Tricky got really freaky in these animations Also the Ending with the distant gunshots sent some chills. A nice tie in with the Madness Combat 9 where Deimos gets shot to death.
Gotta love hank as a character. Normally when someone see's an identical version of themselves they usually sit there stunned and confused. When hank see's himself he Immediately tried to kill him, no questions asked.
It's taken me some time to recognize some of the nuances here. Krinkles has really learned two things. Threat, and Target prioritization. Which is fucking awesome. I watched his streams... I think it was last year... and during his Madness Day stream, there was a video, that had the engineers face masks actually be bullet proof. Krinkles liked the idea so much, he's began implementing it. Which is fucking amazing. What I find even more amazing though is that, that has bred, diversified enemies and Target prioritization. Soldats are now the only ones who can keep up with Hank. They're aggressive, they dodge his attacks, they flip, they engage in melee combat. There're a force to be reckoned with. Engineers are starting to show a lot more intelligence and battle sense. Which also plays well into their, now Bulletproof masks. They're allowed to analyze the battlefield with less risk of getting shot in the face for it. It provides them with time to think. That's pretty goddamn cool. This new direction to choreography has allowed the A.T.P.'s to express themselves. And that expression has also evolved Hank into someone who can prioritize his targets. Now he has to choose which one to fight, because when a soldat enters a room he understands that the soldat is the priority. They're the ones that pose the highest threat. This all in all this is a fantastic evolution. It's actually making the appreciate the soldats a little more. I always thought they were lame because they were just agents with an eyepiece. They weren't unique like engineers. Well... now, that's changed. Keep it up, Krinkles. This new direction of your fight choreography is the tits. ALSO: another thing i've noticed. It's Hank! He's still Hank. After all this time there's still a personality behind him. I spent a long time watching other people's animations and returning to a crinkles animation really just shows how strongly choreographed Hank's personality is. He still has a sick sense of humor. And I love that. The kind of person to kill dudes for style points. The guy who would chuck a phone mid conversation. Taunt a soldat for his eye piece. Shoot a clown in the face to make a nose in his faceplate. Kill 10 men for a hot drink that he stole, but was later stolen back from him. Hank looks up meat tenderizing techniques while torturing a person with a spatula, because he likes to sound it makes.
"Hank looks up meat tenderizing techniques while torturing a person with a spatula, because he likes the sound it makes". Where and when did that happen? Also nice analysis.
@@BananaTrooper3650 it's never actually happened. The point I was making is that, it's in Hank's personality to do that very specific thing. It's twisted. It's dark. It's funny. And to add even more flavor, Hank would probably be wearing either a apron or a chef hat as well. It's his sick sense of humor. Something that did happen is how happy and excited he was to kill after finding a giant blender.
Well he did murder 30-32 guys over a boombox dispute. And if Madness Interactive is anything to go by, he was probably trying to kill the sheriff in episodes 2 and 3 over a pie betrayal. Truly a hero of the people
A few things showcasing the capabilities of the AAHW, especially ATP Soldats. 0:54 Soldat flips up to dodge, punches Hank. 1:27 Rare moment where an Engineer’s mask stops a bullet. 1:50 Soldat dodges blade twice; tries to get a hit but is blocked. 2:08 Soldat flips to dodge again; hovers mid-air while swinging blade, like Hank. So he’s not the only one who abuses physics. Tried to punch; blocked. 3:12 Soldat had a clean shot - but Hank deflected the rounds. 4:28 Soldat disarms Hank. AAHW needs to teach their agents to predict where Hank will dodge his way to. A lot of people had a clear shot on him but he always jumps and dashes everywhere, even jumping when he didn’t see the Engineer pointing a gun at his back - right before he shoots. AAHW is not incompetent. Their enemies are just more experienced.
I also noticed slight difference in how each of Hanks deal with agents. Antipathy is generally more violent but he's shown to be struggling against Soldats specifically as while MC7 Hank less brutal but more careful, taking out soldats without even getting hit.
@@reidj2226 It's a really neat detail as Antipathy Hank fights the Soldats aggression with his own aggression, which is in the Soldat's element so they're actually effective against him while MC7 Hank fights in ways that abuse the Soldat's low intelligence and short-fused temper that let's him dispatch them much more efficiently despite being less aggressive.
@@joshuakim5240 Like in part 1 when he taunts the first soldat he sees for only having one eye. It causes the soldat to react and he ends up trying to shoot a desert eagle with one hand.
The Hanks just have crazy OP reaction speed paired with near perfect battle sense , it's how he dodged the attacks that are supposed to be instant / break the laws of physics
Man, Tricky's gotten hella more eldritch and freaky. Here, he's channeling some serious body horror compared to the whole supernatural horror in the previous animations.
@Demon Slayer Could be the reverse - the skeleton is Tricky's true self while he uses random grunts as unwitting avatars. Note that when jawless Hank shoved a chainsaw onto the skeleton's brain, the Tricky grunt followed the skeleton's movement like a puppet.
this is the faithful representation of madness, it is bloodthirsty, terrifying and full of the impossible, every time Krinkels surpasses himself and it shows a lot, the day he says "this is the true ending" he will have left us with the best internet series of history, being totally honest, I'm so glad I grew up in this community, I love all this, when I get to see the end of the series, you will see me with a Hank cosplay (even though I'm half fat but I I will try) and I will have on my arm tattooed with the words "do what comes natural"
He also does so with the player character in M:PN Arena in a number of ways of which I will not spoil here, but all the text mentioning S3LF's and dissonance are leading me to believe the game has a bit more bearings on the canon than it appears.
@@thebepisman8924 I believe that's probably true anyways, I just remember seeing at some point he said otherwise maybe on a wiki page, but I could have dreamt that up or something. Either way, gotta wonder how it all ties up chronologically, if it does in the first place
This newest one confirms that if you trapped two Hanks in a box, they'd just fight each other endlessly until one is dead. He's less of a person and more of a *force of nature.*
@@infinityheart_tm9270 And a machine doesn’t question or think about what it is tasked, it simply calibrates its best move to further the task at hand.
Well, in consternation hank was tired. And, I feel like consternation hank is more strategical, while antipathy hank is like “BANG BANG GOOBERBLAT.” Antipathy Hank is more aggressive which the retainer didn’t really prepare for, and at the end, Tricky wasn’t expecting two hanks, so he likely stood in shock before dying.
Antipathy Hank has more time to prepare. Both were punched in the same way the first time they encounter the retainer, if it weren't for Tricky, Antipathy would've been like Consternation

and yes, well, since he started fighting because he only wanted to change the music, well there it is, now he will have to live the consequence for making that unnecessary fight!!!
The brief parts where Tricky and Hank "team up" are so cool, now I'm picturing what unending chaos and bloodshed would follow if they were proper allies
I like the fact that it happens purely because Retainer is middle ground asshole that prevents both of them killing each other so they both were "hey fuck you" until Tricky sliced him in pieces.

@@lukandrate9866 cant be, hell itself in nevada is sentient. It knows hank, it sees hank as a tourist due to the number of times he has been revived. Posters from Mc 9.5 part 1 instructs hank to nail down dissenters. While 2Bdamned is indeed playing god, theres so much he can do in hell, he doesnt have full power of it He isnt trying to kill the retainer, more like trying to override the auditors command to retain hank
I just noticed something. The scars on the agents and such are scars from when hank killed them in previous scenes, and they only start appearing after most of the ones that don't have scars die.
7:02 My theory here is that this scene explains why Hank has a creature arm when he is revived in MC 9. This tentacle thing stabbed Hank at the wrong time right as 2bdamned was reviving him, so in turn they got fused together when Hank returned back to Nevada. This also explains how Hank’s Silhouette is a completely new sprite we haven’t seen before as if that WAS going to be what his appearance would be before the tentacle intervened.
This also means that Antipathy Hank, which I assume is the "canon" hank that died before being revived in episode 7, is confirmed as the hank currently alive in nevada- and Consternation Hank, who had his cranium fluted by Jebus's 500 magnum, is still trapped in "the other place" or hell.
@@secondpath5148 i think the consternation hank we see in 9.5 might not be consternation hank. i think it's probably project nexus hank. the design matches up, it's consternation hank with a metal jaw, which are traits both project nexus hank and 9.5 hank have
my favourite bits of this: - MC6 hank isn't even mildly offput by the appearance of an eldritch Tricky - Tricky was chopping up that one retainer for a solid half minute - The flash-punch-thing that the retainers do is basically just what the agent half mag does in M:PN - Hank almost does a move-for-move M:PN style G03LM takedown on the retainer that has since been bisected by Tricky
0:54 Everybody is talking about how good, and how long it's been coming, but nobody is talking about how it's pretty rare in the series when a agent actually manages to get a good hit on Hank, somebody give this man a trophy. Edit: There is a little war going on in the reply section, proceed with caution.
@@Ysumbruh0 in MPN2 in the second campaign mission a soldat in a group with engineers says: “FIRE YOUR WEAPONS” also I think it says something about soldats rank in concept art
I remember being 9 years old in middle school doodling scenes of Episode 5 and loving it . Now I just turned 25 . I am in disbelief that this series is still going on . Saying Krinkles is legendary is an understatement
And it's only because a greater threat exists in the moment. They'd do anything to kill one another, but we've never seen them in such a hazardous environment that even those two have to stop fighting each other. This series just keeps getting better!
What I gathered from this is that every time Hank dies, a clone of him is sent to this other dimension (I think it’s called The Other Place) which explains why antipathy Hank and consternation Hank are both here - since each of them died. I also think that antipathy Hank was chosen since Doc needed the aggressiveness of him to make Hank a half-mag. “FINDING A HANK” on doc’s monitor supports this idea and that multiple clones of his dead self are present in The Other Place. Your talent is impeccable, Krinkels.
Agreed. I have a feeling a colony of dead Hanks exists somewhere in Purgatory. The "Antipathy" Hank goes rogue and ditches rest of the colony, as he, unlike the others, not content with living in Purgatory, and wants to be revived, hence why he fights our Hank. Unfortunately for him, he looses to our Hank.
if that's so. I think we have 3 Trickys at this time period. if I have to guess which is what tricky here is what I think: the tricky we find in 9.5 part 1 is Redeemer Tricky. he seemed to be more focused on trying to figure out what's going on then actually attacking hank. The Tricky here has to be a different one as he generated out a different person. my guess for this one is that he is Avenger Tricky. I don't think its the tricky from Antipathy because he didn't really die but instead took a new form. and the huge skeleton thing is most likely Consternation Tricky. as the skeleton is similar to Ex-Hell Clown.
@@elizabethstein9698 I don't think there's a "colony" so much as there's a whole bunch of individual Hanks indiscriminately killing their way through Hell, killing anything in their path - including other versions of themselves if they happen to run into each other like here. Because that's just how Hank likes it.
God that chat was fuckin legendary Also, a few things: - There are two Hanks because this is Hank's personal hell (Other Side) - Deimos' and Hank's Hell are two separate things - The ending was Hank getting MAGnified in M9, which would also be when Dedmos Adventure takes place
But the Antiphaty Hank become one of that red fire grunts from part 11 Maybe he was the one of red fire grunts who fight Tricky in that weird red beam in the purgatory keeping him distracted so the improve MAG Hank could expurge Tricky
Maybe those “types” we saw when 2BDAMNED was trying to locate Hank was different Hanks left behind every time he got revived. Instead of just shoving Hank right back into his body, it creates a copy of his “soul” every time and the previous version gets left in Hell. We saw MC2 Hank in the Dedmos adventures, it’s possible that it wasn’t a hallucination or trick, but actually part of Hell seeping into Deimos’ purgatory on accident. Basically, the Improbability Drive just kept creating copies of Hank, most likely thanks to Tricky.
2BDAMNED was probably trying to grab MC7 Hank since he was the latest Hank in the chain but accidentally grabbed MC6 Hank instead. So Mag Hank is basically MC6 Hank who never went through Madness 7.
Wow, what an episode it was, great stuff again by Krinkels. Fun Fact: At 7:28, you can hear gunshots. This was during Madness 9: Aggregation when Deimos threw Hank into the Magnification Chamber, and was shot behind by an ATP Engineer. Pretty cool connection, little details like that makes the world feel more alive.
Something I don't see mentioned nearly enough is the absolutely stellar sound design. One standout example is at 4:44 with that metallic 'screech' when the Retainer aims the spikes at Tricky - it really sells just how much force is being imparted into those spikes, and how powerful the Retainer's attacks are in general. Another example is the magnum from 5:56 onwards, it just sounds so goddamn meaty and powerful, like being shot with that thing would straight up split your skull open.
So great to be watching new Madness 20 years later! From browsing Newgrounds on a dial-up AOL account in middle school, to seeing live premieres on UA-cam as an adult. Krinkels and Cheshyre are legends!
Watching it I noticed that that agent may be the sheriff, after all is the only "important" character that doesnt died of any other way besides the headshot in madness combat 3
@@nou7009 I have this theory too which is further reinforced by the fact that the giant binary sword appears in the background during this scene, symbolizing how Hank met his end in MC3. Plus the scared behavior of the character is very much Sheriff like, I'm sure that MC2 Hank would have at least tried to fight back. Yes, the Sheriff has been revived for MPN, but just like Hank, he might have left his previous S3lf in this Other place and got new, more confident one as we have seen in the game.
I really love whenever Hank does his signature "shooting/fighting without looking at his back" like at 1:25 where he just points and threatens the grunt to stay there while he slaughter a LEET and Soldat without even looking. Really reinforced the fact that everytime Hank dies (from Jebus) it's because he's not guarding his back.
It's the other place. Time and Locality there doesn't makes sense. Hank should exit from left door, agents got prepared but Hank got in middle door because it's a Fucking other place, nothing makes sense.
Fun detail that you can realize, at 6:02 the engineer had a clear shot but hesitated since one of his comrades was already engaging in melee combat with the MC 7 hank
@@timeslice Well in a lot of cases the fodder have been willing to shoot/kill their own to try and kill Hank. Though maybe it's more to do with dying in the Hell Reality, since there's a good chance you don't die, but get rebuilt looking more messed up, like those Agents with the scarring on their faces.
@@tonts5329 also at the 1:53, the agent tried to hit the hank, as a result, he killed the soldier. This once again shows that the A.T.P. engineer is smarter than the agent and that krinkels love details.
@@Bruj_momnt Got to love the detailed dichotomy of the ATP corps. The Engineers are more careful and methodical due to their role as squad leaders while the Soldats are just going balls-to-the-wall recklessly berserk with their aggression, with both of these tactics having moments of ups and downs depending on the situation. They work super well in tandem but the fodder that fills their ranks end up getting in the way or not working with their ATP superiors correctly since they're not as skilled.
See ATP Soldats getting more skillful in terms of being aggressive, just as their traits listed in 7.5, I love it. Hope to see the engineers take a leadership role similar in Dissenter. Love Madness.
that was a damn good episode, krink the possibilities and questions this opens up with is intriguing to say the least… keep it up man, you’ve only been getting better
The ATP troops in both parts of 9.5 are really tough compared to earlier iterations, shooting much more often, dodging, blocking hits, being able to trade blows, and being way more aggressive in how they fight. Really does make them stand out more as elite forces rather than yellow agents.
The Soldats are actually much more competent, actually landing couple of blows and dodging some of Hank's shots, and even one instance of a soldat disarming Hank while he's mid air.
@gamerbot 100 I mean yeah, at least Soldats are clearly superior to other enemies in animations. They are the only AAHW units whose can react fast things like Hank's hits or bullets, and the only non-mag AAHW units who showed to be able to take very few blows from characters like Sanford and Deimos in animations (MC 7.5)
Well waddya know, this was released exactly 4 hours after I finally sat down and watched the series for the first time. It's incredible how well it holds up and I immediately get why it's such a big- OH GOD THE ONE FROM EPISODE 6 IS BACK
2:59 I just realized that hank squinted his eyes when tricky yelled at detainer or whatever his name was. I love the attention of detail madness combat has.
True. Also, I noticed that it's almost the same squint when gave when he was on top of the train in MC6. I'm not sure if this was intentional, but if so, that would be super neat imo
I don't know why but I feel like the Clown has always been more... cooperative with the Antipathy Hank than the other versions of him. May be from the more violent behavior this version of Hank has.
@@SycrithTheSquid Thats the thing i was thinking of. The *C L O W N* wants him to be his target, and dont want anyone else to kill him. Its the more reason why he is protecting him at times, and revives him when it doesn't seem fun enough for tricky.
mhm, he's given hank a weapon to fight him with before so they would have a fair fight. In this animation we see him spare hank(until the next room anyway) and he was content with allowing hank to go to the next room while he delt with the retainer in another, so I'd say he holds some respect for him
Its quite interesting how all 3 major character went through hell, and each conquered it in its own style. Hank is the most brutal, Deimos is confused mostly, Sanford just takes it and tries to cope with it. And then there is Tricky, doing his own thing
engi's an upgraded Human, its really fitting that he just simply does that after all. maybe being somewhat altered biogically makes your 'fear of death' or 'sense of preservation' be minor? i dunno, still a cool scene.
I love the details in this one at 1:48 when hank deflects the bullets the weapon breaks because it’s a high caliber pistol and at 3:13 when he deflects the mac 10 bullets it does not break because of the smaller caliber Edit: I just realized hank used a bat to deflect the Mac 10 bullets So it must be a metal bat
Tricky really is one of my favourite fictional characters ever. I don't know how Krinkels managed it, but just the way Tricky's unhinged and uncontrollable nature come through so strongly simply through the animation alone and no dialogue is impressive. I also think the design with the red clown tufts and the Madness + sign for a face work really well. I think Tricky manages to pull off the + sign face the best, as pretty much every other Main Character in Madness Combat has additions that make it to where they no longer have the + as a main feature on their face. I think it makes Tricky more iconic in a way. Tricky is so cool, dude. I like how his powers are less refined but more speedy and have a lot of kinetic energy behind him. When Tricky is on screen, I'm always like >.> for whoever is unfortunate enough to be in his way. Whether its Hank, Deimos, Sanford, Jeebus, The Auditor or whoever. Personally my favourite rivalry in the series. Hank and Tricky go together so well and I'm always excited to watch them fight. There are other full Series/Movies with deep characters, high budgets and voice acting and what have you, but Tricky and Hank are somehow more compelling than a lot of them and they don't even have dialogue. Well done again, Krinkels 🙏 We will all be looking forward to potential future installments.
Somehow, I feel like the AAHW is giving their absolute all at this point, knowing that there's nothing left for them at all. I feel like they are even more aggressive now than ever before, desperately and determinedly trying to destroy Hank
The A.A.H.W had enough of Hank. Hell made them so desperate & aggressive that they really need & literally need to kill Hank. They are so angry & mad for getting killed over & over again that their brains & heart are now filled with anger & determination! However, Hank proves to be the more aggressive one. Which means he doesn't care about how angry they are because of Tricky. He's too powerful even if they get even more angrier, angrier & angrier until they get faster, more serious & more determined. The thing I find interesting about 1:07 is it 1: definitively shows that the agents in this purgatory are not there out of choice and don’t want to be there. (Which yeah of course why would they). As well as implying that they’ve tried to escape before, after all how else would they know they can’t escape. 2. Really drives home how committed these guys are to trying to stop Hank. Gotta hand it to them for that despite being generously considered fodder. 3. Much like Hank, dying here doesn’t seem to mean much, as the soldat seems to be communicating to Hank.
For number 2. yes, those guys are indeed very commited If you've played project nexus, it kind of just shows how they kind of have CULTIST behavior when it comes to hank

I mean if you remember what happens with antipathy hank it's no surprise. That mf walked in blood from how many people he killed before he got to tricky. The other hank is good but he got tired of constantly being revived and having to deal with tricky. Plus he even got shorter from what we seen here.
I mean if you compare his killings in Antipathy vs Consternation you can see it. He was literally beating agents to death using an agent’s decapitated head. I don’t think he’s topped the brutality since.
This was impressive as hell. I love how the dead bodies sort of impact the environment more in this instead of just falling backwards ( Like the agent in the trash can or the broken glass) Nice Work!
With everything that has happened so far, here is my prediction for MC12: The Auditor once again gains control over most of Nevada, and ends up being more and more powerful than ever Meanwhile, 2BDamned ends up getting Deimos out of his Purgatory, and goes to the scene where MC11 ends There they see MAG. Hank and Sanford's battered body. They both try to carry them into a magnification or revival chamber, but find many enemies along the way. After some kills, a soldat or engineer warns the Auditor that 2BDamned and Deimos have been spotted. The Auditor immediately finds them. Having no experience in fighting the Auditor, 2BDamned and Deimos are intimidated. After a battle with the auditor (similar to the one in the beginning of MC10), The Auditor actually sucks in the protagonists for once. We are then sent to MC7 Hank, remaining in Hell. This time though, he looks entirely different. His body is nearly at the stage of death, yet he is still going. Consternation hank slices his way past soldats, engineers, and grunts. This time, in absolute rage. After a while, we see a retainer. The retainer has pink flesh, just like some of the grunts and agents in MC9.5.2. They fight a very long battle, and hank ends up winning. Hank seems to be looking for something, but we don't know what. As hank moves into the distance, the scene changes to 2BDamned and Deimos. Deimos and 2BDamned are falling down in a black, cloudy void. After a moment, land begins to appear. Deimos and 2BDamned fall down very heavily. The ground looks very dark and rocky, with a lot of floating islands. Deimos and 2BDamned are confused, but have to fight enemy grunts , agents, engineers, and soldats. After a few deaths, the enemies try to communicate to the protagonists that they don't want to fight, they only want to escape. Deimos is very skeptical at first, but 2BDamned convinces him to listen, signaling that they can't just escape by killing. The protagonist and a few agents end up finding a MAG Agent V4's battered body. Deimos and 2BDamned immediately start to mess around with the mechanical parts of it. Later, they accidentally create something that produces lightning. When the fight lightning stroke, the ground was shaking like an earthquake. Upon the second strike, it was even worse. The scene zooms out, and we see the auditor. He seems to be affected by the lightning that is happening inside, but quickly brushes it off. Going back to Hank, we see him standing inside a building, many dead bodies, and a circular portal. Hank slowly goes through the portal, and is now in Nevada. Hank, not knowing what has happened for the past few episodes, looks around in confusion. Everything is different than before. But now's not the time to think. It's normal for Nevada to become more and more insane. Hank goes around, fighting everyone he sees. He has no regret, no remorse, no reason. Actually, this time, he has 1 reason. To lash out all his anger, all his hatred for this world. Eventually, the Auditor finds out that Consternation hank is back. This time, he brings minigun and a huge axe. Hank notices 2 red, glowing eyes in the distance. It's the auditor. The Auditor begins to shoot his minigun, but hank hides behind a building wall. After a while, the Auditor comes toward Hank with his Axe and tries to dice him. Hank dodges. He tries to shoot the auditor, only to find out that bullets don't work on the Auditor. So Hank throws his guns down in frustration, and takes a sword from the ground. Hank lands a few blows, but it does not affect the Auditor. Suddenly, the Auditor almost falls to the ground. We hear lightning, from inside the Auditor. After noticing that the Auditor is weak, Hank slices the Auditor. This time, it actually damages him. After having enough, the Auditor tries to suck Hank in. Unfortunately, he gets the same "lightning" feeling from inside again, so his suck-in ability is halted. Hank then again tries to slice the auditor, but the Auditor punches hank away. We see that the Auditor is extremely weakened. After 1 last inner lightning strike, the Auditor's "body" has finally had enough. The Auditor explodes, and every single Agent, Grunt, Engineer, Soldat, etc that the Auditor has sucked in is finally out of his body. 2BDamned and Deimos (along with MAG Hank and Sanford's body) are amongst one of them. We see 2BDamned and Deimos wake up, and they see a familiar red glow.
God, I love the horror element in this episode. Tricky just gets scarier every time we see him, no wonder even a walking slaughterhouse like Hank is scared shitless of him
when you literally cut a mother fucker in half from top to down and he's still alive, even a monster gets scared of another monster. i hope we see more of this mother fucking bastard. after the bastard auditor exploded, i can't remember if either are alives.
1:26 the masked agent lives after Hank’s initial hit, then survives a few shots, then Hank empties an entire magazine into him point blank without even looking out of frustration
I thought Krinkels just put it there as a cool background feature, but that actually makes a lot of sense for the thing that finally killed Hank and Tricky to loom so prominently in their personal hell.

0:54 love how soldats are being portrayed as more powerful then normal Agents instead of just another fodder. Also the “Ouch, Hank we can not escape but we can stop you.” Makes me think that no matter how many times Hank kills them. They always come back. This is some form of hell after all. If that is true then the two agents and single engineer that drop down at 1:58 are the ones originally on the platform before Hank arrived.
@@Fulcrox That might be a reference to how Engineers and Soldats are the same rank but with different specializations. Soldats are better at direct fighting but are stupid and short-tempered while Engineers are better at more tactical combat but aren't as aggressive. Against MC6 Hank whose just a hyper-aggressive meat grinder of anger, Engineers are better suited to abuse that anger and fight smarter while Soldats just charge into that meat grinder.
Theory: -7:00-- So we see that the crustacean arm grabbing the MC6 styled Hank is what merged Hank with it as seen in MC9. It took the S-3LF of that Hank in the Other Place to revive him since he was dead when he was being Magnified. My idea is that when Tricky revived Hank in MC6, he used another method other than Enmeshment, so Hank's S-3LF in the Other Place stayed there. This can probably be supported by Doc's computer finding 4 Hanks (--3:57--), and What looks to be MC3 and MC4 Hank (--0:30--, --1:22--). When Doc opened up his computer to look for Hank, 4 different results popped up, so it could be that every time Hank was revived, the one who does so uses a method that isn't Enmeshment. And therefore, another one of Hank's S-3LFs is created on the spot when he's revived, and each time he dies, they end up in The Other Place. This is all really complicated right now but it's super fun to theorize on!- Revision (thanks to Ice Crawl 19 for some of this): 7:00 So we see that the crustacean arm grabbing the MC6 styled Hank is what merged Hank with it as seen in MC9. It took the S-3LF of that Hank in the Other Place to revive him since he was dead when he was being Magnified. Whenever Hank dies, and is revived, he regains a fractured version of his previous S-3LF, while that fragment of his S-3LF stays locked up in The Other Place. Antipathy Hank is the Hank with least amount of S-3LF, explaining why he's so brutal, he's practically not human anymore, as many say. Virtually no personality, just a robot programmed to do what he does best, "what comes natural" for him, killing (also explaining why he immediately goes after the other Hank). After he dies at the end of MC7, Hank completely loses his soul, explaining why when Deimos throws him in the Magnification Chamber to revive him, it has to fetch a S-3LF from The Others Place, since Hank's soul is completely and permanently fractured and locked up in The Other Place. This can probably be supported by Doc's computer finding 4 Hanks (3:57), and What looks to be MC3 Hank (0:30).
It would make sense as their fighting style are distinctively different. MC6 hank seems more brutal and fast paced while the other one seemed more keen on accuracy and style and was more hesitant.
i never realised those two grunt fellas might be early hanks. the black markings were from the injuries of those episodes. but that thought seems to spawn more questions then answers, like how the hell are these two hanks down here when he supposidly never died in the first place? Those bandages might have revived him afterall
Yeah, a lot of these theories are really fun, and I like this one a lot too. That's a good catch on the 4 Hanks too, though it still leaves the question as to how Hank was revived so many times between episodes if not through enmeshment. Could someone other than Doc have done it? Or could Doc know of a different method (which seems unlikely at face value without conjecture, given what we know through Arena and arguably Dedmos)
Another thing: Antipathy is reckless and aggresive, making him easier to catch up. Consternation, conversely, is slow and methodical, so he plans enough to wipe an entire room and not get hit at all. Basically, Antipathy just go bang bang; Consternation thinks first, THEN bang bang.
@@bababooey5402 on top of this is the fact that the combat effectiveness is the other way around for both Hanks when it comes to the Retainer; as part 1 shows, Consternation Hank got utterly thrashed by it and was unable to even land a single blow on it. Conversely, while he does admittedly have Tricky bailing him out a time or two and that the Retainer is apparently 'too tired' to use its telekinesis on him, Antipathy Hank is actually able to hold his own against the hell warden reasonably well, to the point of figuring out how to do lasting damage on it (impale things into its body so it can't regenerate) and managing to predict and dodge those flash step attacks.
@@lolrus5555 That's not really a fair comparison, then, since telekinesis was the single thing that stopped Consternation's (actually, MPN's) Hank from doing anything.
Probably the most confusing MC animation to date. Super hard to wrap my head around the stuff here (coming from someone who's in the know on all the obscure lore from Nexus and the like) Also, the music for this one is absolutely phenomenal; can't wait to see it uploaded and to hear it on its own merits.
@@Okie_Ukie Doc wants to revive MC7 Hank into MAG. Hank 7 gets retained by Retainer. Doc's next plan is to get last accessible Hank which is Hank MC6. Retainer gets disabled by Tricky in process of trying to get Hank 6 which unretained Hank 7. Doc executes his plan B and grabs Hank 6 instead of Hank 7. Simple. The only unknown things are how hell works, what's Tricky's deal and what about other Hanks. Doc PC says there's 2/15 (16+) and Hanks are labelled in binary. In Dedmos adventures we saw MC3 Hank which could mean that Hank was real deal.

The scars on the agents and such are scars from when hank killed them in previous scenes, and they only start appearing after most of the ones that don't have scars die.

Cool theory
This also means that Antipathy Hank, which I assume is the "canon" hank that died before being revived in episode 7, is confirmed as the hank currently alive in nevada- and Consternation Hank, who had his cranium fluted by Jebus's 500 magnum, is still trapped in "the other place" or hell.

I think we have 3 Trickys at this time period. if I have to guess which is what tricky here is what I think:
the tricky we find in 9.5 part 1 is Redeemer Tricky. he seemed to be more focused on trying to figure out what's going on then actually attacking hank.
@@localdude2979 premiere
So it is confirmed that its Hanks personal purgatory? I think Krinkels said that Hank hates everything. Which means... He hates himself too?
Maybe those “types” we saw when 2BDAMNED was trying to locate Hank was different Hanks left behind every time he got revived. Instead of just shoving Hank right back into his body, it creates a copy of his “soul” every time and the previous version gets left in Hell. We saw MC2 Hank in the Dedmos adventures, it’s possible that it wasn’t a hallucination or trick, but actually part of Hell seeping into Deimos’ purgatory on accident. Basically, the Improbability Drive just kept creating copies of Hank, most likely thanks to Tricky.
ok
damn that's deep.
wait does that mean mag hank is not the same hank or hank is not the correct Hank?!
Damn underrated
And it kinda show which is the "strongest" Hank, which probably what the retainer(s) try to avoid is unleashing the "stronger" copy.
2BDAMNED was probably trying to grab MC7 Hank since he was the latest Hank in the chain but accidentally grabbed MC6 Hank instead. So Mag Hank is basically MC6 Hank who never went through Madness 7.
20 years have passed and the Madness series still remain a masterpiece these days. You sure are one of the biggest inspirations out there, Krinkels!

Another example is the magnum from 5:56 onwards, it just sounds so goddamn meaty and powerful, like being shot with that thing would straight up split your skull open.
good sound design almost never gets recognized, so if noone doesnt notice anything bad about it that means its good
The double clink-clink at 3:12 as the two weapons fall to the ground was something i noticed recently. Just really satisfying.

@@nou7009Or the first Hank
@@nou7009 I have this theory too which is further reinforced by the fact that the giant binary sword appears in the background during this scene, symbolizing how Hank met his end in MC3.
Got to love the detailed dichotomy of the ATP corps. The Engineers are more careful and methodical due to their role as squad leaders while the Soldats are just going balls-to-the-wall recklessly berserk with their aggression, with both of these tactics having moments of ups and downs depending on the situation.
Tricky really is one of my favourite fictional characters ever.

With everything that has happened so far, here is my prediction for MC12:
The Auditor once again gains control over most of Nevada, and ends up being more and more powerful than ever
Meanwhile,
2BDamned ends up getting Deimos out of his Purgatory, and goes to the scene where MC11 ends
There they see MAG.
I dont think the auditor will do the sucking in bodies thing again since the last time he did it he nearly died

Theory:
-7:00-- So we see that the crustacean arm grabbing the MC6 styled Hank is what merged Hank with it as seen in MC9. This is all really complicated right now but it's super fun to theorize on!-
Revision (thanks to Ice Crawl 19 for some of this):
7:00 So we see that the crustacean arm grabbing the MC6 styled Hank is what merged Hank with it as seen in MC9.
Multiverse
Or could Doc know of a different method (which seems unlikely at face value without conjecture, given what we know through Arena and arguably Dedmos)
i don't think the post-6 hank is a "different person" in hank's body, i think they're all hank
1:34 IT’S THAT GOD DAMN SOUND EFFECT
More attention to this comment!
Yes
AAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGHH
Dont tell me its that scream...
I dont get it
i just realized, antipathy hank never fought the soldats/engineers, which is why he's struggling a bit with them
Another thing: Antipathy is reckless and aggresive, making him easier to catch up. Consternation, conversely, is slow and methodical, so he plans enough to wipe an entire room and not get hit at all.
Basically, Antipathy just go bang bang; Consternation thinks first, THEN bang bang.
fun fact: Antipathy means settled aversion or act of dislike
Consternation hank also never did
@@lolrus5555 That's not really a fair comparison, then, since telekinesis was the single thing that stopped Consternation's (actually, MPN's) Hank from doing anything.
You haven't lost your touch. I love how after all these years this series remains fresh and fun to watch.
Probably the most confusing MC animation to date. Super hard to wrap my head around the stuff here (coming from someone who's in the know on all the obscure lore from Nexus and the like)
Also, the music for this one is absolutely phenomenal; can't wait to see it uploaded and to hear it on its own merits.
Ive read almost every article on the wiki and have beaten mpn multiple times and yet i have no idea whats going on in this episode
@@reidj2226 I don’t think Doc intentionally wanted to revive Hank as a MAG because at 7:06 you can see the silhouette of a new Hank body that wasn’t all mutated, and so the tentacle got teleported with him to Nevada in turn fusing the two
@@RubenMartinez-qb8yy Watch MC9 more carefull.

The room Deimos enters with Hanks body is literally labeled "Agent Magnification"
Turning Hank into MAG was literally their plan.
Crab hand, wrong size, lower intellectual level and etc are because of Deimos getting shot in process of magnification.
It's long known Mandness combat fact.
@@reidj2226 It wasn't even really that Doc went with it anyway, they just did a coinflip literally lmfao
I like how when both Hanks meet, it's not one-sided, none of them are like "hey, we're on the same side, don't fight me", both are " hellbent" on killing the other.
