by Quick, was like a Beer League goalie! Most times they get picked off. That puck had eye's to get past MacKinnon!

@@basicmeme1040 Because he's one of the great players in the game today, and will be of all time, I'm sure. But he wastes it on being a raging psychopath with barely a conscience to speak of. Screaming at refs, screaming at other players and his own teammates, even screaming at his coach during a game while on the bench in front of fans. Several times he cost his team games, and even cost the Avs the entire series last year against the Kraken. The freak should have been banned from the league until he got his severe anger management issues under control.

@@josemaur5338 no, the coach planned on quick playing right away after the all star break because they want shesterkin working more with the goalie coach before he plays again. He is looking more and more like a flash in the pan. He had a fluke season and hasn't been good since.

I've never seen a more undeserving win for the fans. They spent 60 min crying about how bad their team is, "no heart", "Wheeler has no wheels" ect, and then they squeak out an OT win, terrible. The fans never deserved that second point, let alone the first.
