Glad the NHL let the Avalanche have a chance at redeeming themselves after a shootout loss by letting play OT afterwards. Bettman truly is a man of hockey!
They must have started using AI. All yesterday's highlights are over 10m long, which is different than the past. Many clips too long or too short. And this is the second backwards timeline I've seen recently.

@@soulknife20 I would disagree and agree because even though Igor kept us in the game we kept scoring consistently and did not end up losing and it wasn’t a 1-0 win or 2-1 win we had offense going and were keeping up with the Avs at some points even leading them in plays
@Lilith-daughter-of-hatred keep in mind that Trouba, our best defensive defensemen, and Gustaffson, one of our best, have been out. Also, Fox was out for the last few minutes and the 5 minute overtime.

@@saunator Банки, мобильные операторы тоже бесплатно присылают всякие оповещения об акциях, новых тарифах, услугах и проч. Это не означает, что они должны халтурно относиться к своей работе. Тот же Перглер получает деньги за свою работу, поэтому надо добросовестно выполнять её.

Frustrating game for Georgiev. He plays well against his old team but a weird bang bang play on the Kakko goal and a bad bounce making the second goal unsavable.

So, even if you tilt your head, squint, and call Trochek's deflection a "hand pass" ... does everyone just miss that Georgiev touched it next?
This was one of the few games this year I didn't see live, and I have to say, they really mucked up the highlights for this game. I would have loved to have seen the overhead view on the game tying goal to confirm that was all Lindgren. Likewise, they didn't really give a good view on the Ranger's 2nd goal, and I didn't notice it hit Georgiev. Apparently the announcers didn't catch it either as they seemed to continue discussing it hitting Trochek's glove for a while..
That was a weird way to show the OT/SO replay. I give the guy who came up with it some points for a fancy idea to show the highlights.
The Avs have more opposing fans at home than anyteam I've ever seen, and they won a cup 2 years ago. You'd think they'd be popular in colorado.
It’s because people move to Colorado from other states. We have had a huge influx of people, especially from California and New York. That’s why this state is solid blue because the idiots vote the same way.

@@abnmp7865As a Rangers fan living in Durham the past 4 years, the Canes do have a great fan base now. That said, NY is one of the most popular franchises in hockey. Our fans are everywhere and also travel a lot for the team. Canes vs NJ or some of the other NE teams does not yield the same results at games. I’d assume it’s similar in Colorado.

This Rangers Team looks like read for the Playoffs at the right time
I agree, but I also believe there are at least eight teams that are also ready for the playoffs, and any one of them could win it and I wouldn't be surprised. Carolina, Boston and Florida are all awesome teams, and while there are a few others, I think one of these four will come out of the East. West will be between Colorado and Vancouver.. that's my guess and I'm sticking to it.

How did Mackinnon not get an assist on that goal? What was the reasoning?
Lindgren put it into his own net. An own goal dictates that the last attacking player gets the goal and no other players will get assists. This wouldn’t be the case if it just deflected off him and in, but since he actually played it into his own net, it’s an own goal because the Avalanche no longer had possession or control.

@@TheAbristolWhile the NHL gets many things wrong, they’re generally quite good with stat keeping like goals and assists and will change points later in games or even the next day. Teams can also submit video evidence strictly for the purpose of correctly awarding a goal or an assist so if the avalanche feel like they have a case, they’re welcome to do so.
But I finally saw an overhead angle, and as a neutral fan, I must say, Lindgren directs plays the puck into the net. The idea is that it wouldn’t have even been a goal if not for Lindgren’s direct action (ie it didn’t just bounce off him)
