You can tell you are such a wonderful and caring owner! It makes me so sad when people get dogs to have outside basically. Never take the time to train or love them. He is so cute!❤️

Oh my goodness what a cutie!! He’s definitely really well trained already! When we got our golden retriever at 8 weeks, he didn’t know all those commands yet, and he was psycho! Cooper is such a good boy and I can tell he is well loved. Enjoy his puppy months! They go by too quickly
What a fabulous video for families looking for a new puppy. You had great tips like the blanket to rub on the mother for scent . I have had dogs my entire life ( until a few weeks ago ) and l never thought to do that. Thanks for sharing 🥰

Its hard not to smile watching Cooper. He is so cute!!! Puppies love to bite on us. Not to hurt us but to play. Brody will get more used to him. He's probably been wondering what the heck that like thing is. Lol. I'm impressed how well Cooper listens to voice commands. He's just adorable. ❤❤

We’ve had our Aussie mountain doodle for a few weeks now. Almost identical to Cooper. Also shares the same sharp teeth and biting. We’ve found he loves tug of war with rope toys and that greatly reduces his interest in biting us. Overall, he’s been an amazing addition to the family.

Quite literally one of the cutest dogs ever 😍 also, my oldest, who’s 6, so badly wants a dog so this is helping me learn a little bit of how to care for a dog/ potty train! Loved that when he bit your shirt you didn’t shame him, smack him or scream you redirected with an interesting toy he could chew on instead! I’m in love and I’ve never even met him 😆🥰

Cooper is so adorable you really did your homework when bringing him home and crate training. My son recently got a white lab for my granddaughter a service dg for autism he is now at a trainer to prepare him to help. I love puppies ❤️❤️❤️

If he takes after the Australian Shepherd side, do not expect him to be chilled like the Newfie. At least not for the first 3 or so years. lol I have had Australian Shepherds for years. He looks just like a giant size Australian Shepherd. He is so pretty. You are all going to need a boat load of patience. That puppy is gong to need it. You are doing great with him. He may be too much for the small children for a while. Lots of training and exercise will be the key. Aussies need their mind exercised as much as their body. They are very smart. I don't know about the Bernese Mountain dogs. Other than they are beautiful. The Aussie's were bred for a very different purpose than the Berners. So you wont know what to expect out of them. So just roll with it. :o) And I LOVE the peanut butter trick to keep him occupied.

He is adorable. He probably likes the tile much better than any carpet. I know my Cooper, who is about that size fully grown, likes the wood better than carpet. It keeps him cooler. He is amazing that he knows so much already. Maybe you could teach my dogs some of that. My Cooper knows to sit. But he’s the only one. Can’t wait to see how big he gets.

please make sure Brodie gets extra love and cuddles. They do feel slighted and replaced when a new puppy comes in. My son got a new french bulldog and the 2 year old bulldog was sad and melancholy for a few weeks . Now they are best friends but it takes awhile. Also 3 pairs of shoes and a ruined coffee table from chewing were unfortunate sacrifices.
That’s so true! We’ve been giving Brody a lot of one on one walks and outings with us and he played with the puppy for the first time last night 🥰

Cooper is adorable! You are doing such a great job with him!! Just a thought… maybe an old towel in the bottom of the sink when you bathe him to help with traction. In my experience dogs do not like slippery surfaces to stand on.
Go to the pet store and get him a Nyla bone from Petsmart. When he wants to nibble force that on him. they can chew it and it won't harm them they do come in flavors. My current dog I got at 5 weeks old, I was happy that she didn't chew on furniture or blankets or shoes or slippers. But she is very deependant on us and hates to be alone. but I wouldn't trade her for the world. She had some bathroom issues but we crated her for about 2 weeks and she had it down pat. She's now 15. good luck with the pup. Your older dog may come around and teach his brother a few things.

Hi Jess! I just got a new pup too. I agree with you about Brodie perhaps being a little less passive. My 3yr old is such a sweet girl I want her to maybe let him know where to get off (lol). We'll be on this journey together so keep us posted😊

What’s beautiful puppy you have! The biting and chewing is the worse part but hopefully it’s short lived. OMG, when you said get odd the counter! There’s no safe zone with big dogs but he will become a teddy bear before too long! I hope you keep sharing your life with a new puppy, seems comparable to have a baby in some aspects. Lol

Aww so cute and sadly we lost our male cavalier to heart failure and had to make the heartbreaking decision no owner wants to make. We lost his sister suddenly 8 months ago when she went out to the toilet and dropped down and passed away at age 10, her brother was 13. Your first babies are beautiful and I’m in Australia and wonder how many breeders over there of that breed?

That's a strange combination. I bet he's going to be the snuggliest puppy ever. I have a full Aussie and she's the biggest Velcro dog. Berners are supposed to be the same so I guess you're never leaving the house without him lol
